due to my chronic illness, working from home is a lot less challenging
YES ITS B VERY PEACEFUL
I get more done when I work at home. Fewer distractions and interuptions
i love being with my family
Because I enjoy working from home without having to be social with others. I'm an introvert so I feel so much better alone at home rather than having to talk to coworkers all the time.
I have liked the work from home due to quarantine but I am anxious to get out again.
It's awesome working from home. No commute, not having to get dressed up, cheaper lunches. It's great
I like peace and quiet, no commuting, my own bathroom, kitchen and coffee. The dull noise of an office gives me a headache and puts me in a bad mood. On breaks, I can take a nap in my bed and feel refreshed.
Yes. I don't like commuting or being in an office.
Yes, I would love to work from home. I just wish that we had freedom to go around.
I prefer working from home and have done so from well before COVID9. I find commuting in my car during rush hours to be stressful, pollutes the air, wasteful of time, gas and money for gas. It’s healthier for me, my budget, and the environment to work from home.
absolutely, i wish my job gave me the opportunity to work from home all the time
I enjoy working from home and my job hasn't changed much since
Yes, I like working from home for many reasons. I have no interruptions which makes me able to finish projects faster. I also have shorter work days because there is no commute and also it saves money on transportation and work clothes and lunches. I have more time to feel energetic at the end of the day for personal activities.
It's much more efficient. It seems better and you can get just as much done. This could be a movement towards the future for many office workers. For physical labor, it won't happen but if you have the chance, it's worth it.
Right now it's safer to work at home because of coronavirus
No need to work at an office. Waste of energy and just overall irritating.
I have a great environment at both work and home but I would love to never have to commute and still find a way to make the same amount of money. I love the home environment and freedom to operate.
I enjoy not having to travel to go to work
I dont have the option to work from home but I would love to if it gave me more time with my kids.
Less commute time, less dealing with others, more comfortable.
Option A is work from home forever. This is the choice I would make because in the process of working from home I can combine household chores while I work like laundry, cleaning, cooking and home care. There would be less spent on transportation, clothing and lunches out. I would be handy for the grandkids if they became ill at school, or needed a place to be during holidays and summer. I would be home with the dog.
I like eliminating the commute and being closer to family.
I feel like I get more accomplished from home and can multi-task in a more productive way.
I would be happy to work at home always. I've done it in the past, and appreciate the duo world of home and work.
Working from home will help to gain fewer interruptions, which will allow someone to be more focused on work. Working from home will help to have a better work/life balance.
more time to exercise, comfortable, convenient
I love it and never want to go to an office
Would still want to be able to go to an office or shared space at some points but I'm generally more productive working from home.
It would be very convenient
I work from home anyway, so that would be no issues for me at all.
I've saved so much money on gas and not having to wake up early is a nice option. I miss my coworkers, but it is nice to relax.
Would like to do work from home with flexible time so that i can take care of my kids and enjoying their childhood.
Yes, I can get so much more done from home and can put in more hours than going into an office.
There are advantages and disadvantages with virtually everything, but on balance, I prefer to do my own thing and have the convenience and freedom working from home provides.
I feel better, I don't have to drive as much and work on my car as much, I save money, I don't have to be where there are fragrances and spent a lot of time trying to wash that out of my clothes, I get more sleep, I get more done around the house, I see more of my family.
I like not having to get dressed up early in the morning, commute in traffic, and sit in a boring office. It's nice to be able to walk around mid-day outside if I ned some fresh air. Maybe I would go into the office once a week to see my co-workers?
I am more productive and get more hours in the day due to not commuting. I saving 2.5 hours each day by not having to commute.
I have worked at home exclusively for 15 years. I can work without interruptions and without a commute, I can devote more time to work.
i love not having a commute. i like being able to control the noise level around me and not have the distractions of working in an office with people walking by, talking loudly, yelling across the cubs walls, etc.
I like being able to work from home. I feel that I am more productive with less unnecessary interruptions.
I feel more efficient and I can actually work longer hours from home.
The positives of no people and traffic outweigh the negatives of being distracted more often.
I enjoy the comfort and flexibility of working in my house. I hate commuting to and from work and prefer being more in control of when I am able to start and end my work day.
I would work from home forever. Today this technology is here to telecommute by having meetings over video, constant communication over email/IM, and good internet to do other necessary online work. Working from home means less cars on the road so less carbon emissions, and less time spent commuting so more free time for family and hobbies.
I love being home all day! I am much more productive.
I hate my commute. It's 60 miles each way, 3 days a week. Working from home cuts down on a great deal of stress and I can do the same work. yes, I'd gladly work from home for the rest of whatever. :)
100%! I enjoy being in comfortable clothes and not having a commute.
I like it so much more, things get done for me faster and I feel more comfortable.
I have more freedom, no coworkers over my back all day, kids can school at home and I can care for them, closer with family and husband this way,my husband can also work at home, saves time, money, builds relationships, keep us safer, more productive at home
Yes I already started. It would be the best thing for me.
I don't like getting out and would love to be able to stay home and get my work done
It allows for a location independent lifestyle and suits me better in terms of a work-life balance. And I'm as productive too.
I often fantasized about working from home, especially for the last few years. Now that I've been doing it (for nearly one month now), I don't want to go back to working in a communal office with a bunch of other people. I would be ok with working in a small office if the atmosphere was good because the socialization is nice. But it's not always for sure that that's the of environment or the type of people you'll end up working with. I've been very happy and at peace working from home. If I can't keep doing this I will likely change jobs or companies soon.
I enjoy working from home. It saves time and money.
