Would you buy a hibachi-style table top charcoal grill to cook skewers, yakitori, etc. in a social/interactive manner with friends and family?

I would! This seems like a really fun meal idea, as long as you did it with beef!
YES i WOULD. I ENJOY COOKING AND THIS COULD BE A FUN THING TO DO WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. ALMOST LIKE A FONDU PARTY. YOU TALK, HAVE A FEW DRINKS, AND EVERYONE CAN COOK, THERE ON FOOD TO THEIR LIKING
Probably not as I don't cook with other people or go to places like this.
Probably not. It seems like a fun idea, but personally I just wouldn't buy a special grill to use only occassionally and that may be dangerous around kids. The fun of hibachi is watching someone else do it, and enjoying the experience with the incredible hibachi chefs
I would not but this item, seeing as I hardly ever cook this type of food.
Absolutely! It think it would be a fun and interactive dinner experience to have that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to go eat at a hibachi restaurant, which all of my friends an family love to do. Would love for one to be a little large than in the picture and come with a recipe book as well.
I would buy this if I frequently cooked this style of food, I don't personally cook this so it would be a no from me.
It would depend on the price but if it was a reasonable price I would be interested.
Yes, it seems like a fun thing to do with friends.
I would not because I would rather cook outside on a grill
No. That sounds like a potential fire hazard.
The thought itself gives me a fun and happy get together movements.
Yes. I think that would be a novel thing to have and would enjoy using it to entertain.
No, would not get much use and can improvise with other items I already have
I would, I personally love Korean BBQ, and it would fun to do that home
Yes! This looks fun and engaging!
I would purchase this because it would definitely be used in my home. I like the simplicity of it and the design.
No. I would use this so infrequently that it would just sit gathering dust for the 364 days a year that I don't cook with it. It would be really cute and fun to have for guests to use, but I wouldn't want something taking up space in my house that I'm not frequently using.
I would! It would be an awesome way to both entertain and host dinners. We cook at home a lot, but sometimes it can be hard to try and entertain friends and family while also cooking dinner. This allows for a more interactive and engaging meal and fun time with those around.
no - I have a toddler, and most of our family/friends have kids - so something like this wouldn't be a good product for our current lifestyle. I'd be worried about the little ones getting into the hot stuff.
I would purchase a hibachi table top grill to provide a fun and interesting social experience with friends! It would be a novel experience and looks easy to use.
Yes, it is cool and brings the family together. Also it is a conversation starter since it is rarely used in my country
Yes, I think this would be a lot of fun to do when you have company over; also would be nice too for bonding with the family on a weekend.
I would buy one because its a food we love and it would be a joy to share with family and some friends
Yes, this looks like a fun experience and a way to cook tasty food.
This seems pretty cool. I don't think I cook enough to do this, but I can definitely see my friends using this and having an impromptu get-together. I think it's a nice set and would be a fun idea to have overall.
While it seems interesting at first glance. I think this would quickly lose its appeal and be relegated to the hall closet. I would not buy it.
No, this is not something I would use that often, I live by myself and dont really entertain much
I would not buy a hibachi-style table top charcoal grill. If I was rich, had the time, and someone to cook for me, I would absolutely invest in this. However, with my work schedule it is not feasible for me to entertain guests with this; although I love the idea.
Yes, I think this would be a fun activity to share with my family and for dinner parties. Also I love the taste of fresh grilled items. This is one of the best new ideas for a home product that I have heard in a long time.
I would not buy that. It seems like one of the kitschy kitchen items that ends up being used once as a sort of party trick and then put away to gather dust. I think the size of the hibachi style grill would mean it would not cook as efficiently and it would probably be more of a hassle to use this than to cook the skewers on a traditional grill or with an over. I also think the smells from the grill would build up in the house, as opposed to grilling outside where it can air out.
I think that this would be a fun item to have; I would use it to prepare vegetables and meats for a small gathering. I think it would provide good conversation and I could prepare delicious things with it.
It's such a fad looking thing that would occupy too much space in my kitchen and I can use a cast iron grill easier and it has more functionality, so I wouldn't buy this.
This would be a lot of fun, and many of my friends like to cook and this is a nice novelty. My concern about it is that it is the kind of thing you may do once but then never do again. it might be a lot of trouble getting everything prepped for the hibachi, and in the end, once the novelty wears off, you won't be having more of these again. This is the kind of item you get for someone as a gift that they then re-gift. Again, a fun idea, I wish it would be something I would do alot, but experience has shown otherwise.
Yes! Well, it would depend on price. But that sounds like a really fun idea! I guess I would only want to buy it if it came with everything I needed, as well as instructions in English. I would not want to mess with fire if I don't know what I'm doing. The other consideration is what kind of surface it can be placed on, because I don't have a lot of space. I think it would depend, but I would get a grill and settings for 4-6 people, depending on price.
absolutely. this would make not only a great conversation piece but also a great meal. everyone would enjoy interacting with the cooking experience too.
Yes i would. I think it would be a fun way to have dinner with the family or when having friends over. It would change up the way we normally would have dinner and make more of an experience we would normally not have.
yes because it allow me to cook different types of foods such as yakitori
Sure would! It sounds like a great way to have a get together with close friends.
Yes, one of my favorite foods is shish kabobs and this would make it so easy to cook alot of it to share with my family
Yes, I would. I have always wanted to try it, but my location does not have a restaurant like this, so I would have to buy it and make it myself. Plus it is pretty interesting and fun to use
Although I don't really care for this type of food, I would buy the product anyway. It would be an interesting thing to have for social interactions and other people would enjoy it.
I personally would not. The experience of hibachi is so good at the restaurant I don't think that could be replicated at home. The hat, fire, smoke, the jokes and sake squirts just wouldn't be the same. I think it would be something someone used once and then sits in the cubbard wasting space
Yes I would buy this, sounds like a great thing for social events with friends.
Yes, that sound like fun. I like those types of open grill restaurants and would think having something like this at home would save money
I think this would be an interesting thing to have at parties, although obviously I would not want to use it at every party I have. I think this might be a good item to use with certain themes like wine tasting parties, book club nights, and for couples to use sometimes on a date night in. I would probably purchase one of these if the price were reasonable.
yes because I love hibachi and it is so expensive.
yes, it looks like a fun way to eat and mingle with friends
right now no I would not, I don't hast parties ever really, and I have 2 small kids at home, not the best for a grill in the middle of our table. As a whole though I like the idea. I am a big foodie, I was a professional cook/chef for over a decade. I would love to have it around and get it out for a nice dinner with my wife and I or for having a party and adding a little fun.
I would. It looks like a lot of fun. It would be a great way to meet neighbors and try new foods. Sign me up!
