When choosing a baby carrier, what are the most important features? Rank the options below from most to least important.
Option E won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 28 votes after 5 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

I think sustainability is very important overall. It's essential to the longevity and health environment for the planet.

I think comfort and ease of use are the only factors I care about, if I am using this thing all of the time I need it to be comfy for both me and my baby and I don’t want to spend forever trying to figure out how to use it.
B E and G are the most important factors by far. it needs to be easy to use and be comfortable for the parent and baby
I think comfort for the child, as well as safety, is the most important thing.
The most important feature out of the seven choices for me, is option B. The design has to be comfortable first and foremost for the baby and then also for me, the parent. It's the most important feature, because, it ensures comfort and safety for parent and baby. Makes sure the weight is distributed evenly, and good support for the back and legs, making it comfortable for the baby inside, and for the parent a good and ergonomic design to carry the carrier. Second choice is option G, I care much more about quality than price when it comes to a baby carrier. There's no price for the safety and comfort for your baby, better save up some money and get a good quality baby carrier, or else it's not worth it. Third choice is option E, ease of use. It ha to be an easy to use baby carrier, some of them are so heavy and painful to carry, you don't even want to use it. Thw style, option D is my fourth important choice for a carrier. I need a nice design and colors with good features since I know I will be paying a lot for this carrier, I want it to also be nice to look at. Option C is my fifth choice, sometimes we need to go out to the country or camping/hiking, so outdoor suitability, is also another important factor when it comes to baby carriers. Option F, does not really make sense to me, since quality over price is much more important to me, than vice versa. The last one, option A is the least important feature of a baby carrier for me. The last thing I worry about when it comes to the safety, design and quality of my baby carrier, is if it's made from recycled materials, including ocean recovered plastics? That is not a deciding factor for me when I want to purchase most if not all products in my life.
I am most concerned about comfort for myself and the baby. I usually sacrifice quality for price, but in the case of a carrier that is heavy that my child will spend a lot of time in, I care greatly about it being well made and comfortable. Thus, I greatly value B, G and E. Style, sustainability and price are totally irrelevant to me since my only concern is that it is effective, durable, well made, comfortable and easy to use.
Ultimately a comfortable and durable product is most important because it will be something used frequently and I prefer practical products over stylish ones
A baby carrier needs to be of more comfort for both child and mother because, on most occasions, when carrying the baby, extra care is important and this cannot be achievable if both the child and the mother they are uncomfortable.
I think the item needs to be functional, cool, and comfortable for mom and baby. This is the most important.
I use a baby carrier that I've used for many years with three different children, and I think being comfortable is most important. Price isn't a big factor as long as it's durable enough that you never need to replace it, which mine is. I use it a lot for hiking, but I don't feel that suitability for hiking specifically is important.
Always need to make sure the baby is comfortable.
Ease of use and comfort are definitely the most important factors.
I would choose comfort as number one every single time. If the baby is not comfy and the mom is not comfy then they will hate using the product.
quality and easy to use should always be first priority then the materials which they made it of then its design and color and I think should be with second choice then come the price and I think the last two choices should be with the fourth choice
I look for something that is easy to use and comfortable for my child and me. Quality is definitely more important than price

C, A and B are the best and would make me buy a carrier more. I love how durable it is.

I think having a durable and earth friendly option is the most important thing to me

