Given the formats below for delivering 12 short dog stories and/or 12 B&W drawings of those dogs which format appeals to you most? Please comment on why you made this choice. Thanks.
Option D won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 60 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
D | 60% 60 votes |
A | 24% 24 votes |
B | 8% 8 votes |
C | 8% 8 votes |

I like coloring, so this would be best for me.
I definitely want the option to color. I think my kid would like that a lot more. The PDF would be convenient and I wouldn’t have to print everything so I like it
I would like both stories and to color but i would like to print it out myself. If its one or the other then i would prefer the pages.
I like this option because it is the most straight forward and describes the product better.
Option A because it will give people more stuffs to do than just reading through it
I think it would be the most fun to have both the coloring pages and the stories.
I like that A and D both contain stories with pictures to color. But A especially because it includes the dog to color with the matching story.
I like option A. The coloring pages can be printed out, as needed. It comes with some story content. So yeah, I'd buy option A.
Option A delivers the best of all worlds. It gives you the stories and the dog coloring pages in an easy to use modern format. You can choose to print all or none at your leisure.Option D is the traditional, old school way of doing things. Modern society is really not embracing the printed book trade any longer. It is a dying profession. While I know a lot of people like to "hold" a book, it simply is not cost efficient or environmentally sound any longer. Mass print media will be a thing of the past in my children's lifetime.Option A delivers the product in its entirety and allows flexibility as to what pages you want colored and when.
"A" is the best because it tells you everything you need to know. I don't like the "I would prefer" language and "C" is fine.
I prefer this one because you can download all this and then print out the dog pictures, it would save paper and no book would be needed
The first choice is excellent. It gives a story and coloring pages. Because it is in pdf form, you can print out the book and color illustrations as many times as you wish. The second choice is because I am still a fan of paper back.
I like digital copies of books that are not of some great significance. Also for a coloring book you can print them as many times as you want.
I would prefer option A. I made this choice because it would make a great gift for my grandson. He really loves dogs and drawing and coloring.
I think option A delivers the best description.
I prefer the PDF eBook of 12 Dog Stories with Coloring Pages of each dog because it would be more accessible and secured to use, I'd prefer a digital version of this.
All of these sound great as I love dogs. I chose option A. I like the stories and coloring options in the book.
I like the description that highlights the coloring pages
Both stories and pictures would be more educational
I like Option A because it's a PDF and has dog stories in it. Option C is also a PDF but has dog illustrations instead of stories which I don't like as much. Option B just has dog stories and nothing else. Option D uses a paperback which I don't want to use.
I prefer the description where it's clear that it's both a book and coloring book where the stories and coloring in connected - as well as the emphasis on PDF/ebook where I will have to print
I like the idea of having the PDF so I can print and use the coloring pages multiple times.
I chose this because it sums up the entirety of the message shorter and more easily.
A has the best of both worlds. The stories and the coloring pages. I’d take that easy
8 Responses to Option B
I would just prefer the basic ebook with the stories.
I don't want any more paper. I also typically don't particularly like illustrations. I certainly don't like to color.
i prefer ebooks because they are better for the environment. i don't do coloring books so i prefer just the pdf offered in b.
I want an ebook and the stories alone, no extras for me.
Just got through printing out color sheets for my 12 year old daughter She has been doing this since she was four. So these are great products and last with age.
I think just the stories in PDF is the best option, for the most part people do not use paper back like they did before. I like A, but I am not quite sure if people would be able to color it but if there was a program to color on PDF it may be fun. I do not think people have printers like they used to, but for older people theh may use it. I do not think most people would prefer D, but I guess if that option is available some people may buy it.
I believe that ebooks are the future of books and the way they would be presented would enhance the content
I chose the titles that I feel match the type of book that it is.
8 Responses to Option C
This option is the most appealing to me because it is clear what is being offered.
C is the best of both worlds. I think the stories are more important that the coloring pages though.
I prefer the digital format because it is easier to pick and choose what I want.
