You bought a science kit for your child for $39 and it has 3 experiments inside. One of them makes cool patterns like the photo using food coloring, soap, and wood glue (all provided). Are you:
65 Responses to Option A
I would be happy because it is better than gathering up all of the ingredients by themselves to me
As long as my kid liked it i would be happy. This would be the entire point of my purchase anyway.
I will be glad because my kid will be able to learn painting and art faster with the product and also the price of the product is not that much expensive.
As long as the other three experiments make it worth the money, this sounds fine. I feel like this is how science experiment kits work. I wouldn't be pissed
AI prefer the convenience. Even though Hello fresh for example is pricy I like that it is all set in line for me to make.
I will go for the option A, the review was better and it clearly describe the message which is all about the product like the product is worth for the money or not. And the quality of the product was overall looking good by viewing this review.
I'm happy because of the enjoyment my child would get from this. I don't care that it is simple household products because I would not know to use these items to play with my child without having the product. Definitely happy.
I would think that my child would really like this activity so it would be well worth the price.
I am happy every single time my child gets to use their mind when it comes to something like this. It gets them away from video games.
A because I would hate to go through life being "pissed." My child's happiness is everything and this looks fun.
better explanation and usage of product in a positive way
While I do think it is a bit pricey, ultimately two factors stand out that make me happy. First, my child's enjoyment would be most important. In addition, I feel that this would be easier than doing the research myself, so the extra cost would offset the time I wouldn't be spending figuring how to do it from the internet.
It looks absolutely cool and interesting to play and any child would love it so, it's worth a shot.
As long as we can duplicate it again and again I would be okay with spending $39 to learn something new.
I think it looks fun and simple so kids would like it
I think the finished product and experience of creating it is worth the cost. I like having everything provided for me.
If I bought a science kit for my child for $39 and it had 3 experiments inside where one of them made cool patterns like the photo using food coloring, soap, and wood glue that was all provided in the kit, I would be extremely happy that it was all easy to get, simple household items because that means it would be something we could do again. This way you've taught the child that every day things have to do with science and that you could look at regular items and wonder about how things are made or what they could become. New science can come from that. I mean was't penicillin first discover on a regular old sandwich stuffed in a drawer?
I simply don't have time to assemble everything that would be needed. I would pay this for the convenience alone.
I know as a parent we are always looking for inexpensive ways to spend time with our kids so this would be perfect.
I would definitely be happy as this science kit gives my child joy.
I would be happy. My kids would do these and we could make a few hours out of it, so that is worth the price. My biggest thing with these is how hard to clean up and can you store them and use again. My experience with these kinds of kits is that they are one shot things and also very messy.
I think in this instance while the the stuff you are using in this kit is simple and easy to find and cheap, it's done so in a way that doesn't make me figure all that out and my kid is happy.
I would never get these together myself, so if my child enjoyed three activities for 39 I would consider it a fair price but an expensive one. 19 would be closer to the ball park for that, but 39 is okay for one time.
I try to take a positive look at life, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.
I think the price is fine, if the other 2 experiments are worthwhile. If it was just this experiment only I would not be happy at the price.
If the child loved it, I would just be happy.
I absolutely prefer to use cheap ingredients because I'm sure my kids will be messy and wasteful with them. As long as they enjoy the process and have fun, that's all that really matters.
Overall I'd be glad they had fun and learned some new things. I'd probably try to do it ourselves for future runs. The plastic case has some value, as do the instructions and experience, so I wouldn't be too frustrated at the cost, though it is a bit steep.
I would be happy because I love spending time with my kids
If my child is happy, than we're all happy. I have zero issue with this price point and disregard it as being a factor. I'd but this for my children with confidence.
as long as the items needed are described i would be happy to buy them for the kit
I vote A. We might not necessarily have every ingredient in the house, and for convenience, would rather just buy the kit.
I would be happy because this would mean that I learned how to make the experiments by myself in the future for my child.
Sometimes I think you cant put a price on happiness. If you are that concerned, you could have googled science experiments and found it out.
I think anything that gets your child engaged and learning is a positive and I wouldn't mind having spent the money on it. To get something that explains how to do it, tells me what to do and gets my child involved is something worth the effort and expense. Someone buying this is looking for ways to help their child and wouldn't be angry about it. If people want free and easy to do experiments, the internet is loaded with them, so no one should be angry about it. I think people would be happy and wouldn't mind paying the money if their child truly enjoyed it and got something out of it.
Yeah this seems like a reasonable thing to do with a science kit.
There are other experiments inside. Plus there is a value to convenience and not having to source the individual items myself.
I like choice A since it allows my child to be creative and have fun on their own terms. Choice B isn't as appealing since I couldn't think of the activity.
I think as a good parent you pay for experiences. $39 is not too much to introduce your child to creativity and is not too much to spend if it is something they enjoy.
It seems cool as long as the "simple" ingredients don't seem cheap.
As long as my child loves the product I am happy. I think that $39 is a fair price to pay for hours of constructive entertainment for my child and I would be happy to pay it regardless of what the ingredients are as long as they are non toxic.
I chose A because in general I would buy a kit for ease of use. I wouldn’t be pissed if it contained normal household ingredients but maybe wouldn’t buy again if I can make it myself
I'm happy because my child like it and also because I doubt I could've have replicated the kit at home myself.
There’s 2 other experiments in the kit but also I could replicate this one with supplies from the store as many times as I wanted. That’s a win
i think that i would not have thought of using these items and i think my child would like it and have fun.
