On which amazon product profile image would you rather click on, when looking for running reflective gear that can hold your phone. Why did you choose it?
6 Responses to Option A
It looks like it is working in the dark, so thus I know it works.
Choice A demonstrates the reflective aspect better.
While B is more close up, I can still see all of the details clearly on A. A also makes it clear that the white material on the product is reflective for night running, which is an important feature. A gives more more information about the product than B does.
I chose option A because it has more of the reflection in the picture since the model is in the shadow. It was a tough choice because at first glance, option A seemed unnatural while option B gave more of the real way the backpack would look when in use.
If I was looking for reflective gear that could hold my phone, I would want to see A as the profile image. Even though B is a closer look at the gear, A shows which parts are reflective.
I would click on this one because I wouldn't immediately think it was reflective without the darkened picture where the outline of the bag stands out.

This one looks like a real person and the other one doesn't
The other image looks too unnaturally dark and weird.
I chose B because for some reason the darkness of A made it seem somewhat fake.
I liked option B more because it did a better job of showing off the product instead of the model.
better detail of the item and doesn't look funny.
B is closer view of product and looks better
I like the pic is closer up so I can see it better.
Seeing it from a bit closer up looks better
I like Option B because the product is a lot closer so it's easier to see. I able to see more of the features and it looks like a professional picture. Option A seems to be a little bit too dark and I think that fading out the model doesn't make it look better. As a result, I like Option B a lot more than Option A which is why I would click on Option B first.
This option has a more realistic and easier to see model.
I would choose option B because it's more up close and clear.
I like that B shows the device more upfront.
I prefer the closer shot of the product rather than a wide shot of the runner
I liked the lighting and I can see this product easier.
better presentation of the product
Closer view of the product and better lighting in Choice B.
A doesn't look like a real picture.
I chose B because I could clearly where to put my phone and ear bud cord. The ad is up close and personal. This is especially helpful when one cannot actually hold the product in question. B is just more intimate.
I dont like the darker version at all. Even though you can still see the product it just makes me feel like it isnt good.
I would choose B. I don't think it makes sense to darken the girl, it looks artificial. Go with B
Option B is visually more appealing and can see the product better than option B. Option B is to dark looking to me.
I choose this image because I already know it has a reflective attribute. This image is up closer and it more visible. However if the other image was image b with it showing its reflective attribute i might vote on that item.
A looks fake.
I like that it's closer and bigger. You can see the product better.
Both pictures give an idea of how the product works. I chose B because the zoomed in image lets me more closely gauge how this would fit. I can more readily tell if it would be likely for the product to rest on an area of my body that would be prone to rubbing/irritation. Image A is also very poorly lit. I realize that maybe they are trying to demonstrate that this is a reflective product, but the poorly lit image does not give an accurate portrayal of the product's reflective capabilities. It just makes it more difficult to see the actual product.
I don't like the darkness of A
B shows off the product off better. The light is brighter and the image is bigger.
It is easy to see the backpack and isn't so dark
I would choose B because the closer shot allows me to really see the features of the product.
this one shows off the product better
This one definitely seems like a much clearer image of the item. aim not sure the other image gets across the reflective/glow in the dark aspect well
I chose B because with the close up you can see the product details more clearly.
This is bright and I can see everything.
The gray lighting in A is bizzare
this shows up close, the other one is to dark and I would skip right over that product.
I'd rather click on this amazon product profile image. I find it to be more professional and clearly visible, which entices and intrigues me more. I find the other image to be too dark and far away. I can tell this product is just as reflective as the other without having to make it darker.
The brighter option on B is a better choice here. It's easier to see the product and a more realistic view. I prefer that one in option B.
I like having the closer view of the product. I also think the darkness level is off in the image for A.
I like the fact that it's slighter bigger so I can see the little details in the product
I think the glow effect in Option A kind of makes the product look lower quality - it distorts the image of the gear just enough so that it does not look good. Option B looks very clear and like it is a high quality product, which is why I would click it. I also like that it is larger so I can see more detail.
The image of "B" is larger and clearer, allowing you to see more of the backpack.
Image A is just strange - I can't tell if it's meant to show off the reflective nature of the pack or if it's a fake/digital portrait. I like that Option B clearly shows the actual product on a real person.
Option A is very cheesy and unprofessional looking. Option B is much more realistic and looks more professional.
B because it looks bigger and like it will hold more things.
