like that it mentions the name on the logo
Because it also has the name of the app.
I prefer to see the name of the company with the logo rather than an ambiguous logo. The logo is also more powerful with the text included.
B has no text, I have no idea what it is or what it is for. The graphic is too large. I won't click on things just to see what they are for fear of hacking or viruses. Be clear in your approach. That requires some text, not a lot, but something.
I prefer the icon to have the company name if possible
I think the words plus thd logo is far more informative than just the rocket alone
Option A makes a lot of sense because option B looks too similar that of NASA. Option A would fit better for social media as well.
I prefer to see the name of the app included with the logo.
The main reason for my choice is the color scheme around the logo. The red highlights and a lot more.
I picked A because it actually tell me what the app is.
I like option A better because it clearly states the brand.
I love the logo with the name next to it. This gives the brand a better footing and association. I would use that as the landing page as it's a good way to establish the site. Option B is good with the simple design but I feel adding the brand name goes further for promoting the company.
I like option A the best because I like white circle surrounded by red and I like that I can see the rock with the name of the brand below it.
I would rather have the name of the company and just some simple rocket ship, maybe over time when there is some brand recognition
I like the logo with the title of the company. Without it being a well known company just yet, the name helps me associate the logo with the correct company.
The cartoon effect is softened by the text and varied colors.
I like the logo that shows the company name.
its a simple drawing but I also think its great to have the name of the company in there as well.
I prefer the logo in the circle with the company text below as it provides me more information on the app. choice B is a bit too vague as just showing a graphic of a rocket doesn't really tell me much about the company.
Choice A is my pick because I like that it does not have the white lining around it like Choice B does. To me that make it look to much like a sticker. I also like how the lack of that makes the flame look in Choice A. I also liked how Choice A has the name in the logo so that you know what company it is.
I prefer just the logo illustration without the text.
I prefer Option A to Option B because I feel like the red really stands out. I also like that the name of the company is included in option A. If it wasn't for that, it would just look like a picture of a rocket ship without providing any substance, much like what is in Option B.
I prefer the comprehensive look of this icon. The other option is more is an element, while this one gives a more complete overall 'picture'. I also think the red background is more eyecatching than the blue one.
I think the circle within the square looks more symmetrical and appealing. It just makes more visual sense to me and the image is much more crisp.
Catches the eye more than option B. Has the name of app and more detailed picture.
I like A because the icon in B is almost too close it. It's as if it's in your face.
Having the name is just an added piece of info for the consumer. The generic B just doesn't tell an interested person anything.
I like including the name of the company on the logo as in A
I chose A because it has more information than B. With choice A I know exactly which app I just opened and what I am going to do. B is kind of mysterious with just a rocket.
The app icon of option A is more appealing, the app icon of option A is well designed and creative. The color used for the design of the app icon of option A makes option A to be more attractive.
this one has the company name so it's better
I like all the colors and seeing the words.
I think it's good to have the name of the company if the app is still new or not as well known yet.
I picked A as my top choice as I like how it's very pink on the border while the rocket itself is purple. Plus it shows off the brand name.
Super love A because of the colors and the words which are integral to the app.
I prefer the colors and design of this one over the other one.
I like the color scheme better and I like the added name. I get a better sense what it is about.
THis logo makes better sense because it tells you what the brand is, along with the picture.
I like the version with the name of the company better, as well as the color scheme, so Option A is more preferable to Option B, though both are visually appealing.
I chose option 'A' because the app actually states "Global Tech Worldwide" - Having this as an icon would clearly help to distinguish from other apps........
I prefer red over blue and i like that this logo has the company name in it
This one is a lot more memorable than the other.
I like option A's design more than option B as I like the fact that the name of the company is in the design itself as I feel like that adds to the overall uniqueness and one of a kind feel of the design.
Including the name of the company along with the logo gives a definitive meaning to the icon.
I like the one with words much better. It explains more what the product will be.
My preference for A is because of the uniqueness of the icon, the icon really tell about the brand and give some nice impressions about the brand and the color use is a dope idea of icon for this brand and the design really look good for the brand.
My preference would be to at least see the name of the company with the icon, plus I like the color scheme much better - so Choice A would be for me.
I like the color combination and just the overall way this one looks. It is really eye catching.
I liked A because it shows the name clearly and there is more contrast between colors. There is also more white, which makes it stand out even more. There is also more red in this icon that makes it jump out more.
I think having the purple as more of an accent color helps it stand out more. The circle really makes it the focus of the design as well. I like having the magenta o and this feels more familiar. Option A is more balanced and helps get the brand message across while also telling you the brand.
I like having the company name in the logo design, as it creates more brand recognition and reliability. And the red background is soothing, but also evokes a sense of confidence and competence. Very nice for sure!