As long as my child loves it I don’t mind purchasing something that uses common household products for experiments It actually makes it easier then having to try and find off the wall or unusual products
This is a very tentative vote for A, because I don't know what the other two experiments are. Moreover, generally speaking even though the items are cheap household items doesn't mean that I have them, and to buy the items individually may end up costing more than getting them in this kit unless bought in larger amounts, which would still overall cost more!
I think what is provided with the price is fine. Stuff for three experiments for 39 sounds about right as long as the instructions are good.
Seems a lot more upbeat
I would be happy that they enjoyed it, but the next time, I would purchase the items myself for cheaper and not buy the kit.
I like the drawing
This looks like a cool activity and I don't mind about the details. The price does seem a bit high in general for any pack that only contains 3 activities.
I mean assuming the 3 experiments have their materials packaged separately and it's not just $4 dollars in materials I wouldn't be pissed. I would probably be more pissed if I bought the kit and didn't have everything I needed.
I like to choose option B. Here we should not consider money for kids. and especially for learning . it will be useful so i am happy
I would be happy. Even if it uses cheap ingredients that just makes it more appealing to me because its easy to replace once it runs out.
even though it is pricey, it is interesting and I think that it would be a fun experience.
I'm happy because my kid is happy and I didn't have to gather up all the ingredients myself or think up the activity myself.
Even if they are common household items, I would waste more product if I tried to do this on my own without instruction.
I would be fine with the first set being like this, but then I'd probably try to only buy it once and make it the next times once I know how, with the items from home.
I would be happy because it would be a one time purchase for a unique product, and if my child is happy with it that's all that matters.
It was cool experiment and kids love to redo them.
I happy because my child is learning something no matter the cost.
I prefer Option A as my first choice. I'm much more a glass half full kind of a person so if my child is happy and delighted, I'm good. Thirty nine dollars is not that much in my opinion and it seems cheap at that price to make my child enthused and happy.
I feel like things like this help encourage children, and adults, to look at everyday items in a new and different way.
I love it because it is good value and it combines things for me I would have to otherwise spend time trying to do myself.

Regardless if my child liked it or not, the valuse doesnt match what i paid and i would be displeased with that.
I would prefer unique components that I could not easily put together on my own.
i choose the choice based on the content information of product
I feel that it is a waste of money to pay for something that uses simple things to make for that much.
I am a do it yourselfer and I would be sad I overpaid. At the same time I would still be happy if it was a success.
I picked b because it is simple and uses common ingredients
It’s too expensive. I can make that myself for much less.
I would pick option B because I think it's overpriced for the ingredients used. I chose that because people, who don't have much money and are thrity could achieve the same result by buying the ingredients theirselves for under $15.
I think $39 is a little too much to pay for a product that uses stuff that I can find around my house. I think this should be much cheaper if I have to supply a majority of the items.
I would feel scammed that I paid so much money for instructions and basic household ingredients. It wouldn't be as angering if the cost was commensurate with what I was getting. $39 is way too much for soap, glue, and food coloring.
I don't think food coloring, soap, and glue are worth $39.
$39 seems pretty high. $23 would be more reasonable.
I generally don't buy science kits, because they are overpriced. That $40 could have bought enough materials for all 5 of my kids to have their own "science" kit easily. Seems like a massive waste of money, and the product is overpriced.
I would be annoyed that it was THAT expensive for household items. If it was say $12-14 maybe I wouldn't care so much but $39 is a lot of money.
$39 is a lot of money. I could maybe justify it as a gift, but if I'm just buying it for my kid to play with I think I would be annoyed at that price for common goods.
I think $39 for stuff you could google and do yourself. for that amount of money you would want items and experiments that were out of the ordinary.
Yes the cost is too much for this simple project.
that just seems like a scam you could have just looked it up and you already had everthing
I've done this before with my son using milk, so definitely stuff we already have at home. Unless the other experiments are worth more I'd be annoyed.
Option B, I prefer to use money towards goods and experiences I can't rightly create at home myself. If I knew this is in the kit I would have felt duped and that I should have done more research. These would be things we could typically do on our own.
I dont like spending money on items that are easily accessible. I have all these items at home including wood glue. I can easily youtube these types of experiments and would be upset at one just like this.
I feel like $39 is way too much money for something so simple.
I think I should get something more unique than standard everyday items for $39. Maybe for $19 or so, I wouldn't be upset.
I wouldn't say I'd be pissed. Neither of these options are good but I also wouldn't buy it if it were $39. I do this all the time at home for maybe $3.
Too expensive for something with these materials and result, 10-15 more appropriate
I would rather look up my own experiments to do with cheap household items instead of buying a kit.
The biggest problem is that it only includes 3 ingredients and it's 1/3 of the kit. If there were 4 experiments and one was super easy with basic items like this, I wouldn't be upset at all.
I need an in-between, it would really depend on what the other experiments are for me to decide if it would be worth the money or not, because I have all of those items already, it’s not like I needed more of them, but if the other experiments came with something more unusual then it would be fine.
I am not happy because it is overpriced for ingredients that do not cost that much if you bought them seperately.
I can get the ingredients for much cheaper. It would also depend on what the other 2 experiments are. If they're higher quality, I might be more inclined to spend more
I don’t want to waste money for these simple home ingredients
I would be angry that I paid $40 for something that I could have easily recreated for under $10
Yes seems too much to pay for what you get
I'd be frustrated, but it really really really depends on the other 2 experiments and if I thought I was getting my money's worth from them.
I could have supplied all of these myself for probably less than $5.
