Which would you rather purchase as a bath toy for a toddler: a waterproof light that sinks to the bottom of the tub or one that floats? (The diamond one sinks and the circular one floats. Please ignore the design and just think about functionality)

looks interesting and cool
I think the diamond that floats to the bottom would be cool to have in the tub. It would be a great entertainment while playing in the tub.
I prefer floating since there isn't a lot of water in the tub so sinking wouldn't go down that far.
Option B is a very plan shape. Option A is interesting and unique and fun. I would also much prefer one that sinks as most bath toys float, so the sinking toy would be cool to splash around with.
I think having one that sinks will show a cooler color and have a greater light effect than one that floats.
I think that a sinking toy would be more fun for them to search for. Most toys float so just another floating toy isn't that special.
Option A has much more complexity involved. Option B was so much more modest
Choice A is more appealing because of the shape. It has the type of shape a person would want to grab.
It's a better look

The float one is probably more enjoyable for the child - and it is reachable - keeps him/her occupied longer.
Originally, I chose A because I thought it was more aesthetically pleasing. But, when thinking about a bath toy for a toddler, toddlers are going to want to see they toy and play with it which means the floating item is the best which is B.
I would absolutely prefer a toy that floats. I prefer toys that don't encourage my toddler to go underwater. That doesn't feel safe at all.
anything that floats to the bottom for a kids toy might not be a good idea especially in a bath tub that can be where a child goes unnoticed
prefer the option that floats easier to see
A floaty toy would be more appealing for a toddler.
One that sinks is dangerous; they may try and stick their head underwater to find it.
I would buy one that sinks so it lights up the whole tub and would be great in a set with different colored lights. I think it would be more fun for the child and keep them busy while getting washed up by the parent.
I would get the one that floats because they would see it more and it also has a brighter look which I like more.
For a toddler's bath toys, I rather have something that floats in the water versus something that sinks. I feel it's more of a health hazard thing for something to sink because they may try to go underwater to grab it.
I would prefer one that floats because that is much safer in the bath for a toddler than one that could potentially lead a toddler to go underwater.
I think the functionality of this one would be the best over Option A because it seems reliable.
I would rather have this one if its the one that floats. I know for sure it would be the one that my kids get the most enjoyment with. They wouldnt be too keen on one that sinks
Would like to buy option B which is floating on the sink for attractive for kids
I would want the one that floats. I would not want to encourage my toddler to go under the water for safety reasons. I also think they would have more fun playing with the light that floats.
I would buy choic B that floats. Choice A, makes me nervous, that the child may try to pet their head under the water to view the toy better. That's a big hazard.
I would definitely think a kid would prefer a light that floats by far from a light that sinks.
I would prefer the product image of "B" the blue light that floats. This way a child can play with it under the water ( and let it rise to the top) or they can just play around with it in the the water and always have it available for them. At least that is how I's preferr it, if I were a child.
I like the idea of each type of bath toy. If I could only pick one, I would pick B, because it floats. I think that a toy that sinks, the toddler would forget get about it. Out of sight, out of mind. If the bath toy floats, it will always be in the toddler's sight.
I like the one that floats because it is more fun for the kid to play with by trying to push it down in the water and watching it come back up.
I choose B because the kids can use the floating toy to play with their other toys, or put bubbles on it and make it more enjoyable. They can also use it as a learning tool to learn about volume (how much the toy can hold) and weight (why it floats).
I would rather have a toy that floats. Part of the fun of being in the bathtub for children is playing with toys and in the bathtub it is more fun if a toy will float than if it will sink. I would also think that it is a lot safer for the child if they do not have to reach for a toy that is under the water especially if there is bubbles in the water, then the child cannot see the toy under the water
Probably one that floats. The baby would be better able to attempt to grasp and grap at this item vs one that sinks. Plus, there's always the concerns about having the baby possibly drown.
Unique and engaging to look at
A toddler would have a hard time finding the toy after it sank. He would have no problem playing with the floating one.
I’d want one that floats so that my toddler doesn’t try to submerge into the water.
i think the one that floats would be good then toddler could play with it o top of water
I like the floating toy better because of two reasons. First, I think it would be safer because the toddler wouldn't have to try to get the toy from deep in the bath water, possibly putting their head under. And second, I think the floating toy would be more interactive and entertaining because they would push it underwater and it would continually rise back to the top to be done again.
I think a floating toy is more highly desirable than a sinking toy. a sinking toy could also become a little bit of a problem with a child splashing about in that it could poke or prod a child uncomfortably. The floating toy would bounce and jostle around in a bath and probably be more fun with that quality.
I think the toy lighting up the floor of the tub would be way cooler and more fun for a child than one that just floats around.
I would choose the one that floats because it would look better on the top of the water I believe.
I like the one that float because my kids can play with it easier
Floating would be more fun in the bathtub than one that sinks.
the one that floats, it would be more attractive to toddlers and I don't want my toddler going under water to get the toy
I think a floating bath toy would be best
I would prefer it float - I would be scared of my child going underwater to retrieve it if it was at the bottom
I would choose option B because I think kids would have more fun playing with a toy that floats vs a toy that sinks like option A.
I think a floating toy would be easier for a child to play with
I think the kids would like the floating one more because if they push it under the water it will come back to the surface of the water.
Without a doubt I would pick the one that floats. I would still purchase the one that sticks to the bottom of the tub if that was the only one available the one that floats would definitely be a lot more fun for the kids and they would definitely be able to play a lot more with it than just something that sticks there. also if you get one that floats you come over to the pool outside and or in a bowl is a lot more variance as to what you can use it for. plus if you buy the one that floats around you can buy for 5 and create a whole different luminescence in the bathtub
I like choice B because the product sounds more appealing to a child than one that sinks. When children play in the tub they want to see the product and playing with one that sinks makes it harder to find if it sinks and there is usually soap and subs from their bath making it harder to find. A product that floats is more appealing and fun sounding.