I prefer option C the best, in my opiknion i's the most simple yes also giving a good amount of value for my money. I think it would give a lot of time to color and use as well.
With option C you can read the stories even with no printer available. When a printer is available you can add coloring to the fun.
I chose choice c because pdf ebooks are versatile. I can print the pages out to color.
C because it's interactive D because you don't have to print it out B its not something you have to store A idk why you would want a pdf ebook to color.
I would choose option C because it is very brief and to the point.

i prefer physical copies
D is the only right choice if you care about the coloring pages/drawing
D I feel is the easiest and least costly to do the coloring pages for the child.
nothing like a paperback book better than any Ebook
I'm into material culture and would prefer those stories with illustrations, so Option D gets first place.
B is the least interactive so I ranked this last. I thought D would be the most convenient as I wouldn't have to print anything out.
I think it would be most interesting to have pictures and stories. A book is more handy and interesting than a download, especially if it might be considered as a gift option.
i feel the traditional way this time the paperback make it back in the days feeling i think this option is good suitable in my opinion even the other choices are good too
My preference would be an actual paper coloring book. But if I had the software of an iPad I would want a digital version.
I like option D because I am a hands-on person and wouldn't mind the option a because it's providing both but it's still not the classic type paper back coloring book
Having physical media is preferable. Especially if it comes with illustrations. Saves me time that I would otherwise spend printing them out myself.
An actual paperback is my preference here, rather than having to print out a PDF.
Paperbooks are more convenient to carry in hand and read, especially for those colored pages. Users can turn to specific pages. The reading experience is traditional and enjoyable. Reading ebooks require computers or smartphones which are not accessible to everyone. Thus, D is my top pick. In terms of the rankings of the ebooks, I think colored ebooks are more attractive to read. Thus, A is ranked higher than the other two. The option C requires readers to print out which is not convenient to many users. Thus, C is the worst option in the ranking list.
I prefer hard copy, I'm not going to buy a book and then have to print things out
I would like option D because I would really love to have a paperback with the stories and coloring pages because I think that it would loo k a lot better compared to a pdf print out.
I still believe a good ole fashion physical book with photos beats any E book! So option D was easy. If that wasn’t an option I’d take the full e book in option A. Option C would be cool to get nice pics but B is o my the stories which I’d prob pass.
make it easy and print the pages for people. i like the combination of both pictures and stories best
I really think having something tangible that you can hold without having to rely on your own printer is much more preferred.
I prefer the option D product description because I would rather have a paper back copy of the dog stories with coloring pages because I would not have to print them out myself. I chose options C and A second and third because I would rather have the electronic book with the dog illustrations more than the electronic book with dog stories and coloring pages. I chose option B last because I would much rather have some coloring pages than just the twelve dog stories.
With books I still prefer the tangible nature of a paperback book over a ebook.
I don't want to have to read or color electronically. I would want to be able to physically have the pages.
I assume this would be for my kids. If so, I have no interest in a PDF. I want a physical book
I the idea of having both very interesting and engaging
I like Option D the best - I would really like the paperback version. Of Options B, A, and C, I like the PDF version in B because it would be easier to read, and not have to print. I like the PDF print versions (Options A and C) the least.
I would only prefer a paperback form of this product, its just the best way to color.
I feel like I would be getting more for my money if I got a paperback version.
I am old fashioned so I would want a regular paperback book over all others.
I really think you need stories and coloring pages. That is why I chose d and a. And I prefer actual books, which is why I chose d. C and b are inconsequential to me
I made my choices based on how the books would be more appealing. I felt that having pages to color really makes the boos more interactive and useful.
I prefer a physical book thus my top choice. I like the feel of holding and reading a book. Plus it hurts my eyes when reading from a screen.
I prefer physical copies of books (D), and if it involves coloring books it makes sense to have these already printed.
I personally still like to physically hold my books and dont have a printer to print things out, so i would want the paperback, but if I did get the PDF, I think having a coloring page for each dog is a cute good idea.