I prefer the logo that says the name so I get a better idea of the company and what their page is about.
Overall the graphics are more centered, and I like that the name of the company is included on the landing page.
I lioke the text and name in additiopn to the logo. More descriptive
I always like more information when I am looking at anything. Choice A gives me the most information. And at least it tells me the company name so that I know what I am dealing with.
It has more to it in A then B.
I like reading the name of the company
It's just catches your eye without having to try to look at it with the red coloring and the white in the middle,The wording also helps to make it more appealing and visual.
I like the ad that has the company name in it, so choice A is the better bet.
The words are informative on knowing what is the point or company depicpted in the logo
I really like choice A more because I feel the logo is easier to read and I really like that it includes the app's name.
I think the red background of A makes it look a lot more social and attractive so A
The global teck logo is far and above the best that really lets you know what it represents.
A is definitely by far the better choice for a company logo. I'm a huge fan of companies having their actual name in the logo. I want to know exactly what and where I am even with webpages. Now I do like B and the color combination and logo but more so for a sports team. I love the idea and design of both of them but definitely a huge fan of the company logo in the name.
I really like global tech worldwide because of the picture the color choices it really stands out and explains who it is right away.
I prefer the landing page to have the name of the company and not just the logo, so I prefer Option A here. Also, the choice of colors and design in Option B really remind me of the colors used by the Democratic candidates in the last election cycle (a solid blue background incorporating white and red elements), so I'd maybe avoid using it just in case other people have similar associations.
I like Choice A, I like seeing the name of the company it seems more official and I like the icon logo better.
I chose A because it seems like a business networking website. The other one looks childish.
Option A lists the company name which I like so I know who I am dealing with.
i like the colors and that it tells you what company it actually is.
I like that the logo in option A has the name of the brand. Better for brand recognition.
I would like to see the name of it at least...the rocket could be that rocket mortgage thing we hear about all the time
For a social media landing page, I prefer icon A because unlike icon B, it includes the name of the business, which lets me know for sure what page I'm on. Icon B only shows a rocketship and would thus make me unsure of the page I'm on.
I think A is better because it clearly shows the company name and looks more professional to me.
The one no words does not tell you what it is for and the logo is not easily known at this time
I prefer this app icon as it’s more aesthetically pleasing and appealing visually.
I like this icon much better. It's more appealing looking and is more detailed.
I think the pink feels very vibrant and energizing.
Option A with circular white background looks better. The rocket sketch looks better in option A as well. Option B looks a bit amateurish.
i like image A because it is more descriptive with the name in the logo
The emblem does to say anything about the company. "A" goes so far to state that the company is Worldwide.. This is important as it gives some information regarding the scope of the company. It is important to have a clear understanding regarding a company on social media.
I think that A looks the most like an App Icon. It has not only the photo, but the symbol as well. I like that the rocket is centered.
With the name on the logo, I am more certain tha I have landed on the page that I want to access. I also just prefer this logo more because I like the distribution of the three colors of this logo or this design more than the other.
The red being the dominant color is more eye catching. I also like the wordmark in the logo, it brings insight as to what the logo is for.
I like A more because the circle and the contrast with the colors is attractive to me and gets my attention right away.
Choice B is too generic and vague.
Choice A is full and complete with the logo and the name, rather than just the logo and can be confusing for those not familiar with it.
I like this option because it has a name to go with the logo. Just a plane rocket ship means nothing to me. I love the red.
Although both logos are similar in design, I think some text in Logo A helps viewers to perceive it as a company logo not a pretty icon.
This app icon is preferable for a landing page because the logo identifies the company while the other one is very vague.
I like this logo with the logo name on the front of it. The colors are bold and eye catching.
I think Option A app icon for social media gives a fuller view of the company by adding in the company's name. Now I have have a better idea what the company is about and what they do. Also, since the company is not as established as other companies just the stand alone logo icon in Option B doesnt work as well and the combination logo in Option A.
I like panel A. I guess it is because it has the company name on it.
I like that it includes the company name in the graphic. I feel that makes it easier to remember the name and makes the logo more memorable.
The color scheme of A is much more creative and I appreciate seeing the company name in the logo. The logo is designed well in A. I would not be familiar with the company if I just saw this logo in B
Pink background makes it stand out more
logos are just better if they have the company name on them. B felt a little too incomplete, like it was only part of a larger logo
I like the icon in Option A. It is more detailed and having the app name helps distinguish it.
The app icon I prefer for a social media landing page is option A because it is clear with details whereas option B only shows a icon with not details.
I like this choice because it is appealing to the entire world.
easier to recognize with the text
I chose A because it also tells what the logo represents (Global Teck Worldwide). Since this logo is not well known at least not to me, I would choose A so people will know what app it is for. B is just a logo and only a few well known companies can get by with just a logo and not suffer customer loss due to not knowing.
