I like the blue and yellow mix of colors.
looks more interesting for me
I like the brightness that the blue brings to the cover. It draws tour attention in
Colors of the ad are more pleasing to the eye than the other choice.
Choice A is more eye catching to me
I like the blue fade on the book cover and the pencils with the cop badge is unique and conveys the title nicely
The other design looks more like a manual at first
colors and pictures are more catchy
I like the colors and crime tape at bottom
It looks cooler and sleeker. The color is really rich and it goes well together.
I think the badge with the pencils stand out more and give the reader a better idea of what the book is about.
It stamds out more. It is busier, but I'd pick this book.up before the one in option B
more crisp then the other
It shows more images of the book.
It conveys the police theme much better
more color, looks way better than a
I like the graphic design better. The other one is too text book looking. If that is what you are hoping to achieve then that would be better.
I chose A because it states that it is about police and investigation procedures. This would help a writer a great deal.
Police procedure caught my eye. It looks more official to me.
I think the blue background causes the title to better stand out.
Cover A really pops and is much more noticeable
The design of Choice A looks more suitable than the design of Choice B. Choice A has flashing lights integrated into the book color, which seems unique, while Choice B seems to be going for police tape, but it doesn't come off well.
It has a more masculine look.
B seems immature. I also like the crime scene tape effect around the author's name in A.
B is kind of boring looking and does not stand out. Choice A has a lot more colors on it which makes it stand out. Also the colors used on option A are prettier looking. Option A looks shiny and bright and option B looks dull and unattractive. On option B the pencil in the "O" looks very out of place.
i like the badge on the cover as it makes complete sense
The badge and the caution tape is much more appealing. It draws attention because it's brighter than the other cover and looks like it would be an exciting read.
I like the variety of colors in Choice A as well as how the author's name is wrapped in "caution tape". Choice A is just a more creative background whereas Choice B seems so basic and the colors don't really make sense.

B looks more official. A looks like a cheap joke. B feels like it is more serious.
I selected the book cover because I feel the other cover has too many graphics. The other cover looks like something I would find on a video game cover. The one I selected is nice and clean looking.
I think this one is bolder and stands out. I think the text reminds me more of a crime story.
They are both good, but i like how the design on B mirrors police crime scene tape
Much nicer looking and it fits with the title well
The blue and yellow fits more of the idea of law enforcement.
B seems more like a reference book - I think it reminds me a little of the old clif notes. I think I'd guess fiction on first glance with A.
This seems more serious about the craft of writing. The other seems more cartoony or flashy and not as serious in my opinion.
The color scheme is more appealing to me
I like the way the pencil is shown on the cover in option b
I chose B because the cover is very bold yet has a simplistic design to it. Also the yellow and black color combination is very eye catching.
I would say B because the yellow stripes look like police line markers you would see at a crime scene. The badge in the center stands out more and is in a good flow with the rest of the design.
I prefer option B because the cover looks a little less busy and complicated to me. It is eye catching and simpler yet it still gets the point across regarding what subject matter of the book
It seems more like a reference book
The book is bigger and bold on here.
B is much more appealing - it is so clear what it is about and who it is for. The design of A makes it look like a novel, not a nonfiction book. The flashiness doesn't work for this
Simple. Less is more.
The Option B cover looks more modern. I would think that Option B was published more recently than Option A.
this one looks more professional and gives the image of law enforcement
A bit less busy and clearer cover.
I like the badge better on Option. It is clearly supposed to look like a law enforcement badge, the star gives that impression. Whereas the badge in option A looks more like a coat of arms at first glance. Also I like the way that Option B is not so busy, it shows the badge and pencil, its a very clean and straightforward look.
I could not see the "A reference for authors..." on Option A and I think that it is very important for the book's meaning.
