These are humane mouse traps. Which color would choose to buy?
Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 30 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
B | 44% 22 votes | 60% 30 votes +8 |
C | 38% 19 votes | 40% 20 votes +1 |

i guess it wouldn't really matter to me except if there are colors that mice are more attracted to
I'm imaginging I would have to put it in my garage or in a basement where I would want it to stand out so that I could see it easily. Unless there is a benefit where 1 color would catch the attention of mice more than another color.
My first choice would be A (green), next would be B (blue).
The options are mostly based on color. When I see green I think humane and environmental. The Blue one is the second best color to me.
The green maybe better for the mouse eyes and easier to see at night.
I went with green for my first choice because it is my favorite color, Blue is another okay option although not one of my favorites, option C is just ugly in my opinion and not a color that would go well with my house
Honestly, I just love the color green.. and it would make the trapped mouse look kind of spacey, which is cool, when you think about it.
If I were looking to purchase humane mouse traps, my first preference for color would be Option A (Green) followed by Option B (Blue) and finally Option C (Goldish- Brown). My choices were based on the eye-catching appeal of each color.
A mouse in the house is not fun, but humane traps are much better than snapping them in half or poisoning them so this item is a much needed answer. I picked A simply because it doesn't have a picture of a mouse. Mice creep me out on every level. I don't enjoy looking at them unless they are a cartoon variety. So maybe you could improve on this my NOT using real mice photos.I have no real preference over color

blue is my favorite color
I like showing the mouse
i suppose blue is more calming in color and gives you a better sense of serenity, but honestly it's a mouse trap, no preference
I picked based on my own personal choices of favorite colors. Blue is my favorite color, followed closely by green. The brown color really isn't that attractive to me.
The blue is the most attractive.
I just prefer blue or green colors
The blue stands out more so I would remember it was there.
I think the blue and green colors would look more attractive in the home if they are seen.
I think the blue in the first option is the best because it would make it look a lot nicer sitting in your garage/backyard instead of the other colors.
i think the blue ones are the neatest looking, followed by green
bright and fun
i like blue the best in general, and in this instance i like it
I prefer the blue color because it is bright and vibrant, it reminds me of being outside. I like the green because it reminds me of grass.I don't like the brown, it is depressing in my opinion.
I chose my answers based on my favorite colors. The blue and the green are really nice looking. The brownish one is not my favorite of the colors. At the same time I think the brownish one would blend in better in a home or outside of the home.
I would buy blue since that looks cool, and green next. I think the moue can blend into C and we want to be able to see what'ever is here
I really like the color blue, it is bright and I will automatically know where I placed them. the little mouse in the picture makes me believe as though the trap has the mouse curious enough to go inside without hurting it. because of the position of the mouse and the color, option B is the one I would choose to buy
Blue is my favorite color, and I think C would be hard to see into.
The one I chose gives the best idea of the size of the product.
Option B looks the best with the curious mouse looking into the trap. I like that as it shows how big the trap is. The colors are all nice but I do like the green color a lot. Nice looking humane trap.
For some reason, the yellow trap in choice C has a negative look. I am not sure why, but I don't like it. The blue color is really nice and is my favorite of these three colors. The green is ok, but I like the blue better.
I honestly don't think I'd buy any of these, but if I'm going to, it's just a matter of which color I like more, I prefer blue to green and green to brown or copper or whatever that last one is. I think I'd rather have black than any of these if I had to choose a color, though.
B i like this color i think is good because is clear, C i like this color too, A i don't like this color

I think it's most "humane" to have a color that best matches the animal. Green is my favorite color, so it's choice #2. The blue is okay too but I don't want to see the mouse hear it.
I like the color of option C best. I also like the options that show the actual pet that will use the product and not just the product all by itself.
I ranked them in order of what would most likely match wherever I put the traps so they dont look out of place.
I think the mouse would have an easier time looking out of the brown ones. The green and blue may not be as good for the mouse to look out of. The mouse isn't at a club.
The colors are going to have to be personal preference for this product. You really can not add color to a product and make it nice when something is meant for death.
i like the tan one the best. more earth tone
I think the all look fine and would show up. I think the brigther colors might make my kids move them or play with them. I also would wonder if they would work. I would love to have a trap that worked< I do not like mice in house but do not want to kill them either.
Lighter colors would allow you to see it better, and if you're trying to be humane lighter colors might let more light through for the mouse
I prefer the orange color for this mouse trap although I don't think it really matters
I really like the idea of not killing the mouse. I would buy the orange, I like the color better.
Option C would be my first choice because I think it would be easier to see the rodent once it was caught as well as be less intimidating (colorwise) for the mouse. Option A and B are very 'loud' colors and would be conspicuous where ever they were set.
Definitely brown/orange because it will blend in with nature and its surroundings!!
Option C would most likely blend in with my surroundings. The others feel like they'd be an eye-sore I'd get tired of looking at.
It's a mouse trap, it doesn't need to be cute. At the very least you want to be able to see that you caught something. In my opinion they should not have a color. Depending on where you place these, it would be hard to see at a glance that you caught anything.
I would always pick a light color trap so that you can see if there is anything in there. I would pick C.
The amber color makes it seem more like a utility product. I can't imagine that the color would make any difference in effectiveness, but I suppose food bait might look more natural to a mouse in brown rather than green or blue.
The amber colored trap (C) looks more "natural" like something that might be the color of Autumn leaves in the outside world. The green trap (A) is similar to the green color that appears in nature on leaves of plants in Springtime. The blue one (B) has a manufactured trap appearance.
brown is similar to color of rodents and is associated with waste , other colors are too bright for this type of usage
tan seems like a more natural color and better for capturing mice