I prefer this icon because of the design, it looks more appealing and professional.
I prefer A as it shows the company's name right on the app. I also like how the spaceship looks smaller and the colors look nicely together.
Option A gave more details about the app. Someone who would see this app would be able to see the name of the app and therefore, know whether they would want to download it. Option B is just a picture. If I saw an app like option B, I may not know what it was.
After carefully studying both app icons for a social media landing page I selected Option A over Option B because I was visually attracted to this image immediately. I feel that the color and design of the icon has great eye catching appeal.
It's more eye catching and it states the name of the app. If I was looking at b I wouldn't know what it was for and just scroll past it
Seems a bit more memorable and pulled together
Definitely like A better.
I like knowing what I am clicking on and having the name of the company helps me do that. Now maybe after the company becomes more establish they can drop the name from the icon and do a better job at establishing the logo just by itself.
Option A has the name of the app as part of the design. Option B does not have the name and that may be confusing.
I prefer A because it doesn't have any confusion. It is straight to the point with the business and logo.
I prefer A more since A not only has the logo, but also includes and company name, indicating that it is for worldwide, gives user a lot of confidence using A.

That purple/blue color is more warm and inviting to me.
I chose B because it is more unique and clean looking
I like the purple in B. It's more soothing and social.
I like B better, I think that it looks better without the font on it.
I think choice B without words is better for a logo
This one's more distinctive and seems like it would be better as an icon.
Most of my icons don't have text on them and this one would fit in. It seems more modern to have a very simple icon without writing.
i think less is more here. the text in the other would be too small on the app icon
I really like the simplicity to it. It does a solid to still look nice as well.
I prefer Option B. It is more simple and to the point. It looks like an app icon. Option A has too much going on. The words are not necessary. I'm imagining it as a small app icon and it would be hard to see the lettering.
I like option B because the rocket shop logo looks bigger and more attractive. Option A has too many words.
The colors clash too much with option A.
I like not having the name. I'm sure the name will be on the social media page already so B has a nice and cleaner look to it's logo.
less wording on app screen is better
I prefer B as an app icon for a social media landing page. I like how simple it is, and focuses on the logo itself. I do not think any text is needed, and I feel the larger image is very striking in appearance and attention-grabbing.
I'd definitely go for option (B) as the brand name is also there. I kind of like the red color in the background with the white that gives it a symmetrical background.
I like logos with big pictures. The words detract and get in the way of me enjoying the image. That's all I needed to consider when determining this.
I'm confused as to whether this is for a new social media company or a company's social media page, so I'm going to play it safe and go with Option B, which could work under either condition.
Its a much nicer look in my opinion and not as loud
If it's someplace I will be going on a regular basis, I like the clean, colorful, easy to identify logo better because I like the simplicity of it and don't need all the extra informaton of option A. Additionally, I like blue much better than red and Option B is more restful on the eyes with just a pop of white and red.
Option B is more fun and friendly and looks less corporate.
I think it’s more dynamic than A.
I liked B more because it felt more friendly and playful and seemed less cluttered. I think A tries to cram too much into a small space and it doesn’t look good.
Option B, just looks better. Just not a fan of the circle look of the logo in option A.
I chose B because it focused on the logo and not the text. I liked that better for whatever reason.
I like the plain logo without text. It's simple and cute.
I like be the best. The minimalist design of just the logo would really fit well.
Simpler is easier to remember. The simpler logo will help it stick in peoples minds better.
This has a fun chunky retro vibe with nice color and look.
I like this icon because it was less cluttered. It was clean and would be easy to find on my smart device among the other apps. I also like the color and it is unique so I would be able to find it quickly.
I think that this is cuter and more inviting.
I like the cheery blue tones better than red.
I think that the image without the text is a lot nice and more aesthetically pleasing which I feel like is an important aspect for a landing page. You want a landing page to catch people's attention and look cool rather than "official" with the business name one it. I personally would much rather see the app icon shown in option B to the one shown in option A.
it is basic and vivid , I think plain type logos look more professional
Choice B. "Global Teck" is an awfully name. The spelling of "teck" makes me cringe.
I’ve always learned in design classes that companies strive for a logo w no words. I think B is good in that respect. I like the mostly blue- a little pink contrast. A landing page w no words might even make ppl feel like insiders - they already know the company name, and this is just a reminder that they’re home
This icon feels more free spirited and creative since it's not contained anywhere in a circle as A is.
I like the spaceship on blue without the words.
Option B looks way more modern than Option A. I think it would work well for social media on any device.
I think option B has a more modern, less boringly corporate look to it.
social media websites do not have words on them, people need to identify them by sight alone
I prefer the blue background.
