I normally will just make sure to eat nutritious foods, but more importantly hydrate with water and some pink himalayan sea salt. Also, topical magnesium is helpful for me personally.
Personally I take a protein shake or some sort of protein that would help build back my muscles. I do not really use a product to help with recovery. I just make sure I get rest. If I am tired at the time I do not mind taking a nap as well
My biggest way to recover is with a heating pad. I love the ones that provide moist heat. I also will take a bath with epsom salts. The magnesium helps with muscle cramps.
Most people I know use things like ice packs. Helps cool the body down. Makes you feel comfortable and refreshed.
I prefer Ice Packs and heat baths for muscle recovery after big activities.
I hit the massage chair so I can hit alk the muscles in my body then I have a post workout protein drink I consume to help my muscles tk recover.
I use massage rollers to help relieve some of the pain. I also use ice packs if there is swelling. I want to keep the swelling down and keep the fluids moving thoroughout my body.
I just take a cold shower and thats it for recovering from a physical activity
After physical activity the most common thing I do to recover is drink a lot of fluids and protein and rest, sometimes massage and stretch, but I think sleep is very helpful.
I always drink chocolate milk to recover. I'm a big fan of ice packs and taking ice baths after road races to relax my muscles.
I always use a foam roller. I also use resistance bands to help stretch my muscles as well. I also hang from a pull-up bar.
I use ice packs on my sore / strained muscle after a work out. Sometimes, if the soreness goes on till the next day, I’ll use a heating pad. The heating pad tends to help alleviate pain and soreness. I’ve also learned that, after very intense workout sessions, sitting in a big trash bin full of ice helps alleviate pain and swelling. Laying down with a neck rest to help keep my neck and shoulders in place also helps.
After a workout I always drink a protein shake with creatine. I then eat dinner 30 minutes later. I always workout before dinner. Then the next morning i have another protein shake with creatine but only half the amount of protein.
After exercise I mostly just like to drink extremely cold water from the refrigerator and then wipe my head and face down thoroughly with cold water, that effectively cools down my whole body and makes me feel clean after sweating. I think some kind of ice bath for the face could be nice, a product that would be designed to easily facilitate that somehow
I will dri k a big glass of home la smoothie with extra kale nuts berries and 1 raw egg
We may use a heating pad, roller, stretch band, or ice pack after exercising.
Medicine banged
Usually after a workout we go back to our own houses have a hot shower and then soak in a Epsom salt bath. Afterwords, we rel in a massage chair or on a massage matt
Generally, I use a foam roller or a lacrosse ball. They help to loosen up my muscles after a hard workout.
Typically I drink a good amount of water, and try to walk for a while to let my muscles gradually cool down.
I use a hot foot massage machine for my feet to get the soreness out of my feet and legs
I don't do anything that taxing, like lifting weights, and I'm still young; so I don't do much besides drink a lot of water and take a shower after I exercise.
I work out all the time and usually recover without having to do much. Sometimes I will use exercise rollers to work out tight muscles if needed and applying hot cold compresses. Taking a bath in Epson salts helps too.
Honestly, even after strenuous exercise we don't really do much. We have a foam roller that we use infrequently, only when seriously needed. We also have hot/cold packs that we keep in the freezer but can also be microwaved as needed. We're super minimalist in everything so don't own a lot of products.
After strenuous exercise, I normally take a bath or run cool water on my face. This does not include any massage guns or heated braces. Also, ice packs are not involved in the process.
I would often rest and have a drink of water whenever I'm relaxing.
Many of us to to a chiropractor. He recommends ice between visits.
We go out for a coffee and talk and relax/wind down. The coffee does give us an extra boost as we lead busy lives. A nice shower once home is quite relaxing and a nice way to unwind. I don't need anything for pain. I just want to kick back and relax.
I like relaxing in a cool environment and taking a cold shower. I like to use ice packs if I am sore and will occasionally use a roller for my legs and lower body.
Usually I will simply sit and rest , but if there's pain I might take a hot shower, or use ice packs.
Support braces for appendages that might be sore, ice packs initially and heat pack or pad for mobility afterward; this is an infrequent occurence but I handle it the same way each time.
I relax by taking off my shoes and laying down. I drink a lot of room temp water and really just chill out and I always feel great.
I like laying on the couch with a heating pad and laying on top of a heating blanket and then moving the heating pad around to different areas of my body. As one area starts to loosen up and feel better, I move the heating pad around but my back is always on the heating blanket
Take a warm bath using bath salts to relax sore muscles
i use yoga and meditation. i also use ice packs and heating pads
Take a break get water and make sure to wipe off sweat so they don't get it on furniture when they sit down. They also will take off their shoes and massage their feet
I do an ice bath and drink chocolate milk
I USE BANDS TO STRETCH OUT WITH. i HAVE ALSO USED A FOAM ROLLER.
A good product to use for a workout recovery would be a device to lay down on that cools down your body from extreme heat or massages sore areas.
Generally after a heavy workout I will take a bath using Epsom salts in order to reduce inflammation and ease pain.
I take a warm shower and a nap after a workout.
Ice packs and massage guns are usually enough
The most I have done after a workout is drink a lot of water and maybe eat a granola bar or a recovery drink, like Muscle Milk. After a long day of walking on concrete I have soaked my feet in ice water or just ice if they hurt bad enough.
A foam roller is usually used and I also take some icy hot from time to time
Ice baths and massages work great. Rest is best if nothing else
I like to use massage as therapy as well as pain relief products.
after physical activity, I need to drink plenty of fluids, like cool water. I live in the south and it is so humid and hot, that most of us are dehydrated and that just leads to more injury. I also like a nice shower to get the sweat and grime off and then I decide what I need from there. I use to use the Icy hot, but now I like the Arnicare cream and a heating pad.
The best approach for recovery is to ice and sore areas for about 20 minutes followed by heat followed by gentle stretching and massage as needed.
I use a baseball to roll out tight muscles. I also do some basic mobility exercises. Other than that, I just eat healthy and drink plenty of water.
Ice packs or a really good nap. Maybe some pain meds if I am heating to bad
