Which title is best for a reimagining of Sleeping Beauty? When the fairy's sleeping curse threatens everything Indigo has worked to build, she sets out on an epic adventure and uses her talent for barter to save the day and earn her own happy ending.
Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 26 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

I think Patchwork Dreams is the best combination of simplicity and intrigue, while also relating to the material. Spin is interesting but gives the audience no clue as to what it might be about on its own. I think C is a bit too long of a title, while D just doesn't sound very good to me, as I'm not sure "precarious" fits very well as the adjective to use.
I've got to be honest, I wasn't a fan of any of them. I chose A to be #1 because the title "Patchwork Dreams" seems to fit in with the storyline of starting from patchwork and dreaming your way into happy endings, so I definitely think its the winner. B is second because its a nice short title, and I think one word titles are catchy and easier to remember. D is okay I guess, it didn't seem to fit the storyline at all to me though. C sounds like the title to a horror novel.
A and D are short and straight to the point while also tying into the premise.
I dont like any of them honestly
The title "Patchwork Dreams" is the one that has just a bit of a horror feel to it as well a hint of mystery. Out of the different choices, this is the one that is easiest to remember and sounds most like a movie title.
I like the idea of patchwork dreams because it sounds like someone in trouble putting the pieces of her life back together to create something beautiful. Precarious dreams is evocative and my second favorite because it gives the story hint of danger which is always exciting. Sweet dreams and lucid nightmares is kind of interesting but so long. Spin is just kind of obscure and I'm assuming refers to the spinning wheel Sleeping Beauty pricks her finger on, which I think a lot of people don't know about or forget about, so this title might be confusing.
Patchwork Dreams is by far the best. It sounds self made/home made.
I liked A and D the most as they sound the best for the premise given. I then voted for B as it is just too simple. I voted for C last as is sounds kind of scary and I didn't like it.
I feel like this one can be the ones that is most understood.
a - i like the simplicity of it - its easy to remember, eye catching and makes sense. it would be like a patchwork of efforts to restore her dream.d - i like how its precarious - its a nice describing factor that helps give you an insight into the storyline. c - its a bit long - but appropriate. it might be hard to remember. b - it doesnt really relate to it at all
Option B has no relation to the story at all, option A is the best sounding idea.
Options A and D have the best sound to them. Spin doesn't really make sense for the storyline. Option C isn't bad, but it makes it sound more like a scary story.
A comes first because Patchwork Dreams is sweet, simple, and compelling. I like Spin second, again because it is simple & catchy, and also it plays into the "spinning" theme of Sleeping Beauty. C is OK, but it is sort of long and not catchy to me. I really don't like D. The word "precarious" is sort of hard to understand and just makes me uncomfortable, less likely to want to read!
Patchwork Dreams sounds more like a complete title. Precarious Dreams is a little long for me, Spin is boring, and Sweet Dreams and Lucid Nightmares is way too wordy and long.
Option A is the easiest and doesn't seem to give away too much of the premise.
most intruiging

I chose option B because the title is short and to the point. It is easy to imagine what the story will relate to.
B) Spin - I think it's very on trend to have YA book names with just one word titles. Like Cinder, Scarlett, Divergent, Legacy, etc. So I think that sounds the most catchy and appealing for that audience. I like reading YA books personally, and that one sounds like it fits together.C) I didn't like the other 3 choices. Sweet Dreams and Lucid Nightmares, to me doesn't make sense. Because lucid dreaming means you're supposed to control what happens in the dream, so in a lucid nightmare, couldn't you control it not to be in a nightmare?A) Patchwork Dreams, sounds more like the little match girl, then it does sleeping beauty. D) Precarious Dreams sounds to me, like a wattpad submission.
I chose B first, because "Spin" seems to call back to the idea of her pricking her finger on a spinning wheel, which connects in a less obvious way to the original story. I chose C next, because it flows well, and suggests both good and bad moments. I chose A over D for third, because I think it has a nice flow to it.
I love strong, impactful one-word titles, so B absolutely does it for me. Quippy two-word titles are a runner up, but they're not as powerful. A is a nice aesthetic, but D sounds much more mystical and ethereal, so I like it more. C doesn't sound very exciting of a name and if anything it just brings to mind the song "Sweet Dreams."
Spin can take on a whole new meaning and a twist to the normal unfolding of the events of the original script
The title that is best for a reimagining of Sleeping Beauty is without a doubt Spin. Book title trends that are selling right now are one word titles and Spin plays on the spindle AND a reimagining--a new spin--on a timeless story.
I think titles overall need to be short. I think that longer title do not stick with people and they tend to forget them.
I really like the nice short name. The title is short, sweet, and catchy.
I like option B, it's creative and kind of mysterious in a good way. Options A and D just seem very boring to me. Option C seems too dark and in my opinion doesn't fit the subject matter.

