I need digestion is the best. As long as they digest and eat properly. I like giving them a pill.
The most important feature for me is efficacy, and my preferred format is liquid.
Price and format, i.e. a tasty liquid I can administer through a syringe would be a plus, maybe peanut butter flavor.
The ingredients are very important to me. I want to know what I will be feeding my pet. I prefer pill form because it's easy to hide it in a treat that way.
I would want something to sprinkle over the food since that would be the easiest way for my dog to take it, and I would want something at a decent price and something that was honest on what was contained in the product.
The most important for me is ease of administering. If it doesn't have a decent flavor or isn't easily concealed in food it doesn't have any value no matter how cheap it is. My preferred format is powder I can mix into food or liquid I can administer directly. Pills have always been rejected by my dog and she even will "pocket" them on the side of her mouth and spit out later.
That it is vicenarian recommended and is effective.
Ingredients are the biggest issue. I want all natural, no preservatives. I will pay more for this.
The most important thing that the supplement works and I prefer pills because I can make sure they take it even if it's a bit difficult to do.
Something that my dog will eat on her own (ie thinks its a treat) is a huge bonus! I prefer something in the "treat" form.
It is always good to be on the lookout for healthy food for pets.
What is most important to me personally is the nutritional benefit of the supplement. I also want to make sure that it is wholesome and has nothing synthetic in it.
Price comes to mind first followed by quality AKA is this good for my dogs health. as far as how to administer we prefer pills. my dog takes 3 pills a day every day
Ease of administering is most important, because dogs don't take supplements well. I prefer powder because it can be sprinkled/mixed into food easily.
I feel that purpose followed by administration are most important. I usually go for a liquid that can be disguised or easily ingested. Even if I have to use the syringe, I prefer a liquid. Also, I don't really value random supplements but would consider them for thing like bone health or certain ailments.
I would say price is the most important for me because I want something that is affordable and fits my budget. My preferred format is pill because it's the least messy.
The most important feature for me is ingredients and my preferred format is a pill or a chewable.
I prefer powder because I can sprinkle it on top of his food. And the ingredients are always the most important feature.
I want the ingredients to be premium so that he lives a long life.
I love powder because you can just put it right in with food and a little water, dog doesn't notice and there's no mess or clean-up or anything.
I prefer the pill form because they are easiest to administer to my dog. I prefer all natural products for over the counter things that aren’t prescriptions. I usually go with the lowest priced also.
What is most important to me is the ingredients, price, and the ease of administrating the dog supplement. I also prefer for it to be in pill form since it is a lot easier to administer, not expensive.
Price is always a factor but the most important features are the ingredients. As far as format, I am drawn to supplements that come in the form of treats. A liquid that can be added to their food would also work for my pets.
I look for ingredients of the supplement to be ones I can trust. I want them clean and without contaminants. Powder, if it is good tasting is easiest to mix in wet food and give to the dog.
Price is the most important, usually. Powder and pill are both fine, because my dog doesn't have any issues taking pills.
When I am choosing dog supplement the feature that is most important for me is the ingredients.
I prefer powder and liquids, as long as they are flavors my dogs like. I prefer supplements that have a mini scoop for the exact amount, or a syringe if it's a liquid, and easily identifiable increments so I know I'm giving the right amount. Price is also a top priority, as all supplements I have found have been super expensive. The ingredients need to be easy to read, with as little fillers as possible - a "less is more type approach." I have my dog on supplements, but I'm always looking for better ones. It feels like I have to buy one for probiotics, and another for prebiotics, and yet another to add fiber. They never have all of what I'm looking for in one single product.
Price and format is usually most important. I prefer powders because its most easiest to give.
ingredients and form of administration are what matter most. I like it if it's in an easy serving based on weight and that it's a chew since one of my dogs doesn't like pills.
i always look for ingredients and mostly in powder form .Easy to mix with food.
I think ease of administering is most important. I prefer pill since you can put it in a pill pocket and our dogs really like that.
I definitely pick dog supplements based off of price, if they are pills and reviews. I always prefer a pill form because it's easy to give it to them.
For me personally the most important thing when choosing a supplement for my dog is definitely the ingredients. This is because whatever you give to them, (especially ingestable's) their body is going to absorb. So, if its full of ingredients that are harmful, toxic, or could have negative side effects that could cause sickness or even long term health problems. We have to do what's best for these guys because they solely rely on us just like babies. I for one want to ensure that my dog is as healthy as possible to avoid sickness and improve life longevity as much as possible, that's why ingredients are far more important to me than anything else when it comes to what I'm giving him. Id rather take the extra time to get him to take the supplement and pay extra if its going to be better for him. If multiple methods are available I prefer a pill because he can tell when there's medicine in the snack or food he's getting, and I've figured out that the swallowable pills are the easiest to get him to take
I prefer natural supplements for my dog. It is easiest to give my dog powder because I can mix it in his food.
My dog is a senior with a sensitive tummy so I always keep gentle, natural ingredients at the top of my priority list for her. I don't have a preferred format as she is generally pretty good about taking pills, but liquids and powders are probably easier for all of us. I am willing to spend a little more for her comfort but won't pay a price for supplements that I feel is outrageous; I'll shop around to find a better deal or forego it entirely if no alternative is found.
I prefer pills and I don’t select based on my own knowledge. I use what the vet recommends.
I personally feel that price is more important than all of the above factors just due to the fact that so much of dog supplements go unregulared. I normally go for the generic being the most economical because the store i.e Petco/Petsmart will stand very fiercely behind their label over say Blue Buffalo. This is because many times these higher-end brands are all part of the same conglomerate medical and food company for dogs. Following that, I prefer pill because I can easily hide them in a weenie treat for my dogs.
The price is super important since a lot of those types of products are wildly expensive and it deters me from even trying them in the first place. Pills are the best since you can put them in soft food.
The pill that is shown here is best suited for most pets and I think it would be the most cost effective
I think ease of administering is the most important. I want my dog to like it. I don’t like ones that I have to crush up and hide in wet food
Price is depending on the importance of the supplement. More important ones I will spend more for. I like pill form as my dogs eat it in their soft food. The most important thing is ease of acquiring.
The most important feature is high quality ingredients when choosing a dog supplement. I need to know they are going to help my dog in the best way. My preferred format is in pill form because it's easy to measure out.
I enjoy a dropper for thigs like cbd and all that because the dogs can eat around the pill, hence the best thing is taste for the dog and that they will actually eat it.
Aside from format, The ingredients are most important especially since some of my animals have sensitive stomachs. My preferred format is pill form. Because I won’t mess up measurements and I can put them in an organizer to a make sure I give the right dose daily. You can also cover it with peanut butter
That is made from natural ingredients, is effective and would prefer liquid to mix it with the food, and that it tastes good
I think that the ease of administering is the most important, and a powder is the easiest to put into water.
I think ingredients is most important. I want to know what I am giving my dog and how it will work for their body. I think a liquid to put in water is easiest.
The ingredients and the quality of ingredients is the prime factor if it will be something I will buy. I much prefer a liquid, it is a lot easier to administer this to a dog.
Ease of use and price. I usually like liquid or powder. But I prefer liquid the most because it soaks into the food.
In general, the most important feature is what my veterinarian recommends. Beyond that, I want something from a credible company with a long track record, and proven ingredients that do not include any extras that aren't backed by scientific evidence. As far as format goes, pills are simplest to administer.
