How well are you able to find the lowest cost and most conveniently located available parking when visiting an area where parking is limited, such as in a big city?

I am usually able to find parking eventually, but it can be a time consuming and irritating process.
I think fairly well. You can normally find parking that you have to pay for
I am not able to find them well. I can spot parking lots and can find convenient ones, but finding the lowest cost one is difficult. I wish it was easier.
It is hard to find available parking in most major big cities. There are times that we have to drive around for what seems like an hour or more before we find spots.
It depends on many factors such as time of day / night, activities, etc. But I can usually find a spot. It can be frustrating and wasteful, having to drive around for a while.
I don't even try to park in the city. I'll go to the suburbs and ride public transportation.
Easily - there are plenty of parking apps available to find in app stores or on the web
Very easily, it's not hard to do with just a little Googling
Not very well at all. I am from a small town where paid parking is not a thing. We recently visited an area in Florida and had complete sticker shock. We noticed when walking that there was a huge range of cost between different lots. It would have been great to know that ahead of time.
I am pretty bad at finding good parking, honestly. It's especially bad at airports, those are always horrible to find parking for. I consider convenience to be higher than price, since you usually don't get both, but it's rough trying to find an accurate count of either of them. Especially if you already have a tight schedule to fit finding parking into.
I feel that I always search for a good parking spot online before I go. It's good to know beforehand where you can park. Think that helps a lot and is a good way to get into the city and at least have an idea of where to go. I'd say that is the best choice for parking in the big city.
I will normally google where the cheapest parking is available and go off of that. I will drive a certain amount till I find a good spot.
This could be very helpful. When going out to such events, it is always a calamity to find parking.
Parking in big cities or other locations without many parking options is always a challenge. I often have to do painstaking research online ahead of time, or I am at the mercy of whatever I can find. I may find myself driving in circles for a frustratingly long period of time looking.
I feel that it is very annoying especially living in a big city like I do. You would have to lucky to find street parking in a busy area.
Not very well. I do look on line before I go to see where parking is available, but I don't find the cost to be accurate, and I never know if there will actually be spots by the time I arrive. It is very frustrating.
It is hard, with one way streets in down town areas. Large parking garages help locate parking easily, even though most due charge a fee
Not at all- I usually just go with what works at that time. Sometimes it takes forever finding a spot, sometimes I have to spend a ton of money
google maps, primarily. other things, too
I don't think that I hardly ever find the lowest cost or most conveniently located available parking when I go downtown, but I have never really had that much trouble finding parking that meets my needs without being too expensive or inconvenient.
Its tough to find the best price, but you can usually find parking pretty easily. Sometimes you can use Google to figure out the best price.
Spothero works really well. I am comfortable it is a great option, if not the best.
I just check google and go with what they tell me.
For the most part, I can find the cheapest and best located, especially if I know in advance and book the spots a couple days early. I use spot hero.
Not that well, I am very bad at patience when it comes to parking. I would try to utilize resources to make a good choice like using an app, but last time I was in a big city I didn't do this
I look up sites and google maps for recommendations for parking
Not well, actually. It's mostly out of pure luck that I manage to get cheap parking.
It is usually very difficult, the easier it is to find the more expensive it is and vice versa
It depends what city, but lately I haven't been having too many issues.
It is really hard to find parking in such areas because there is no way where you can be able to pre-book your parking for a period of time which would be an easy way but now the only way to find the parking is getting there physically with the car and finding your paring space.
I am so thankful that my husband and I each have acquired handicapped accessible tags to use to obtain parking when visiting an area where parking is limited. This is vital to our ability to be somewhat independent in accessing businesses and services in our community.
That's very difficult because there's different apps for different sections
Usually I check for an app or a guide for parking before visiting any large city, parking is always an issue in big crowded cities. There are many apps and online guides that provide you with the necessary information and resources to find easy parking.
I might ask a local I know or ask on reddit for some tips
It's very difficult to find the lowest cost parking since I live in an expensive city overall for parking, NYC.
I often have a problem finding lower cost parking options when traveling to a new place. In a big city, this can be an enormous challenge and also quite time consuming rather than being convenient.
I do have some significant difficulty finding the lowest cost and most conveniently located parking in a big city, especially in a city that I have not visited before and do not know where all the main attractions are located.
I'm very well at finding cheap parking as I look online for it.
There are plenty of parking garages in the big city but they are all a bit costly and not exactly affordable for someone on a budget so I tend to park far when I can
Not well at all. I look around and take what I see.
I can find something decent about half the time. The rest of the time it is too expensive.
Not well, I wouldn't know where to look
I'm not very good at it. I usually just drive around until I find parking and park there, no matter how much it costs.
i dont think i find it well at all, i hate paying for parking but want it to be clean and safe
This is not an easy task, particularly in a big city. Salt Lake is the closest big city to me, and I hate having to try to find convenient, affordable parking.
It is usually very hard to find a low cost parking facility when you are in a big city because I feel like they are all generally priced around the same amount and it's usually for the first couple hours that it's the cheapest and if you're going to a city to shop or walk around you know that by time you get there and actually shop you're going to be gone longer than the limited amount of time.
Parking in a big city is hard frustrating and very expensive. It is a downside of going to a destination in a big city
Directions is my weakness so once I Find parking I go there regardless of cost. Just get me out of the car as soon as possible
I am not able to because I don't have good directions to get to the cheaper lots easily
It is near impossible which is why I never put myself into these types of situations.
