Which book holder would buy?
Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 26 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
C | 52% 26 votes |
A | 38% 19 votes |
B | 10% 5 votes |

I like the ones with a little stylish detail
They all look fine and do the job nicely, I just like the designs of these ones better
I like the ones with the cutouts. The more cutouts the better. I think that will lighten the holder and make it easier to move around. I also like the nice wide shelf on the bottom of A.
I would buy A because I like the cutouts in it. I think it looks good even empty. C is alright, but a little boring. I don't like B at all because it looks kind of odd to me.
I like the design on each side as opposed to all the way through. It allows it to be seen while the book is open and on the holder. I prefer B over C as I think having vending in the back will help, especially if you are using this someplace where the humidity is high.
A looks like it has the right dimensions to fit a book better than C and maybe with the design you could turn the pages easier on A compared to B but not sure how that would work
the geometric design is really cute, the last choice is kind of boring and flat
For me, given the option, the neat pattern and design draws my eyes in and makes me want to buy the one with the coolest pattern. it's honestly about aesthetics for me. A has an interesting cut out pattern that speaks to me. B also has a neat design and I enjoy the personalization that comes with designs. finally, C, is kind of basic to me. It's not particularly interesting because it's so simple without any patterns or designs. It would be nice to add stickers to, but doesn't do much for me design wise.
I like the designs better than the plain one as is option C. Option A looks more feminine as option B seems masculine.
I like option A best due to its intricate and pleasing design, B second due to its design, but not as much as A. C comes in last due to the fact that its design is too plain, and resembles more a cutting board.
A is unique and attractive. B also is unique.
I prefer option A and then B because the designs are more interesting and aesthetically pleasing while Option C is rather boring and looks like a cutting board for bread.
Choice A is the most attractive, and has a smooth design that won't damage the book. Choice C would damage books the least (no pages catching on the carvings) but it is quite unattractive. However, I rated it higher than choice B because choice B would be damaging to a paperback book.
I like the design that Option A has. It gives an elegant look to the board and makes it look nicer for displaying. I do NOT like the giant brand name in Option C, which is why I ranked that one last.
If they are all the same price, I would go with A because it has a cool design so it looks nice when not in use
I like the design in A the best. It stands out the most and is the most visually appealing.
3 looks like a really creepy face.never would i pick that one
I like the cut out design of A because it looks very unique and I would definitely buy that holder.
I like the design of A the best and B second best. The solid one without a design I like the least.

While all options look to be similar in functionality, Option B has the most appealing style. Option A is attractive and looks a little "techy". Option C looks like a cutting board.
After carefully studying all three images of book holder pictured above, I selected Option B as my first preference because it was the image that first caught my attention and really stood out from the other two images. Option A was my second choice followed by Option C based on their relative attractiveness and my willingness to buy them.
I really like option B because I think that the spaces in the board would be very helpful to hold the pages of the book. Whenever I am reading and I try to place my book somewhere, oftentimes the pages of the book will flip or the book will close. For that reason alone, I would be very inclined to pick option B over any of the other options.
I chose option B since it might be the lightest option due to the removal of the extra material. I like the liner routing better than the geometric designs of option A. Option C looks like it would be rather sturdy due to the angle of the photo shows the depth of the black kick stand.
I really like the design of B. I think it was well crafted and well thought out.

I liked the plain one the best, and the one with giant holes in tit the worst
i like this one because the others have unnecessary features included on the sides
The plain one looks the nicest but I wish it didn't have the company's name wood-burned into it. I really dislike the one with the very large rectangular cutouts, it looks cheap. I am neutral on option A, it looks okay.
I chose option C because it looks to be the easiest to clean. The others have open space designs that would be a pain to dust.
They all look cool, but I like the sleek simplicity of C the best. The woodgrain is really attractive, and having a simple physical design highlights that.
I like the more basic designs. I wouldn't want my book snagging on the cutouts.
I like C the best because it's the simplest and sleekest looking. B is kind of cool because it reminds me of a speaker, and the design on A is interesting, but for a book holder, I think the simpler, the better.
Option C is the most reasonable. If I'm actively reading I can't see the design so it shouldn't matter. A is second because it's only slightly fancy. Option B is last because it looks like a speaker and is over the top.
I selected Option C as my first choice because it was solid. I feel the designs of the other two could be distracting while reading. I selected Option A over Option B because I liked the book holder better. The clasps in Option A seemed stronger than Option B.
I like option C the best because I feel like it is the most simple and is not trying to be more than what it is, which is just a book holder.
I chose Option C as my top pick because I really like the clean, simplicity with the lack of cutout patterns. It appeals to me and I like looking at it. Really it has not bearing on its useability without or without the holes. It's just my preference. I went with Option B as my second pick because although it has cutout patterns, I like how the pattern resembles a radio with speakers (to me anyway). I like Option A the least because the cutout hole pattern doesn't appeal to me at all.
I picked option C as my top choice, but really it would be my only choice. I like the simple and classic solid wood versus options A and B. I don't see a need to have a pattern carved into the wood.
I like the simple look of my top pick. I find it more appealing and attractive than the other ones.
Choice c looks lean and has the least amount of grooves that will collect dust and dirt. Choice b while having grooves, is better than choice a as it at least has a few extra holding features
Option C is the most plain of the choices. I think option B looks more normal than A. The design of A is a little bit too outlandish for me.
I think choice C looks the best, it is plain, looks sturdy, and also looks like it is the highest quality of the three. I didn't really care for designs in choices A and B.
I prefer ones without holes because they are harder to clean
At first I didn't know what I was looking at, and thought it was some kind of game or something. When I read it was a book holder I was shocked, because for whatever reason 2 of these are just plain ugly and serve no benefit for holding books, so C is easily my first choice.
I like the minimal desgin. The other ones have some distraction to them.
I picked c because it is the most solid of the options.
I would rather there be no design in the wood since I think it looks much cleaner and high-quality without the extra cuts in it. I feel like the cuts make it just look cluttered, especially in the one where they are horizontal lines.
Option C appears to be the most "solid" and sturdy in construction able to support a variety of book types and sizes without risk of falling over. Option A is second most sturdy and does offer the decorative cutouts in the wood which makes it nice to look at even when its not holding a book. Option B is least desirable. having a design that makes me question its strength via it having too many cutouts and it thus appears thin and breakable.
I would prefer not to have tiered holes in the product here for the most part.
I would like my book holder to be as plain as possible. There is no need for a fancy design on something that just holds your book.
Option one, aka C, is best because it looks like a book holder. I honestly wouldn't want any holes in my book holder either. I do not like the metal page holders at all on any of them.
I do not like the "holes" in the wood. The uncut wood looks sturdier and more appealing.
