Which image is more appealing and why?
4 Responses to Option A
I don't like the bowl in the other option
I can identify with the emotion of a person more so than just seeing food
A because the way that the Photo is set It put emphasis on the can.
I was going to say B until I realized the lemons were squeezed and just sitting on the counter. A shows nice light and relaxation.

I like looking at the salad better the other is a person I do not know not sure of the interst in the other picture salad wins
Definitely prefer this image because it is selling an experience and makes me want to own the product. I can imagine owning and using it to recycle.
The fresh food is appealing, it demonstrates the use of the product, and I don't like that the man is facing away in the first photo
I chose B because I think it's a composting pail. I like that this choice shows the veggie scraps in it. I also chose it because the other one shows milk by the pail, which could be confusing for people since you shouldn't compost animal products.
Choice B focuses more on the food and utensiles, while A seems to focus on the man.
A is way too preachy
Overall it looks better but more importantly i think it shows its use in a much better way.
I chose Option B because it shows better what the product is and how it is used. When looking at Option A, I could not figure out what I was looking at. Upon seeing Option B, it all made sense.
Definitely B, as it shows the food as well as the compost.
image A has compost and someones back, that is not likely to draw customers
well, having your compost bucket so close to open food/drink is a little weird, but to make a choice of one of the two, I would say Option B with the salad. It is showing that you can put all of the remnants of the veggies that you put in your salad directly into the compost which looks good enough and fits in well to a contemporary kitchen countertop.
The man is A in looking away, which gives the impression he is not interested, ignoring the viewer. B is more neutral, invoking a happy kitchen and meal prep
Not even sure what I am looking at in A. B at least shows something appetizing.
It is more appealing because it easier to place myself in the scene. I can see myself standing at the counter tossing the salad. The angle is better too because it has a dimmer background and in the other picture the light from the window is a little too bright.
I just think everything about this picture is more aesthetically pleasing. I like the fresh looking salad and the whole kitchen look too.
The image I chose looks more professional. The photo with the man in it looks random and not well thought out.
I don't like when products are featured with humans, if it can be helped. B is much more visually organized and interesting. I'm interesting in that bucket and the salad serving utensils. A, on the other hand makes me focus on a faceless guy and a bright coffee much... and a disorganized counter.
I love seeking the food. If it involves cooking or food, I want to see beautiful pictures of food.
This image is more appealing because it makes you feel like you're sitting in the kitchen ready to eat a dish you made
I think this image is attractive and everything in it looks fresh. Also, I am not a fan of the other image with the guy, it's a lil creepy. He's dressed like a burglar :)
love the salad pic, and fresh lemon so rewarding
I like the look of the food
I prefer the aesthetic of Choice B over Choice A.
The image of the salad is more pleasant looking because it's a good looking salad also the angle of the bucket shows it off a little better.
I prefer option B. I feel like this is how most people would use a compost bin. They use it for vegetable and fruit odds and ends, such as fruit peels, veggie rinds and ends. I think most people don't know about using it for things like coffee grounds or tea bags/leaves. I actually didn't realize that was what was going on in the first picture. I just thought it was someone staring off into space, then I noticed he was having a mug of coffee or tea.
It focuses more on the product than a model
Frankly, image A almost looks like a trash bin. I like B with that bright salad that gives it some very appetizing color. Also, those lemon rinds suggest action in the kitchen, I can picture myself in there making something with them. That is a nice, and unexpected touch.
I don't think either is that appealing because having someone face away from the product feel odd and like he thinks it's disgusting and doesn't want to look at it and the other picture is out of focus and it looks like the main product is the salad bowl instead.
I like seeing the salad in B. It is colorful.
The color contrast of the food is eye catching and vivid against the white countertop.
The is a clearer focus in this choice compared to the other. I'm not sure what I am looking for when the guy is looking out away from the shot. It's easier to draw relationships between the two images in choice B and it's a much cleaner shot.
I think this shot is just a bit more colorful and I like the angles better. Its honestly fairly close, decision wise, though.
The pots are in greater focus. There is no man in the background to draw your eye away.
veggies look far more appealing.
food looks great and clear on the kitchen countertop
A looks like a mess is just left there. B looks like someone's compost
B is the best for me because that salad is looking delicious and now I am hungry. I like coffeee too but the salad is more appetizing for me and I want that the most.
The picture is clearer and looks more professional.
The food looks more appealing than the random stuff on the counter.
Image B that has a close up of the salad is more appealing than the image that has the guy.
I don't like the guy sitting there in A.
The image with the salad is brighter and more appealing.
I would use more greens than coffee in my compost bin
It is way more obvious in choice B that the item of interest is supposed to be a composting bucket. It provides a scene of food being prepared, and the waste in the composting container and beside it ready to go in. The picture for option A is confusing and not really apparent what product the viewer should be focusing on.
I like B the best because it shows a salad that was made and that the metal bin is where you dispose of all of your garbage like your lemon skins.
It shows good looking food
