Which design do you like more in the context of an idle RPG game and why?
27 Responses to Option A
Looks more like an old console game and less like a cell phone game.
I like A better. It just has more color and is way more vivid.
I like the brighter colors and the 3D style buttons. A seems plainf, flat, and boring
I like A because I think the color contrast, especially the bright green, make the content easier to read and use. They look clearer to me.
The colors in the background are nicer in item A. The dark brown in B was not as nice to view.
A is a lot more colorful and attractive; B is kind of dull and the colors sort of blend together a bit too much. A looks like the buttons are a bit larger and easier to press, too.
I like that it looks brighter
Brighter colors are ideal for games like this.
I like the items standing out but on B, I like the start of the hero 'cards' but the words buttons in dark blue
Brighter colors are more enjoyable!!
this is more colorful
The yellow color is more inviting and it separates the sections better than black does. Colors are attractive
I like A because the colors are more lively and engaging.
I prefer option A because it is more colorful. The gold tiles with green accents are easier to separate from one another than the darker ones.
I chose A because the color of this screenshot is bright, appealing and engaging.
Bright green cartoony style is easier to read and better for mobile
The font looks cleaner and the page just looks more professional in my opinion.
The gold backdrop makes it look more appealing.
I like the bright colors with more contrast. It makes it easy to see things and tell them apart.
Option B has a lot better colors, the image is sharp, and the colors pop out really nice, I like the clean font and the backlighting, it looks a lot more detailed than option B
The colors used in choice A are brighter and more eye-catching.
The yellow background is easier to read quickly and I can see what everything is on the page. Option B doesn't work well with the brown background.
These colors pop out more and are easier to follow, in my opinion
The gold background really makes the words pop off the page and make it easier to read. It also makes it a border around each section. With the black background it doesn't give that division. I also like that the progress is in bright green it is really noticable.
It seems more vibrant and certain features "pop" more.
A has colors that I prefer more
I like the colors they stand out more.

B's colors are easier on my eyes
It's easier on the eye. The green on A hurts my eyes.
The darker background hurts my eyes less
I love the dark and enticing look.
I LIKE THE DARKER THEME
The darker background makes the numbers easier to read, which is important. It'd be tough to distinguish those numbers on "A" in normal light.
i like the darker color background especially if i'm playing on my phone at night it's easier on the eyes
This layout seems a little more well-designed and more like a modern game
I like the overall color scheme in B better. It seems more contrasty and easier to read.
The darker textures on the interface appeal to me
A is a little too bright and harsh at the eyes. I could stare at B for much longer.
I like the richer colors in B and also the additional status marker of 2/10, etc.
Easier on the eyes; the yellow of the other one was hard to see
I chose B, because I like the darker background and overall color scheme better.
I choose B, because it is a lot easier on the eyes.
the dark background is more striking and attention grabbing
It looks easier to play and navigate.
Choice be is sleeker and looks easier to navigate.
I like the color scheme on B better than on A. The bright green buttons on A make me feel like they are aggressively trying to get me to upgrade those particular things, whereas on B they are more subtle and presented as an option/information.
I vote for B because the background colors contrast very well with the colors on the status bars as opposed to A where the colors are brighter and do not contrast very well with each other.
Although Option A stands out more, Option B is much sleeker and easier on the eyes, which I would prefer for looking at a screen for a long period of time.
The darker colors are easier on the eyes which is good for prolonged periods of gaming.
The dark color of the background is more attractive to me and I like this RPG style buttons with selections.
