I prefer Choice A. The cover includes an image of the "she" from the tagline, as well as the man. This gives me a better idea of who the main female character is - young, tough, and capable. I want to learn more about her.
I like the way the woman is superimposed on the shirt.
I like the shadowy lady on this one
This is much better than the other one
I like this cover more because it brings in both characters mentioned in the tagline for the book. Option A makes it clear right when you look at it that it will be about two people, but option B makes it seem like the main is the main focus and the book isn't really about anyone else. Without knowing anything else about the book, I think option A gives you a better idea of what it will be about.
As a proud gun owner, I am always intrigued to see a story where there is a strong woman gun owner.
I like A a lot better because the image of the girl adds a lot of mystery to the cover picture and that gets my attention first over B.
The more appealing book cover is option A because the lady make a great difference.
the one that shows the woman in the corner is a little more mysterious
Even though a part of me thinks the female is in awkward location, but a bigger part of me likes it. B feels plain compared to A, though it isn't bad.
I find this cover to be a lot more interesting and intriguing.
MUCH more interesting! Having the woman in there subtly is very mysterious.
The cover for A makes the book seem very exciting and seems like the story will be full of action and twists. I would pick it up to read it.
I like this because it looks more distinctive and makes me think that there might be an interesting woman character.
Choice A was more appealing to me because it was more intriguing and makes me more interested in finding out what happens.
The woman holding up the gun adds some mystery and romance to the book cover, whereas B just looks overly masculine.
the woman's image on A makes the cover more interesting yet mysterious
I like the strong woman on the side of the man, so I picked A.
I like that option A's book cover shows the girl and a bit of the guy. I also like that she's in the mist on the guys shirt which makes her seem more mysterious and the fact that you don't see his head makes him more mysterious.
The woman's face makes me very curious about the plot.
I like the woman hidden in the man's coat. It looks like a murder mystery rather than a sex book.
The female brings a flare to the book cover that Option B (without female) lacks. It also makes me wonder why she's holding up a hand gun. It makes me a little more intrigued on what the product is.
This cover makes me think that the book has a little more depth than your average romance story. I like the image of the strong woman and the sexy man together it makes me want to ask more questions about the book.
I think having the girl be semi-transparent on his clothing makes it a little unique from the generic body shots alone.
I prefer A, because it refers to both main characters.
In conjunction with the small text at the bottom, I prefer the image in Option A. If the text at the bottom was not there, I would then choose Option B.
B LOOKS MORE STRAIGHT ROMANCE. A LOOKS MORE ADVENTUROUS AND FASTPACED AND DANGEROUS.
It has the girl in it is a love story wouldn’t you want the girl in the picture too
The hidden woman in in the label of the jacket makes this cover stand out above option B, something different
It shows both characters being referred to in the blurb.
This one shows both main characters, and someone's actual face.
I strongly prefer A because the woman holding the gun is really intriguing and adds some mystery to the cover.
ilike this one obecause it shows a girl in there. so it might be interested to see if this girl is part of the plot
I choose option A. It is definitely the better photo. I love the fact that the woman is featured along with this handsome man. I think it better fits what the story seems to be about having the woman also portrayed on the cover.
I picked A over B because it fits the narrative given better with her image shown.
I like the image with the girl image on the jacket because if gives you a hint that there will be some intrigue
I think the girl with the gun adds a whole other dimension to this book
The woman looks like a vilan for the book.
I think this looks very good with the woman on the front. I like how the woman looks like the boss.
The second character on the cover of A adds more interest and depth to the cover. It makes the plot more intriguing and I would be more inclined to pick the book up.
Since the tagline mentions a woman, it doesn't make sense that there is no woman in the cover. Also, it is like a nice surprise that there is something sort of hidden on the jacket. It makes me feel like I am in on a secret. Third, it explains who is chasing whom.
Option A is definitely more appealing because there is a female with a gun on man's arm. This is much more intriguing and interesting.
I like both. But I think Option A is slightly more interesting to me. It would stand out against other book covers.
Option A gives more of an idea about what (I assume) the story is about and gives clues about the woman and the conflict.
An image of a girl, though not prominent, offers some intrigue. A gun in her hand makes a situation tense and provides a hint of mystery.
I like the mystery of the woman in the mist, it adds a sense of mystery and suspense.
The placement of the female character is weird, but having a second person adds a lot of visual interest. The other option is standard romance-novel-cover boilerplate imagery. Nothing stands out, and it's a little cliche and boring. Adding the second character, especially since she has a weapon, adds a layer of mystery, intrigue, danger - gives it more of a spy/adventure feeling. Just wish it was placed a little better so it didn't look like it was printed on the male character's shirt.
