Which car air freshener would you buy?
Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 27 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
B | 42% 21 votes | 54% 27 votes +6 |
C | 30% 15 votes | 46% 23 votes +8 |

it's all about the scent first, followed by the look
I'm into modern design for my car and I want it to smell good.
I found them all equally informative.
i chose A because i would like a nice scent more than anything and a cool design is a plus
I prefer a modern design and scent is the most important part of an air freshener,
want clean and modern
I like my car air fresheners to be decorative as well as nice smelling.
I prefer a cleaner scent, and one I don't have to replace very often, over something therapeutic.
I really like Option A because it would look and smell really good. Option B is also good because car air fresheners are typically bulky and strange looking, so the ability to be smelled and not seen would be great. For Option C, I like the idea of a therapeutic aroma. Overall, I do like Option A best; that is the one I would end up buying.
modern design and scent would be most important to me when looking for a car freshner
The scent should be priority number one, followed by ecological status, and also the ability to last a long time not too far behind.
These made the most sense; I don't really care about 'eco-friendly' it's just another way to get more $
Not a fan of intense smells
When choosing a car scent, I first and foremost care about the scent, and if it is a nice design that makes it more appealing. Second is long-lasting, because I do not want to have to think about it often and would pay more for an air freshener that lasted longer. Last is eco-friendly, for while I car about the environment, a car air freshener is not something I would think about when I think of things that may be harmful to the earth.

I want a scent that stays.
I want the long lasting scent most because I don't want to have to keep buying an air freshener. Next important is the eco-friendly aspect.
I like the idea of being able to stash it away and still have it be effective.
I like it that is hidden in my car and it has a long lasting scent out of all of them.
I would prefer an air freshener that lasts as long as possible so I don't have to replace it all the time. I like being eco-friendly but I don't like it enough to make it my top choice.
I like that B can be hidden. Hopefully A doesn't smell bad. C makes me think it will stink like dirt.
I like ones that last a long time
Sometimes therapeutic scents make me sick.
I chose B as my top because I want a scent that lasts very long so I don't have to keep replacing it. I chose B as my second because the clean scent is my favorite, especially laundry. I left C last because I'm not a fan of therapeutic scents.
Option B is my top choice because it is the lowest maintenance and most cost-effective with longest lasting scent. Option A is my second choice because it seems stylish and of course a great scent is desirable. That leaves option C as the default third option. A therapuetic aroma may not be favorable to all passengers in a car, as it is a rather subjective thing.
My preference would be to have a hidden air freshener as that keeps the interior looking sharp. Next of importance is eco friendly and then modern design.
I like what can make my car smell good and be hidden.
hidden and long lasting would be a dream
No visible is ideal to have.
I want my car to have the fresh scent for a long time
I prefer air fresheners that can't be seen.
I like that "B" is hidden and the scent is long lasting. The words "therapeutic aroma" in "C" sound like it might actually be stinky or medicinal smelling.
This was the top choice based on the quality of the product.
i prefer the one you can hide but also like the ecofriendly one as well.
I like to have a fresh car, but do not like to see the freshener nor do I like to have to change often, so I picked B for number one. The clean modern design speaks to me more than the therapudic scent, so I went with A and then C
Option B was my first choice for a couple reasons. First, I like the idea of being able to hide the air freshener or at least make it more discreet looking. Second, I prefer that it has a scent that is long-lasting and may not need to be replaced often. For Option C, i liked the therapeutic portion though that was the only feature that stood out to me, which I would prefer. Finally, option A didn't seem to offer any benefits other than a great scent that would be good, but I think is implied with most air fresheners.

Eco friendliness is important in this area
I prefer that they all be hidden but I like seeing eco friendly yet have a therapeutic aroma that gives off. I think that would smell so good.
C-because the environment is the biggest issue we face /B long lasting does it for me /A Honestly who cares about a modern design on an air freshener
The only one I would actually use is the eco-friendly one. Of the other two, I care more about clean design and a pleasant scent than I do about hiding it. A long-lasting scent is only useful if it actually smells good.
made my choices based on what i would be likely to buy
My first choice is C - I much prefer a pleasant scent and eco-friendly along the lines of an essential oil. B - I don't want an air freshener that is visible. I prefer it to be hidden. A - If it was to be visible, I would want it to look nice and not be obvious or distracting in the vehicle.
Eco-friendly is important because air fresheners don't last long and I don't want to contribute to polluting the environment. Having a therapeutic aroma can help with relaxing after a long day. A clean, modern design is preferable over one that needs to be hidden.
I like the idea of one that is eco-friendly. A therapeutic aroma may be great, if it is something like lavender, that is natural and also helps calm the nerves. I selected option A second, mainly for the great scent...don't really care about the modern design. I put option B last...though I like the long-lasting scent idea, I don't care that it can be hidden away. The best of all worlds would be an eco-friendly, and therapeutic/great/natural/long-lasting scent, in a small design.
Therapeutic probably means lavender, which is ok. Clean is that ghastly white musk they use in laundry detergent, so no way on that. I have no idea what scent long lasting is.
Choice C was the best for me because not only do I love a good smell but I also find it important to do things to protect the environment. I then chose Choice B because I like the idea of the air freshener being out of sight. Choice A was my last choice because I don't care about how the air freshener itself looks.
Option C is my favorite because of the therapeutic aroma. This option sounds much healthier than the other two and, as a bonus, it's eco-friendly. Option B was my second choice because of the long-lasting scent, but it really doesn't matter if it can be hidden or not. I don't care much for modern design (I prefer vintage/retro), so Option A was my least favorite.
C works best for me because I really like aroma therapy and find it relaxing and soothing for me. I would buy this one because of this.
I'm eco friendly
#1 is C because eco-friendly is the latest fad so I want to seem like I'm eco-friendly. #2 is A because why hide it. Obviously the smell isn't part of the car so I shouldn't hide it.
I like C the best because I like the idea of it being eco friendly and I also like that it has a therapeutic aroma. It sounds like it would be a calming scent for driving, which I would like. A sounds like a good choice too because the modern design would look good in my car and I like that it has a great scent. B sounds okay and I like that the scent would be long lasting but not sure I would need it hidden.
