Based on the product name "Recycled Laptop Backpack" on an Amazon listing, which best describes the product you would expect to receive?
88 Responses to Option A
I just like the term "new" more.
I definitely expect it to be made from recycled materials, especially coming from Amazon.
I would expect to receive something recycled with this description rather than something someone has already used.
I don't think of "recycled" as a pre-used item. I think of it as one that uses recycled materials to create a new product.
Because it just says recycled, I assume recycled materials more than actual recycled fabric specifically.
This is how I understand this product name to be defined just based off of the information provided here.
A. This is common from a lot of companies to have it upcycled rather than second hand.
i assume that the bookbag would simply be made from recycled materials.
I'd be expecting to receive a brand-new, unused backpack made from recycled materials. I think the name makes that clear enough.
I wouldn't expect to be getting a second-hand backpack.
I chose this as I would not expect to be buying used products on Amazon unless it was from the warehouse section
I think that is used enough in everyday life that people understand it is made with recycled materials
I like choice A the best. I love that it has all the details.
I would expect the backpack to be brand new and not used. Just because it says "recycled", doesn't mean it was used before. I believe that refers to being made with recycled materials.
It makes more sense for recycled. I take recycled as new not used.
Usually I would think refurbished if it was a used product but recycled implies more recycled material
I would think that it was a new backpack made from recycled materials.
I'm assuming recycled materials to make the cloth at least in the backpack.
I would always prefer new when it comes to a backpack when given a choice.
I am thinking it is going to be made from recycled material as it if was not it was going to say used or refurbished.
I don't expect to receive used goods when I see the word recycled, I think of the material that the product was made from.
i imagine , if its sold on amazon, it would be a new product.
This seems to be the trend with a lot of products by recycling scraps to make something new.
I would expect to receive a new recycled backpack. Usually products like that on Amazon are not already used.
I like option A the best because I like that it states its made from recycled materials.
I would choose choice A because the descriptions is better than choice B although the choice B has more details but A has more straight point than B.
I would expect to receive A. I would hope so, anyway.
If I was buying a new product, I would expect it to be new, and recycled if that is what I chose.
It doesn’t use the word used in the description , so that wouldn’t be my initial thought towards the product.
I think it should be new and made from recycling materials
Option B gives very old product feel ,but option A gives a feel of new product
Based on the product name "Recycled Laptop Backpack" on an Amazon listing, which best describes the product you would expect to receive?- I could see either of these options being applicable, but I really think about a bag made from recycled materials and reconstructed, rather than a second-hand bag. And that is exactly what I would call the description from Product B - a second hand item.
I would expect to receive A brand-new, unused backpack made from recycled materials on option as it captures my attention.
If I was buying something like this from amazon I would expect a new item. Recycled to me means that it is made from recycled materials.
Recycled makes me think the materials are recycled not the actual item itself.
Having recycled in the description is very important and technically it is a new back pack. Option B is not really an accurate description.
I chose A because the item does not stated "used". Therefore I would expect a new item made from recycled materials.
A brand new devise is the best.
It sounds like a new product made from recycled materials. It does not imply it it used by the choice of words.
When I see the word recycled it makes me think something is made of recycled material, no doubts.
Recycled to me does not mean used. I would call that reused.
I prefer something more unique that only I will have had.
I would expect a used backpack to have the word "used" in the product description. Recycled implies it is made out of recycled material.
First off, I don't think Amazon sells secondhand products. Also, the phrase "Recycled Laptop Back" means to me that it's new made from recycled materials.
I prefer a new product that has not been damaged
I wouldn't expect to buy a used product on Amazon
I chose A because if I were to read the word "recycled" I would assume that it had been renewed or reworked. If nothing had been done to the item then it would just be used or second hand.
Based on the product name "Recycled Laptop Backpack" on an Amazon listing, what best describes the product I would expect to receive is Choice A, A brand-new, unused backpack made from recycled materials. If it was a second-hand or used backpack you would say it's used, or gently used.
When I think of recycled, I think of making something new out of something old. Therefore, I would expect a new bag made from recycled materials. I think I would be upset if I got someone's used backpack.
I think of recycled as new, but from materials that have been recycled. I don;t think of something that is pre-owned
I like the idea of this one better than the used one, even though recycled, it would feel new.