I think option c, sweet dreams and lucid nightmares is the best title to fit the summary
B is very generic, and I would avoid that one. C and D are rather nice titles, but don't really fit the story even if they're the best here. A is okay, but doesn't really fit either, so lower ranked.
Option C is a very catchy title and matches what this movie will be about almost perfectly
I think this is the most unique title of the four provided. I like the strong opposites in the title, it draws a lot of emotion out of it.
My top 2 names fit and stick out in my opinion. They are both the ones that would entice me to read it.
I like the "two sides of the same coin", symmetry, yin/yang aspect of option C. I think it's clever and memorable. I just wonder if it might be too long. Of course, you can't shorten it without losing its completeness. I chose B because it's short and snappy. A and D are basically the same to me, but D lost out because I'm not sure "Precarious" is a word that belongs in a book title that you want people to remember.
C is the best definition for what will happen. D and A are good but patchwork sounds weird.
C is an amazing title and I would buy it with no synopsis, sight unseen just based on the title alone.
C is descriptive and has a good rhythm. B is too generic and also more likely to make people think of Rumpelstiltskin instead of Sleeping Beauty.
I liked C the most since it makes me wonder about what kind of story I'll be experiencing.

D is mysterious and compelling. Perfect for a retelling. / A does not invoke fantasy too much, but the dream theme relates well to Sleeping Beauty. / B is a short and abstract connection to sleeping beauty - the spindle. Not immediately compelling or interesting, but brief and easy to remember. Good word play on a "spin" of a modern fairy tale. / This title is long and kitchy. Seems trying to hard to be fantasy.
This has the most unique name that could easily be a title for this
I like the short and simple titles which is why I picked D and A first. I picked C over B because I didn't feel that the title name in B described the movie very well.
Precarious Dreams works best for a Sleeping Beauty remake or spin off. The tltle is fitting and follows the original title well and fluidly.
Options D and C describe the story well. A and B are too vague.
I like D because it makes me think of the possibilities with the dream.I like A because of pathwork making it feel its work in progress.I like B because it is simple and easy to remember.I like C because it makes you think of deep meaningful dreams.
Choice D is my top pick because I like how the name could refer to different things. It could be a reference to the dreams that Sleeping Beauty is having and the state that she is in. At the same time it can also refer to Indigo's dreams and how they are in a bad spot because everything that she has worked to build in in danger and on the edge of falling apart. Choice B is second to me because it makes reference to the spinning wheel that Sleeping Beauty pricks her finger on that causes her to fall asleep. It just sounds to me like the type of title that a modern reimaging of this old take would take as its title since it is short and catchy. Choice C was third because I like it better then Choice A. That's really it. The title is just too long in my opinion and is too clashing for me with the different concepts in it. Choice A is last because patchwork is not something that I associate with the tale of Sleeping Beauty whether it is in the form or dreams or not.
I do not care for any of them to be honest. They don't seem to fit, particularly "Spin", which makes me think of Rumplestilskin.
I think option B is the best because it makes it seem that in the story things could go either good or bad. Like something is hanging in the balance, which makes it sound much more exciting.
The word precarious makes me think this story will be strange and interesting. The choice of vocabulary feels like it will be a well told story.
I think that option D is by far the most interesting and appealing name for a reimagining of Sleeping Beauty out of these four options. However, I don't think any of these four options come close to the appeal and nostalgia of the original title.
Option D I thought had the most intriguing title. Option A was good too but a bit less impactful or intriguing. Option C I ranked third because it felt a bit too long in comparison to option d and a.Option B didn't really fit with the book's description as well which is why I ranked it last.
choice d is the best to me. it makes the most sense to go with the story. b is the worst becuase i do not get what that has to do with sleeping beauty.
It is probably a tie for Option D and A for me because I think both of those fit the description better. Option C is a little long of a title and Option B is very odd and has nothing to do with the description.
Precarious dreams sounds the most intriguing. Sweet Dreams and Lucid Nightmare's doesn't really make me think of fairies but is still very intriguing as well. Patchwork dreams sounds a bit odd but still includes the concept of dreams. Spin has no ties to the concept.
