Which of these names do you find most memorable for an eCommerce painting business?
Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 26 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
A | 48% 24 votes | 50% 25 votes +1 | 52% 26 votes +1 |

A sounds the most natural. It rolls of the tongue well, is understandable, and easily recognizable.
A -artiscape and E Canvas curator provide best idea of what site is about. Coloriva is ambiguous but Canviva/Canvista do not give me an idea of what site is
I picked a because it sounds like the closest to painting business.
I like option A because it sounds really unique and catchy.
I would go with either Option A or Option D. I think either of those would be a good option, but my first choice is Option A. It sounds like more than just painting.
It sounds like an art thing. Canvista is like something related to art. I went in order of preference.
A is more specific to the item/service
I like the name artiscape the best. I like the sound of it and how it sounds. I find it very memorable
A. Is a good name. Art is right in the name E is also good. Canvas curator says “Art” D,B,and C are all awful. The words are meaningless and don’t even sound good
A is the best, because it sounds like a play on words and that is original. E is ok. B, C and D just sound like made-up words that don't really mean anything.
Option A is my preferred choice because out of all the names it gives the best sense of a service that produces unique painted art.
I only really like the first two choices. The others were not appealing at all for the proposed concept.
I can relate to artist painting so Artiscape is a no brainer. Canvas curator is okay although it may sound as if you are selling canvases (unpainted). D,B and C were all unappealing to me.
A and D are the best. I don’t have a preference between the two, and like the play on words. Use whichever has the URL available
A is a great name with a lot of originality. Canvas variations seem to remind me of the video tool called Canva.
After carefully studying and comparing all five proposed names listed above for an eCommerce painting business, I selected Option A as my first preference and the one that I would definitely click on first to learn more about this business. I felt that ARTISCAPE has a certain special "ring" to it that makes me very curious about this company and its services. Option C was my second choice followed by Option E, Option D and finally Option B with all five rankings based on my own personal opinion of the relative attractiveness of each proposed business name.
I feel that choice A best lends itself to a painting company because of the word "Art" in the name.
There may be an issue here with my understanding of what an "eCommerce painting business" would be. To me, that sounds like a house painter who advertises via the internet/social media. If this is an incorrect understanding, then my answers would change. With my understanding, I selected Option A based on the "scape" portion of the name (The "artist" part would not be relevant to me for a house painter). Other options were then chosen based on their reference to the use of color - implying they would choose/paint in attractive colors. If this was a portrait/landscape/artwork commissioned artist advertising their skills, I would rate A, E, D, C, B.
A sounds the most clever and rolls off the tongue well. C also sounds like a real word. The others sound way too made-up and like nonsense.
I'm confused on what type of "eCommerce painting business" we're talking about--painting, as in painting houses, but booked online? or painting, as in artwork? The name choices hint at the latter, so I've ranked them with that in mind. I like "Artiscape" for its play on words/sounds, i.e., "art escape," and because it's the most pointed of the five choices, it best describes what the service is. The others are ranked in descending order according to how memorable I find them.
I like option A the best because the name evokes imagery of a creative company with unlimited potential.
I think option A is more memorable. I think option A flows better than the other names.
Artiscape is catchy, easy to remember and more interesting than the others. Another variation of that could be Artscape.
More detail about what type of painting business- house painting? remodeling? portrait painting? But went with what made me think of painting.

B I like the Canviva for the name for the painting business. You are working with your own unique canvas. A Artiscape it will be your unique Artiscape. D Canvista is alright for the name. C I don't like the name. E I don't like the name.
None of these appeal really, a bit too "try hard". Of the 5 though, the two that start with "canvi" do best allude to art and artist materials without being weirdly dull, like Option E.Option A is fine, no more, no less, while Option C has a weird flow that doesn't sound right at all.
2 Responses to Option C
i chose option c because it sounds the most creative
C because it has the word Color attached to the name and color associates with paint. E because it has the word Canvas which associates with picture which associates with paint and color. A because the word Art associates with paint. I would not choose B or D because I would be confused as to why these names.
6 Responses to Option D
Options D &B really stand out the most among the choices. I especially like Canvista because it sounds really interesting and innovative for a painting business. That being said, Canviva follows closely behind for the same reason.
The "canv" in the names of the first 3 I chose reminds me of "canvas" so instantly I think of artistic painting. The last two selections could be in either order - I greatly prefer the first 3 names.
Canvista seems higher end than some of the others.
I like D because it's different but still easy to say; some of these are not so I would just pass them by.
Canvista is easiest to remember because it's a combination of canvas and vista. So easy.
My ranks are based on sonic quality and how well they roll off the tongue as well as describe something related to color or painting. Canvista wins because it has both of these along with the word "vista" which implies vision.

I like the sound of E. Plus, it sounds more creative and unique. D is also a favorite, it sounds good as far as mixing the art and me getting a curated for me product.
I think this sounds more like an artist the fact that you would want to curate multiple paintings
E is the name I like better than the others and it is easy to remember
I like that the canvas and curator are two words - that's catchy to me.
Canvas curator sounds like a skilled artist
I think the less "fake" name you get the better. No need to make something up just to fit a domain name anymore.
E and C stood out the most
I chose option E first because the name invokes images of canvasses that you would paint on. I chose option A second because the name makes me think of art landscapes. I chose option C third because the name makes me think of "viva color" or alive color. I chose option B fourth because the name makes me think of "viva canvas" or alive canvas. I chose option D last because the name makes me think of painted vista on canvasses.
It is lyrical name since both words begin with the letter, C. A curator acquires pieces of art for a museum.
Canvas Curator is the only intelligible Canvas variation on the list.
I like "E" best because it sounds like making something on canvas.
I am not a fan of B and C at all. The one that catches my attention first and the most is E followed by A. I think E stands out as to tell a person more about what the company does than the others. I do like the artistic spin on option A, also.
Absolutely none of those sound good in my opinion.
I think option E is very straightforward and understandable. D has a nice ring to it, A B and C are harder to say or don't really convey the idea of a painting business
The first three, e, an and c are the best. The last three are awful. The first three however, give the impression of a professional business that will produce exquisite work.
I like Option E the best as it sounds like a art gallery option. I think it implies museum quality art. Option C and D do not fit the concept very well.
