Which cover do you prefer for a book about self-discovery through hair?

Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 28 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
B | 36% 18 votes | 56% 28 votes +10 |
C | 38% 19 votes | 44% 22 votes +3 |
A | 26% 13 votes | Eliminated 13 votes reassigned |

I love the first two! I love that they show the bob and exactly what it is. The snake as a barrette in the second is really interesting.
Not that crazy about any of htem.
Simpler is going to be better. Ranked in order of aesthetic preference.
I like both A and B a lot in their style. The snake obviously fits the theme in B, but I think it works without it too. C is definitely eye catching but perhaps a bit too noisy.
easiest to read what it is at a catching glance and understand what it is
The book title talks about a bob, and I like that it shows the bob. Also, I like the peach color.
I like the cute little image used here.
Option A has the best visual appeal for me. The colors are eye catching but yet you can read the cover easily, not true for C. Option B has what looks like a snake in her hair and although it is about Medusa, it has a creepy connotation. Still B is more visually appealing than C. C is too busy and you spend too much time trying to read the font. It would be better if the font was clearer.
Option A catches for attention more
I don't really care for C. There is too much going on which is why it is last. My favorite color is orange so that's why i picked that one. There's no major difference between A and B
A - this one is the most appealing and has you wondering what it's about since there's no snakes on the cover.B - this one is not as appealing but is much, much better than the third option.C - I do not like this one at all. The colors are very harsh.
I choose the books in this order while looking at the colors on the books and the font size. I also do not like snakes really so I choose option B last because I felt the random 1 snake in the hair just was not very eye pleasing.
I prefer my first choice because of the lack of a snake, and my least favorite option is because of the color scheme and that it is hard to read.

I prefer the brighter, lighter color scheme. Because it is a self discovery book, this color scheme is warm and more inviting.
The text is easiest to read.
The purple cover is impossible to read
The first option is my favorite because not only can you read the title clear, it has a snake to refer to her.
I chose the option I did because it actually shows a bob haircut, but there is also a snake in the hair to represent Medusa. I think it is a fun and eye catching cover. I also like the color scheme.
I like the image of the woman's bob haircut with the side on it, screams Medusa with a bob to me. The other traditional Medusa look with all the snakes coming out at every angle, also screams Medusa, but without a bob and the last option doesn't say Medusa at all, only screams a bob haircut to me.
I like the overall look of my first choice based on the title
Brings up a visual in my imagination most vividly.
I like the style of A and B but like how B incorporates the snake. I also like the font and colors better in B. In A it doesn't even look like a bob.
I prefer Choice B, which combines the Medusa element (the snake) with the bob silhouette. It combines two different styles, which seems like the point of the book (exploring identity through different styles and combinations thereof). I prefer the classic Medusa image (Choice C) over the bob by itself (Choice A).
It looks cooler in that order
I choose B then A because these books are clear and easy to read.
I like the little snake in B I love the purple in C but it needs a picture. A is boring
I like B because it shows the girl in a bob, but also a snake so it fits the title the best. I like C mostly because it's different and unique. A is okay, but without the snake it doesn't really fit.
B looked the cleanest to me
I think this is the most creative cover.
I like the white and orange look the most. Second is the white and gold, then the purple is the one I liked the least.
I think it looks better to have the snake in the hair, though I'd use the color scheme and font of A and mix it with the picture on B. C is just overall uninteresting compared to the other two.

I like the first one because it suggests wild and crazy hair. The other two really don't make me think about hair at all.
This is the order in which I would even pick them up. I think both B and A seem childish so they aren't books I would give a second glance to.
C is by far the most colorful and interesting cover. B & A are so similar it doesn't matter much. But C is definitely the most appealing.
I chose C first because it has that subtext about what the book is about and makes me more intrigued to want to read it.
I really like Option C, and I think the border is elegant. The other two seem a little less professional. Especially the font.
This one stands out
It is important that the picture relates to the Mythology of Medusa.
I don't really care for the last two with the cartoon bob, and would prefer the one that looks like Medusa, but if you have to use the bob, the snake links things better.
Option A and B are really hard to read and don't look very well put-together. Option C captures my attention with bold colors and explains what the book is about right on the cover with an image that matches. I definitely would look at C
None of these covers are very good, but C is the only one that makes it clear what it is about because the subtitle is after the title. By having the subtitle at the top of the other covers, it is easy to miss. Those covers look like it could be fiction because of that. it would be too easy to miss what the book actually is.
I might be in the minority but I like 1 the best because its not AS plan. It reminds me of the great gatsby. I would read all three but this is the one that catches my eye the best.
I think C is definitely the most fitting cover for a book about Medusa, with the snakes and border. The second has a snake and I think the gold is more eye catching!
This one best reminds me of Medusa, which I think fits well.
Option C stands out quite a bit. It's unique and the colors stand out strongly as well
I picked C first because its the loudest cover and would most likely grab the most attention. I chose B for the second one because unlike A it has a little more going on on the cover. I think A is very basic.
it looked more exciting to read
Option C was my first choice because it is a lot more intriguing than B and A. Having the medusa on the head really pulled me in.
I loved the colors in Open C. Then I did not like the smaller in Option B.
The first place cover showed Medusa with a full head of hair (snakes). The title "Medusa Looks Good in a Bob" allows the user to visualize the transformation mentally with all the snake heads cut off. The 2nd place tries to relate Medusa (snake) and bob hairstyle, but it is unsuccessful. The third place cover imagery does not tie to Medusa at all.