I feel like you only find Option B in resale or rummage stores, with the exception of niche online/brick and mortar stores. Option A is the only logical option.
I would expect and HOPE to receive a new backpack from recycled materials.
I would hope that I would be getting a new backpack that was made from recycled materials.
This his described as a recycled item, but not used, so Option A would be best. Option B implies that it's just a second hand cast off from someone that may or may not be damaged.
Used products are not usually sold on Amazon so I wouldn't be expecting to receive a used product.
I chose option A because the backpack product name does not mention that it was owned by anyone before, so it would be brand new.
Based on the product name and information I was given. I would expect A for my item. I only say that because I have common sense and I know the item wouldn't be used. And I know it would be brand new.
I would definitely expect to get a new backpack made of used and recycled materials.
Based on my experience looking at products whose title leads with recycled, it implies that the materials used to make the product have been repurposed to make this item.
This description makes more sense and matches the title more.
I would think that the backpack would be made from recycled materials. I normally think of used products as refurbished or used, recycled means new material from old things.
I think of a product made from recycled materials because I don't think many people would buy a used backpack.
I chose choice A since in today's world repurposing products are necessary and trendy. Choice B sounds unappealing with getting a product that is used and second hand.
Typically I would expect a new product made from recycled materials.
I would definetly not be thinking that the bookbag would be made out of used fabrics. That doesn't sound very clean.
I think A sounds most appealing because not only is it brand new but it is also made using recycled materials. I like to use recycled products any time I can to help the environment
i wouldnt get into too many specifics about recycled content. People would ask more questions about specifics.
I would assume it means the MATERIALS are recycle, not the actual laptop.
I would expect to receive an item made from recycle materials. If it was a used one, I would expect a description that mentioned preowned or used.
I would expect option A the best. I think recycled materials would make a great bag
My choice is option A because of the product made by the content of recycled materials with new brand backpack compare than other product this is very attractive .
I would hope that it would be new and unused, just made of recycled materials.
I would expect "recycled" to indicate materials that have been reused to make it.
I chose A because if an item is used and the seller is selling the item is "used condition" - they generally do not use the term "Recycled". Instead, they will say "Pre-Owned backpack" or "Gently Used Backpack". I do not believe they would use the term "Recycled Backpack".
I would expect it to be recycled material.
The BRAND NEW , that word gives more classy look to a product and it will attract the consumers to take a look on it . So that , I prefer to the option A .
I do not expect used items on Amazon, and I think it might be more accurate to use the word repurposed because recycled implies some process or transformation.
I generally think of used/second-hand products as being called "used" or "gently loved" or some other euphemism, but not "recycled." A is what I expect unless the name included "used" or something along those lines.
I would prefer to receive B, but A is what I would EXPECT from the product listing.
If I was to purchase this from Amazon, I really wouldn't expect to receive a used backpack. I would expect that this would be a backpack made of recycled materials.
I would expect this for the product because I have never seen anything on Amazon where you bought a second hand/used item from that site
I think recycled is different from secondhand or refurbished.
I would expect it to be new and not used even though its recycled.
I like A because it tells me what the backpack is in a simple way. I would buy one described as A
I thought it was a quality product
I would rather have something new.
This option seems like a more durable and reliable product I like the simplicity of the description and that it uses recycled materials

i would expect to receive the product in option B based on the description of it
Recycled to me in this case means that it is getting a new life after being used.
I would expect if it were new and made of recycled materials it would go out of its way to say so.
B is very clearly what one should expect.
I prefer Option B as my first choice. The terminology sounds much more that it's a used laptop backpack. It's a bit of a tongue twister as well. I took it to me that it's recycled as in used not as in recycled materials made into something new.
I would expect it to be a gentle used backpack that was refurbished or use to make a new backpack.
I feel like Option B better describes the kind of product you would be expecting from a name like that.
I would prefer a new backpack made from recycled materials, but the text here makes me think of a used backpack that has been cleaned or re-habbed.
Recycled I assume means materials that is made from and or already used istem
my first thought was that it was a used backpack or at least a backpack with used materials from another back pack but i guess it could honestly be either one.
I feel like the product would be new, but it would be recycled material being used
If it recycled I make the assumption that all or part of what I'm getting has been used.