While I like driving, getting dressed up and hanging out in a social office environment sometimes, I dislike the necessity of doing it every day. Commuting, office-clothes care and annoying things like office birthdays cost quite a lot, and I'd rather keep that money. I'm comfortable at home and it seems like a much better choice for me.
It would be easier and cost effective for me to do so. I am in security now so it is not possible, but an at home job would be fine with me.
It’s easy enough to get work done and communicate to my team electronically
Why give away a percentage of your life to commute if you didn't need to? Most definitely yes.
Yes. It saves money on gas, clothing and food. Not to mention the wear and tear on my vehicle.
My current job is much easier working from home as I don't have to deal with many hassles and menial tasks that I do while working on site. I would definitely miss seeing people regularly, especially for potential romantic interests, but I could always just make an effort to get out more in my off time. I have plans for artistic interests in the future as well, which would inherently be working from home, so I am already fairly mentally prepared for doing so for a long time.
I have actually worked out of my home more often than not throughout my career and I enjoy it very much. I definitely prefer it to going into the office.
Working from home would be more convenient and save time and money on not having to commute
I hate having the commute into my office. Working from home is so much more relaxing, and I actually feel MORE motivated to work from here than I do in the office. I get so bored in the office doing my job. After about an hour of active work in the morning, I basically sit there for hours thinking of what I could be doing at home. Now I can get those things accomplished! I'm a happier person having more balance.
As long as I could upgrade my equipment/supplies, yes, absolutely. I do miss my co-workers, but I'm really liking having more flexibility in my schedule. I have two young children, so working from home would mean more time with them. Even if/when they return to school, I would still get to see them more because I would be able to pick them up, etc. I would be here with them for their days off and for summers. I have kind of a makeshift set-up right now because we closed abruptly, but if I could set up a better workstation, then yes definitely.

i like leaving my house and interacting with my co-workers in person
I like to be able to get out of the house and socialize with other people. I also want to work without being around so many distractions from home. It is hard to work at home and focus with kids or dirty dishes in the sink or a dog that is barking at mailman.
It started off nice, but now I am sick of it. I need more human communication and like the office environment.
I don't want to work from home forever, but I also don't want to return to going to the office every day. What I really want is the option to do some of both.
I would like to work from home maybe 40 percent of the time and work from the office the other 60 percent. I like being in the office, with cowokers, it's a nice feeling to be around other people and generally gives me more motivation. However, I do occasionally enjoy working from home.
I don't mind for now, but in the long run I would feel a bit isolated and would miss being with my coworkers.
I really enjoy the social aspects of work at the office. I think I could enjoy working from home a few days a week but I would not want it forever.
I would not choose it too risky
Hell, no! I'm being forced to work from home right now because our state has a stay-at-home order in place and I hate it. Not being able to separate my work life from my family obligations is just too creepy.
I would get quite bored working at home all the time.
I would not work from home forever if I could because it is not possible to do my job as effectively from home and I miss the human interaction.
No, I am a teacher and the experience is lost in translation. While my job is now MUCH easier, it is also not nearly as interactive or fun.
Although working from home is something I've done before Covid-19 and enjoyed. I still wouldn't mind face-to-face interaction and being back in the office again at some point. I also enjoy going to lunch and the casual conversations that would occur at random times of the day.
As nice as it is to do so occasionally, I miss the way workingi n the office breaks up the day. Since I walk to work, it also costs me regular, easy exercise.
I am less productive at home due to family interruptions, lack of a proper workspace, and difficulties in communicating efficiently with my colleagues.
I like interacting with my coworkers.
I would not. While I really enjoy working from home I would miss the interaction with coworkers and the ability to be more efficient when I am at work. My ideal scenario would be able to split it 50/50. Then I would have the benefits of both situations.
No I wouldn’t mind 50/50 as I do like the social interaction with others
I would rather work at the company , I work for and not at home
I like to be face to face with my coworkers. I feel more connected and think we problem solve and work more efficiently when we are together. If possible, I would prefer a mix of at home and on location.
I would not work from home forever. I think a separation of work and home space is crucial for productivity and organization.
I like working from home, but prefer to interact with other and go out into society
I need to be out and seeing whats happening around me. This goes for daytime and nighttime hours.
No. While this would be desirable at first, I would eventually long for human interaction and companionship from co-workers.
I would have to get out. If I worked from home, I would not be able to separate home life from work life in my mind eventually.
I am a people person and prefer social in person interaction in my work.
I enjoy going into the office for a day or two to catch up on meetings and such.
Meeting and speaking with co-workers is part of the work experience. It is also easier to access necessary resources at the workplace. I dislike working using Zoom or other long-distance tools as well. Staying at home all day makes me feel uneasy and unproductive. I work from home right now because that is part of my job but I would definitely not choose to work from home forever.
Too many distractions and I am not as productive as I am in the office.
I would miss going into the office, and the social aspect at least two days a week. I need something outside of my living room.
I've never had a job I could work from home doing and don't think that fits well with my personality and the type of work I find fulfilling.
I would have to say no. My job deals with interacting with multiple groups of people throughout the day. Not all of them are up-to-date with technology like zoom and it is easier to be in the office for them to stop by. Working from home on occasion could be a great break from the monotony of work life, but I would rather be in the office where I feel I am more easily accessible and productive.
while i do enjoy it and it has flexibility, i really enjoy seeing people in person and collaborating in the office. I think there is room for having flexibility but I don't think i would want to do it forever.
I personally like a mix of being able to go into the office and work from home some days. There are times when going into the office is more productive and offers face to face contact. The work from home allows me time to be away from the hustle and bustle of the office and is a more relaxed atmosphere where I can still get things done
I love working with people, so I would not want to work from home. Additionally, I work in mental healthcare, so I have not been working from home at all during this time.
