No because videos do not hold people's attention anymore.
Yes videos tell you more about a person
I think that people may be nervous in a video and not be able to be themselves.
I'd be uncomfortable being that transparent
Yes, I would use it because it sounds unique. It's not the generic approach to dating sites.
I would not. A real self cannot be conveyed in a video, especially in terms of attempting to attract a partner. The whole dating scene is itself an exercise is being who you are not for a period of time.
I would not use this because i find dating apps to be really hard to use and i also am uncomfortable on video. i dont think showing myself in video would translate to how i am in real life because i would be putting on a front to make a nice recording.
I think that it would be awesome to be able to see someone via video. especially before meeting up, it would be a nice security feature
I wouldn't use this app because it sounds time consuming and I would assume most people would use it as a way to upload pornography or explicit content. I like the traditional apps that I can read what a person says.
I would not use the app. I find that these apps are always full of fake people. even the higher end ones or even christian mingle
The idea is great, but I don't know if I'd actually want to go through with making a video for it.
Yeah, I would use it so I could see how people act.
i would use it strictly for hook ups probably
It seems like an attempt to take snapchat or instagram market share and its kind of cheesy
It is a good idea for a social media dating app, but I wouldn't personally use it. I don't think I'm comfortable making a video of myself dating-related.
I don't think it will be as good as the others.
i wouldn't because of how it looks.
I don't want to make videos. Also I feel like there too many dating apps. I want to use an app with a large pool of users. I don't think there is a need for anymore dating apps.
Yes. I will like a lot of question answered while reading one's nonverbal clues.
I dont like to take self videos of myself. I dont ever know what to say
This could be a good one for competition
I would definitely give it a try. Although there are many dating apps/websites out there, the trend of newer ones coming out with unique features is quite appealing since it gives you a different view of the person.
The app should provide a step in preventing false profiles or the act of cat fishing to occur. One may feel more assured as to who they are talking to compared to other dating apps. Therefore I would use it if I were interested.
I'm never using dating apps again and I would prefer to meat someone naturally.
I feel that short videos of people may be uncomfortable to watch.
I like the idea. It seems less superficial than apps such as tinder. I might use it.
I would use this because a video can show more about a person than just photos. Videos feel more personal.
Yes, I would use it because a video showing the faces of some people that I like in a dating app would be the best thing for me. It could save me time and effort.
I won't use this because I wouldn't want to spend the time making my own videos and I would not have the patience to watch other videos.
Not sure I would want to watch a bunch of videos
I wouldn't really use it. I don't think it would really be anything special or different.
Never heard of it, plus online dating is a crap shoot, I've only met crazies on those type of sites.
It's an interesting idea, but I would be afraid my video would suck. I'm not very charismatic or comfortable in front of a camera. So I would need pointers and help.
It can provide options but it should not be the only one you should limit yourself to. There are people who are not very outgoing and talkative.
You can see their personality more. You could get to know that person better before moving on to the next step.
I would try to use it though I fear the people's videos might get a little unoriginal and boring after awhile. It would be a good way to see who is interesting if they made unique videos.
I don't want to make videos of myself. I would watch other peoples videos but i dont want to make videos of myself.
Yes I would use the app if I were single because it's similar to Snapchat and I think wouldn't have many catfish.
I personally would not use it. Reason being, I am not that confident to record myself and feel comfortable to upload a video for a dating app. I believe some people may be worried about how they sound, or appear. Often, people is choosing to use filters on their photos to better enhance their image. I do on the other hand think that other people will use dating app as well. I feel it would be more difficult for any one to create a fake profile and "catfishing" someone. I give it 3 stars, just because it's something I wont use, but do like the idea.
I really hate being in videos and watching myself. It makes me so self conscious.
I would not use it because of how long it would take to go through the videos.
I thought the video gave a positive vibe. Even though I am not interested in dating apps, I think that this gives people an open and honest look at what they will be using.
This sounds like it would be borderline untrustworthy given the collection of data and what is being released. I would have apprehension about such a service until it could be proven trustworthy.
This sounds like an interesting idea. You could get an impression of the person and see how their personality is. It might let you see if they act normal, or awkward. It may also let you hear a persons voice and see their face over photos so you actually know what type of person you are meeting. I would use it to get a better impression of the person before meeting. Honestly, it's harsh, but it's disheartening to show up and someone look different or be different from what you expected. If I am not attracted to someone physically, it's hard to connect. I understand how shallow that sounds, but it is an important aspect regardless of what folks say. Personality comes a close first, but this video app could give you little snippets and you could always have higher tier accounts to offer better services.
Yes, I think this is a good idea. It gets a lot of easy questions out of the way and ensures you aren't speaking to a bot.
I am awkward in front of a camera so I would avoid this dating app. I like to see pictures first and then maybe progress to videos later.
Yeah, seems fun and like a great conversation starter
I would be interested in it because a video can give you more than a photo can. I would be interested to view how the person talks, their tone of voice and rate of speech. I would like the ability to see mannerisms and facial expressions. I also think it would give an insight to sense of humor which would be nice. You can see surroundings, potentially interactions with other people. I think that videos can give you a better idea as to if an individual is genuine or not - moreso than a photograph. I also think that it would help alleviate some anxiety during a first date if there were videos. It can help make the person seem more personable and give a better expectation for the first date.
I would not, because I (like many people) am not comfortable sharing videos of myself, especially in such a public forum where anyone could take and use the video or the information in it.