I just want something easy to use. Sustainability does not matter as much to me, just that it is easy to utilize.
If it is not simple to use and fast to take on and off, I wouldn't even bother with it.
I ranked in the order that the product attributes matter to me.
dealing with a child is already tough enough and busy enough, so having something that is easy to use and easy to set up is of the highest importance to me and something I look for so i can save time
Functionality & cuteness is what I look for in a carrier over price. I care less about price when it comes to ease of use and portability.
I selected option E because it is the most important feature listed. It has to be easy to use otherwise I won't purchase it. Also it must be easy to adjust preferably with one hand. The carrier also must be high quality and comfortable for me and the baby to use. Although not listed, safety would be my number one feature. The other options are good also but I don't really care about the price of the carrier but I do care about safety.
Ease of use will always be the first feature I consider when making such a purchase. Buying a product that stresses one seem unwise.
E is tops for me as an disabled parent. The easier it is to use the better!
I dislike having to struggle with adjustments for a baby carrier. I also would prefer to have something that is durable.
I voted for E, G, B, and C as these are the most important for choosing carriages for my children. We tried the affordable models 25 years ago and they broke within months. The better parts are in the more expensive products. F through D are not in my list but I had to select them to finish it.
I believe ease of use and how sturdy it is for outdoor use are the most important attributes because that would be the biggest concerns I would have with it. Having success in those areas means I will enjoy using it more.
Ease of use is easily the most important, some are so complicated.
Ease of use and quality are most important for me. Those would be at the top of my list and the other factors would not be as important if the other two aspects are there and what I would expect.
I have two toddlers and overwhelmingly I care about ease of use, so Option E is by far my favorite. Option B is also very important as if I know my child is comfortable I can relax. Options D & G are also quite relative with the design and quality both being attributes that are a must. The remaining options are perfectly fine but not as eye catching and some, like sustainability, do not even enter my head.
With 3 kids I would like something affordable and stylish but most important easy to use. With young kids at home I need to be able to get carrier on quick to address needs of other kids. Good quality is less of a priority than price because it is my last child and I will be getting rid of it after
E is my first choice because as a mom with a baby, easy, fast and effective is the best option. I chose the last, letter A, because it’s not relevant to my mind when needing to have the most comfortable and easy support for the baby.
E - ease of use - far and away the most important when I was a new mom. It was intimidating to use the others and also it was annoying. D - I have to like the style! It's a must or I wont buy, period. B - I think the easier it feels when I'm using it, the more I'll feel like it's high quality and a good buy. F - I would be looking for a deal and something that balanced well with quality. I don't think any strollers are dangerous. G - that said, if something cost a little more and I really liked it because it hit all of the notes above, I would spend more. A and C, not important to me, I'm not very focused on sustainability.

I definitely care about the quality the most. I want the best when I am taking care of my child. I don't want to sacrifice anything for that. I also want it to be comfortable for me and for the child. We don't want to hurt ourselves. Some of these things can be difficult to use too so I want ease of use high on the list
I don't really care about the price or the sustainability. I want an easy to use product that is durable and can be used anywhere.
I think the quality would make the stroller get more use, so that's why I ranked it highest.
Keeping my baby safe is most important to me so [G] appeals to me.
I care more about ergonomics and quality since I want to make sure my baby is comfortable and that this carrier will be durable and easy to use.
When it comes down to anything, quality quality quality. Especially for something regarding my child. I will always get best quality for her.
I definitely want the best quality of a product for my child. I am willing to pay higher prices to ensure that the product is of high quality which is why I ranked Option G (quality over price) as my number one choice. Secondary, but equally important is the comfortability or ergonomic design. As parents we need things that will be comfortable for us but it should be equally comfortable for the baby. These are two things I wouldn't budge on when selecting a product like this.
I am more concern about quality than price. This should be priority.
To me quality and price must meet at the middle and are by far the most important features i consider.
I really care about the quality of the product. I don't want the baby to be hurt. It should be easy and comfortable to use also for safety.
I think that quality is the most important thing, followed by how easy the product is to use and how well it works. Thus, I rated option G as most reflective of my preferences.
Mostly the only thing I cared about when picking my stroller for my daughter was safety, the quality of the product, the baby's comfort and ease of putting her in and getting her out and folding and unfolding the stroller. I didn't mind paying extra for a quality stroller.
Safety and quality are the number one importance and should always be the number one. While recycled products feel good to purchase safety will be number 1. You cannot put a price on safety which is why price is the last option. It also needs to be easy to use to properly secure a child. It can look nice, but it should be quality, safe, and easy to use.
I value quality, efficiency and design above price or stuff like sustainability.
Having a quality product is always important to me. Being comfortable with what I’m putting my child in has to be top priority. Without the peace of mind of him or her being safe, I won’t even use a product. Also having something that’s comfortable and easy for me and my wife to use is very necessary. I don’t want to struggle to assemble a seat when we are out somewhere with the kids.
Quality would always come first because i want to feel like my child is always safe over save a few dollars.
