Based on the 180 vs. 90 degree designs of the Recessed D-Ring Tie Down Anchors, which product would you rather buy and why?
34 Responses to Option A
It's nice to see that the hinge has a place to lie back
I prefer the design of Choice A for the most part
Having more mobility is always good with tie-downs, I find that 90 degree ones that have hard stops also tend to break easier.
I prefer 180-degree/A. I feel I would have more control/options in terms of functionality.
I think I would rather buy Option A. It looks like the D ring can go onto either side which would make the product a little more flexible in terms of usage.
This seems like it would have more range and flexibility so I prefer that option
It seems more useful.
A would be easy to use since there is room to maneuver it.
Option A you can see it in the locked and unlocked position.
I like choice A because the quality of the product looks better in the image.
I'm not familiar with this product at all but I'd go with option A because it makes more sense to me
This product is displayed in a way that's both attractive and simple, yet it commands attention because of the basic nature of the design - it just works.
i would rather buy optoin a. i think that this would give some pull and lee way and be more useful.
I choose A because it gives you more room.
Looks like it would be less fiddly to get the ring out of the hole
I want to see as much as possible to make my decision.
I can see more of this one and it looks clearer and because I can see more of it It just looks better-- it looks sturdy, high quality, etc
Easier access and more room to slip my fingers through in order to get a good grip
I think I would rather buy option A. I feel like I can see more of the product with option A.
I prefer option A. I chose this option since the image give me an idea of how the anchor looks at a 180 degree. This allows me to fully see how large the ring is.
Feels like it would be multifunctional. Although I've never needed one that folded either way I would probably find a use for it.
I chose A because I like the three attachments on each side. I think this would make for a stronger product. There would be less of a chance of detachment with this product.
I am choosing A because if there is ever an issue with the ring itself (maybe it gets stuck etc...) then there is that extra space to help correct it, Option B looks really tight. I also like that no matter what direction the ring falls, it will fall flat - as opposed to Option B which will stay propped up if it doesn't naturally fall in the one direction.
A is much more flexible in being able to move.
180 would give you more flexability in which direction you use the tie down. I can see that being a great feature.
I would rather buy option A as it is more versatile and offers a wider range of potential uses/angles.
I liked that this option showed that the ring was actually fully recessed.
Option B looks far too squished together, option A seems like it would be much more forgiving to use.
I prefer the 180. I like that it would lay flat when moved in the opposite direction. It looks better and feels safer.
I prefer this option because it seems more sturdy and reliable than the other option
Choice A seems more versatile to me. That ring can take on twice as many positions
I do not know much about this product but the area on my first choice look easier to navigate.
These seem to have more room around them which would allow for additional hooks and thicker lines to be used
This one looks like it is more flexible and stronger.

The metal that is used for this hook is nice for this view
option B looks more durable and longer lasting in my opinion
I feel that B is more compact and the small extra range of motion in A isn’t particularly useful.
This looks like it would have the capability of snapping open and closed easily
I would rather B because I think that the 90 degrees is more stable. The 180 degrees is just too much. I think A is bad because of this.
I picked B because it has a little bit more support than option A. Option A is a bit loose
It much real life application and it make choose that second one.
I would pick B, because if I want a stronger one I would pick this, because it wont move and much more stronger because it's only 80degree and wont go down and up.
i think this one might be less prone to breaking or having issues in the long run
I like option B a little more because it looks like a sturdier than option A.
I chose 'B' because its more compact and therefore seems more convenient and versatile for setup.
I would prefer to buy the option B product image because the 90 degree tie-down anchor is more sturdy looking and is more compact than the 180 degree option A anchor.
This option looks stronger and more put together.
I like this one because it seems like it is more sturdy and unable to move more than the other option.
I HONESTLY DO NOT HAVE A PREFERENCE
i like anchor
