Which cover do you prefer for a book about HOW TO GO VEGAN
16 Responses to Option A
This looks a lot more natural and appetizing. I don't really like looking at models.
The woman in the photo is pretty ugly and do not want to see her.
The woman featured on Option B is smiling but appears to be rail thin. Option A is just showing the vegetable and should be the focus.
I don't generally like books with photos of people on the cover. I just don't think they look good. So I prefer the one that just has a photo of food.
Choice A has a cleaner and more pleasant cover image. The soft blue tone with the orange/yellow of the fruit makes a nice eye-catching contrast.
Unless the lady on the other cover wrote the book, I don't care to see her. Scratch that; I don't need to see her then, either.
Because I am a male, I prefer to not categorize veganism with feminine characteristics.
I like A because is less distracting and more focus on the subject of vegan.
I prefer the fruit based cover and the image is attractive, the other one looks like an AARP magazine
I think using the fruit itself is a great idea for the cover.
I chose option A as the choice that I would prefer for a book about how to go vegan because it is hard to take a book about healthy eating seriously with the picture of someone on the front cover. The image in option A doesn't have a person as the central image for a book that is about healthy eating.
This one is more interesting and less generic looking.
it looks more simple and easy to understand
more minimalist from a design perspective
I think Option B limits those who think the lifestyle would work for them, as beautiful as the woman is, it's intimidating and the meals themselves don't look all that appetizing. Option A is simple, eye catching and easy... anyone interested in being vegan will get it:)
Pictures with people on them can be alienating. The boldness of the squash is great on its own.

I prefer cover B because of the multi photos used it seems more appealing.
It is way better to show the different dishes. Overall better.
I like the food selection and the big smile. This cover is the one I prefer.
The food images are attractive.
B seems more relatable and friendly and approachable. A doesn't really make me want to open the book.
Shows more the one dish that looks good to eat compared to just the squash
I like all the different foods shown
The lady looks happy as well as happy and that is a big reason for why people go vegan. And the food on the first option did not look appetizing.
I prefer this version because the image shows a greater variety of food options. It is more interesting and engaging than the alternative option.
To me A does not look appealing. The colors and different options may entice people more than what is presented with A
I like Option B because I like the design better. I think that the woman in the cover makes the message more relatable and it appeals to me more. As a result, I like Option B a lot more than Option A.
Choice B is the best because of the the picture of the woman smiling with different food items. She looks healthy and makes you want to read!
I think having a person on the cover makes it a lot more personable, so I strongly prefer choice B.
Having a person on the cover focuses the eye and grabs the viewer's attention
I think this makes me feel more positive, and seeing the food variety makes it more interesting.
The different foods are more appealing so I'd go with that cover. I also think it would be beneficial to have that women's face if she is the author because it attaches some personality to the book.
i would take the woman off the cover but I do like the variety of dishes on the cover
I like the author on the book cover.
Wider variety of foods, colors, and a smiling face.
Option appears to give more information on the product and is eye catching
I prefer seeing the lady than inside a piece of fruit?
i like more this one, look more professional
the cute women makes the book cover stick out
For diet books, I always prefer to see what the person who is writing it looks like along with some food options.
I chose B, because I like that it illustrates more menu choices on the cover.
It shows the delicious food that I can eat as a vegan.
Absolutely B. Too often people have misconceptions that being vegan is an unhealthy lifestyle choice. B has a picture of a youthful and vibrant model along with several pictures of artisanal, healthy and delicious food options. Both of those items together are more of a selling point than just a picture of a squash.
I prefer to see the different dishes and the arrangement is pleasant. Also the main image is inviting and shows a good personality behind the book.
Complete meal images are preferred.
it shows the options on the cover which makes it attractive for selection
I prefer seeing the ladies face it makes it more personal and make it seem like it is more used by people like me.
I chose B because I love the spread on the cover. It gives you the feel there would be much information inside the magazine. The woman on the cover looks really happy and care free. I believe there would be great recipes in the magazine based on the pictures. There would most likely be much information on foods that vegans can and can't eat. There may even be information on events that are being held for vegans and interested parties nearby such as festivals.
Shows an example of vegan dishes one can have.
I like the fact that it shows some of the made recipes on the cover. I don't know if that woman is the author, if so it is fine that she is on there. Otherwise, I think that the picture of the woman is overly large for the importance of having a person on it. I would prefer that the cover just have lots of food items that have been prepared so I could see what some of the recipes would be.