I chose the easiest and most accessible first, where I know what I’m getting and what to expect.
Option D. I like that it is paperback making it more ideal for the type like myself who enjoys having physical books. It sounds creative and fun.
I like the paper version with the story. Adds to the memory.
I chose D because I like being to hold an actual book. I chose A & C next because they both have stories and coloring pages. B only has stories so I put it last.
Would most prefer a print copy.
i personally wouldnt care about any of these. these could be found on the internet somewhere
Option D was my first choice because it doesn't involve a PDF that would require printing out or reading from a screen so I most prefer to have it already printed. My main reason for that is because I don't like printing out a lot of things because ink can be so expensive in my home printer. If I were to choose a PDF version, I would choose "A" because having the coloring pages is what interests me most but I would also like to read the stories too. Option C is just the dog coloring pages which would be fine but I still would like to read the stories. Option B was my last choice because it is only the stories and I like the idea of being able to have coloring pages so this wouldn't really interest me on its own.
I chose D & A first because you'd want both coloring pages and stories. I ranked D over A because printers cannot be trusted. They only work at random intervals in my experience. Next, I chose C and B, with C ranked higher because I don't like reading e-books, but would not have a problem with pdfs to print and let the kids color. (Assuming my printer would allow it).
Purchasing the paperback saves me time and energy in which I don’t have to look for the book, print it out, and then staple the pages together. It also saves me money on ink and paper.
Paperback has more value as it is physical vs just pdf or ebook and I can take it places physically when I have no computer
Having a hard back book that I can color in is much nicer than pdf. One to print out and color is nice also though
I chose D first because a paperback version is always preferable to me. I chose C second because the stories are a little unnecessary to me, people just want to color. I chose A third because I guess the stories are a nice addition, but the coloring pages are the real seller. I chose B last because of the obvious reasons I have mentioned already, people would just want this really as a coloring book.
I like the paperback option the most as when it comes to reading books there is nothing quite like physically holding the book in your hand and being able to focus all your energy on the book. The pdf options are nice as well with printable coloring pages but these virtual options will never be able to replace the quality of a good paperback quality printed book
Let's stay "old school" and try letting kids handle an actual physical book, just for old time's sake.
I chose option D because I would prefer a professionally made paperback book. I don't want to have a PDF version of the book especially for a book like this with dog stories
I’m old school and like to color therefore, I would pick Option D or possibly Option C.
I like having a book in my hand rather than pdf
I chose option D because it's the most appealing to me. I prefer paperback over a pdf
I prefer being able to have a paperback over a pdf e book, so I prefer choice D overall. After that, option A would be my favorite since I can get dog stories and coloring pages.
I prefer the printed version, although I can print it at home, I know that the commercial paper will be of better quality.
I feel like I would always prefer the paperback version of this because I'm able to physically color on it and it gives me a tangible object that I can share with kids and with family members
I would choose choices D and B first because they have a good description and they are more detailed as compared to choices C and A which are less attractive and not well detailed for me.
I prefer a regular book, but if it's an eBook, I want pictures.
First choice for the 12 short dog stories and 12 B&W drawings of those dogs format that appeals most is option D because it would be good for story telling and coloring to look at progress of the coloring.Second is option C because it would be good to print out and give other kids a chance to color as wellThird is option A because it is good for different choices to color their favoritesFourth is option B because I prefer the coloring pages
I like the twelve stories, but plus coloring pages. I like the idea of each of the twelve dogs being coloring pages, but some other things would be nice too. For those that just want the stories, the ebook wouldn't be a good choice, it's better to have something tangible.
I like D the most because I prefer physical copies rather than a PDF.
I prefer option D because I would like to physically have the coloring book and I like the idea of having dog stories too. A is my second choice because if I can't have a physical copy i would like the option to print the coloring book and have the dog stories. Option C is my third choice because it doesn't have the dog stories but I could still have the illustrations. An option B is my last choice because I would prefer to have both the coloring book and the dog stories
I prefer hard copies