I choose A because the girl's face with the gun is intriguing and would make me want to read this book more. It gives the idea that it isn't just a sleazy romance novel.
i like the ghost image of the girl because the title implies trying to chase after her
This one. It's much more alluring and appealing seeing the woman with a gun there, posed in a mysterious way. it adds to the mystery and intrigue and makes me wonder even more what this lady is all about-- is she a cop, is she a stalker, what is her deal. Seeing the outline of her face adds to the mystery.
prefer A... like the female image on the robe
They both look bad, but I would pick option A over option B. Option B looks like a cover for a stripper show, and option A show a bit more of a story.
It shows that the book contains suspense and thriller, rather than just being a cheesy romance.
I chose A because it seems more unique and modern
the girl in the picture stands out more
The second cover with the girl is more appealing because it adds an air of mystery to the cover
The words on the cover lead to a her/she and Option A has the image of female which makes this cover more interesting than the other.
I like A with the woman holding a gun. That says intrigue.
Choice A has more information in the picture that gives more of an excitement to the book. Choice B is a standard cover of what at first glance looks like a romance book. Most people have to have an eye-catching cover to even pick the book up to look which Choice A has that extra something special.
the women hinted at in the jacket area, gives this some mystery and also eludes to some drama and perhaps romance..lets me know there is more then one main character at play
I think it is important to have the female face on the cover so that I can know more what the book is about.
Considering there is another female character in the book, I would prefer the one where you can actually see the female on the cover.
the woman in his shirt holding a gun is very intriguing
Option A has more details about the book then B. The girl in the picture is a good touch.
I was going to say B but then I saw the tagline in relation to the photo, so A works really well.
I like that this one shows both the "he" and the "she" that is mentioned

The woman is just distracting from the main focus of this, which is the male chest.
I liked that option B, didn't include the woman in the photo. It just looks kind of weird with her appearing in the jacket.
I feel like the woman's picture in the jacket of A just looks like the cover went through one too many layers of photoshop, it's trying too hard. I like the less is more approach on book covers, leave the reader wanting more.
I like choice B, the cover without the girl, it makes it easier to fantasize about the character, and part of the fun of reading is letting your imagination run wild.
I guess one of the nice things about novels is that you get to envision the characters yourself. Seeing the woman's face places the character's features already in my mind. I prefer reading the description and visualizing it myself.
The woman holding the gun is disconcerting.
Because the other one with the woman on the jacket looked too strange and weird
I just think choice A is a bit confusing so I like the more understandable choice B.
prefer the one just with the man. The one with the little picture of the woman looks stupid. It's oddly placed and the gun is stupid.
The face in the robe on A makes no sense
A is a little too over the top and dramatic. I like B more because you get the general idea but theres still some unknown.
I think having just a man’s chest with some steam coming off of it is very sexy and alluring. I feel that would make you want to read the book and see what it’s all about.
Option B because the one with the girl in it does not look right it looks unnatural
The image of the woman is a little awkward and creepy.
The first choice was creepy so I liked the second one better
I do not like the woman on the cover. It made it appear like there was a woman design on his robe which is weird and made me do a double take. Also it is kind of random that she has a gun compared to the main image.
I like this one better because it does not have the lady (which is distracting) in the design.
Don't need the girl
i chose option b because i like the cover better without the woman on it. she takes away from the man on the cover.
I feel the B is better than the A. I love its design and appearance. The image on the suit breast isn't really necessary in OPTION A. The book cover is good enough considering it's design in Option B
I like it a lot better without the girl. I feel like the girl makes it look like it's a cheap book.
I find Option B's bookcover to be more appealing. When compared to Option A, Option B feels like it would be a more substantial book with a better plot. It feels less cheesy. From not having the female image on his jacket, it just feels more legitimate.
Having the silhouette of the girl on the jacket lessens the desire for purchase.
The graphic of the woman is just too cheesy on the jacket.
A picture of a person on the jacket is kind of weird. Option A is also very crowded.
A is difficult to understand. The woman's arm could be mistaken as the man's
I don't like the woman's face in the other image. Option B is more simplistic
I like Option A better without the faint image of the woman. It is much more representative of the title highlighting the male figure only.
A is a little cheesy. B is more mysterious
I don't like the gun shown in A. Both are very risqué. The story sounds interesting.
It looks creepy with her in his jacket
I prefer the cover without the girl with a gun. The girl with the gun doesn't make me want to read it. I prefer less aggressive main female characters.
I like the one with out the woman in it better. She looks like a ghost.
I think B looks more enticing. A looks a little odd with the woman partially in the picture. I think for the audience that would read this book, only the guy on the cover would be best.
