Which book cover do you prefer?

I like the one with the person in it, makes it feel more real.
Apologies, but neither one is really great... given the choice, I'd choose A over B.
I choose A because there is an image of the author.
I thought it jumped out at you a little more then the other one .
This guy seems pretty warm. I like the text layout and the clean art here
A looks more professional and the clipart in B did not catch my eye.
seems more personal
I like the layout on this one but I would not have a picture. The font and the color scheme look great.
I picked this one because it really makes me think of a self help book should look like, while the other one looks like a romance novel, that is why I picked this one.
The heart is an interesting addition.
Its always nice to see a human face along with emotion
The other choice is too plain
The picture gives the book a more personal feel. I don't like that "Negative Self Talk" is show twice on the cover.
I like the picture of the author on Choice A better.
I like the image with the author on it. It feels more genuine with his photo on it. I think that choice B needs more whitespace. It is too big of a font also.
choice B looks very generic
To me, this cover has a warmer, more inviting illustration on it. The over cover has a very bright and almost jarring white background with dark colored lettering on it. Option A's softer hues are easy on the eyes.
The author's picture makes it seem a bit more interesting--but both could be better.
I don't know if it was intentional (though it probably is), I think having the man on the cover looking sad actually adds something to the title of the book.

The guy freaks me out on this cover.
I Chose B because I don't care for the picture of the man on the cover of the book. I just want a clean, minimalist looking cover on my books.
I like the clean design of this cover.
I like how the words take up most of the cover. The photo of man doesnt really add anything to the cover
I prefer this option that places an emphasis on the title and content of the book. I do not need to see an image of the author.
I LIKE THE TYPOGRAPHY DESIGN OF OPTION B BY FAR BETTER
B is easier to read
It's more interesting than looking at a picture of a guy I don't know.
this one seems less personal, more authentic self help book
I don't think a picture of a person is necessary. This other cover catches my attention better.
I like this one more, the other is freaky with the guy on it.
don't care for the picture of the dude
Better layout and design.
The little heart logo for "negative self-talk" looks very out of place on both covers. I chose B because with just a colored script it looks less out of place, but my ideal cover would be A, with the author's photo, WITHOUT the weird illustrated heart.
I PREFER THE LOGO WITHOUT THE CHEESY HEART
I think the font and layout pulls me in more. It looks like the book would be more interesting than Option A. It looks less clinical and like a potentially more light, potentially humorous read.
It seems more friendly.
It catches the attention better. in A, the author looks like a regular guy (of course) just like me. B is more mysterious and 'bigger' like it holds secrets that us regular guys dont' know.
I like option B the cover is appealing to me .
While it's a little bit harder to parse the title in that design, I still prefer B, because I like the version of the cover without the author.
I like the cover without the picture of the author better. It is bolder, stands out more, and doesn't change the idea of the book by seeing the author's picture.
I do not like the photo or the tatoo. Looks wierd to me to be honest.
I don't want to see a picture of an old man on the over looking at me, when I'm already feeling bad about myself and the negative talk I hold.
The clipart on the other seems to cheapen the cover and doesn't really add anything.
I think it is weird to put the author's picture on the cover
This cover of the book looks more legitimate than a picture of the author - it doesn't look like the book is trying to sell something to me.
Option B is much more visually appealing and relatable. The man in the image of Option A wouldn't fit in with most people's self view and would turn a number of people off on the book itself. Option B is more relatable and fits better with the topic and them of the book. Option B would get a wider audience of people interested and willing to pick the book up off the shelf and see what it has to offer.
I picked B because I would most likely pick up a book that does not have a creepy looking man on the cover.
More obvious and detailed
That guy is creepy
I don't think a picture of a person should be on the front
