I likely would not purchase this. While the velvet texture is nice, my dogs shed quite a bit and their hair will stick to velvet, I do not want to be washing the protector every time I take them for a ride. I also think the price is way too high. I bought a waterproof car seat protector for less than half of this price.

Yes I would. I can tell by looking at it in all of the pictures that is made of quality material end it is nice and thick. My dogs nails wouldn't cut through it or tear a hole in it easily at all. The fact is waterproof is a definite plus and I just can't get over the quality of that it looks nice and thick. I'm really impressed.

I would not be interested in this product because it is too permanent and my dog is a dog who constantly gets carsick and I would want a way to easily get rid of that, not have to deal with that in a very gross way. The only way I would be interested in this product is if it had a disposable element to it, almost like the paper on an examination table in a doctors office that I could put down and tear off on top when there is an accident.