The little rocket is cute and I like the colors that are used and the overall design.
I prefer the simple graphic icon. It's modern and clean design. I don't need words on an icon.
Option B is the best option because of the unique and almost childish cuteness. A really funny and charming picture.
Neither of them really represent social media, but "global teck worldwide" in the icon make it even more confusing.
Option B has the best colors but it needs a title
it does not seem as cluttered as option A. the icon is simple and seems more modern
I like the clean text-free logo of choice B. I think the logo itself is the attractive thing here and what is likely to be remembered by users. The name used on choice A "Global Tek Worldwide" if anything detracts from the logo. The name is not catchy or memorable.
Choice b is more memorable and eye catching
no words and just the icon is more powerful sometimes
This one is best because the other one leads you to believe it is a shipping service.
The splash of blue catches my eye and soothes, unlike red which is unsettling. I really like the spacecraft (?) logo--totally original, captivating and memorable. While the spacecraft appears launching in the blue image, it gets lost in the left red visual, at the same time the Global TecK name not really jumping out either. I assume the company name would be close to the blue logo on the landing page. But for launching a landing page the blue logo is perfect.
i like the darker background because I feel like the logo pops out more on it, and I find the name of the brand a little bit distracting
One of them is blue and the other one is red. I picked the one because it was blue. I didn't pick the other one because it was red
I like the clean design.
i feel you dont need the words in the label if i already have the app i know what i down loaded and that just makes it to busy keep it simple
I think B looks smarter and more innovative. It's simple but true to the meaning. While A might be a bit too typical and tacky.
I feel that choice B is more modern take to the rocketship and I think it just looks better overall than choice A which has words in it.
I prefer option B because of it's simplicity. I feel like app icons should be kept simple, and non-cluttered. It makes them look neater and more professional. App icons tend to be a small image, so when you add text (unless it's short words with larger lettering), it has a tendency to look messing and illegible. App icons with bold imagery and bright colors tend to stand out better and are easier for the user to find.
I am more drawn to this logo over the other. I think that it gives a great representation of the business icon without looking cluttered and overwhelming.
I really like the rocket design. I like them both, but with B, I don't know the company name. A creates more brand awareness.
Option B would be easier to see if used as an icon. The blue and white will work well with Facebook's color scheme and be understandable there. Option A might not be immediately clear as an icon and looks like something from 2005.
I like option B because it is simple and the colors are great! It doesn't tell you what the icon is for like in option A but I like it. Option A is too busy compared to B when I see them side by side. I like just the blue back ground and simple red curve. I really like option B.
I think B better symbolizes something launching.
Simple and to the point.
I think the simplest icons are usually the most effective in getting a point across.
I prefer the icon without the writing simply because I believe that users will more easily remember an app icon with a notable image than one with print which is hard to read on an icon anyway.
blue is better. red option is too bright and flashy and is not appealing.
I think it looks a lot better simpler with just the rocket and few colors for an icon. I like the colors.
Option "B": I'm assuming the user will already know what the app is and what it does for an icon to be used for access; so, this one is larger and would be more easily visible on a phone screen and is dynamic without the text and thus my favorite.
The blue background is more interesting and appealing to me. I like the logo as well.
I think A would be a great logo, but once I’m familiar with the logo, I don’t need to see the name of the site every time. I think B is more effective in that way because it would communicate what site it is, but it would also feel like it has confidence and can stand on its own.
The image should be synonymous with the social media page without text. For example, Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter all use their respective icons with no text.
I think B would definitely be the better app icon. It's bold and not bogged down with unnecessary words. I think it would be easily recognizable.
I feel like this one is better because it lacks the type and is much more simple. Therefore, it will work much better at the smaller size it will likely be used at. I think the stroke width on the lines is a bit thick, though.
the app logo looks cleaner without the name. although i think the logo needs some framing. maybe a white border would look good
B is more interesting and fun to me. A looks boring and like it wants to give a long speech about it's mission statement.
I like the icon with no words on it because it is simple and just looks better, I don't need the name of the global organization. The other option makes me think that it has bad intentions because it seems like a big giant corporation
The words in it would be to small to see. Choice b looks better as an icon.
The purple background with the logo in white and red coloring is more ideal. I don't think the text is that necessary and it's fine without it.
If it's an icon, it just needs a simple symbol. Nothing too complicated. Just the rocket
I like the purple color better.
I think the blue color being so prominent makes it seem soothing and safer than the other choice.
Initially i would prefer the word so I know what it is, but I think once I have downloaded it I would prefer this version without the words as I would already know what it is.
I chose B because I really like the simplicity of it. I dont need text to explain the name of the landing page. The logo is enough for me. It is a little child like....but I still like it best.
Like the bluek bacground. makes it stand out more
