Which cover do you prefer for a Korean Short Stories for Beginners book?
Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 30 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
B | 44% 22 votes | 60% 30 votes +8 |
C | 36% 18 votes | 40% 20 votes +2 |

While I like the artwork better on B the information on A is better.
the focus on the buildings and culture with the covers of A and C are appealing for the title of the book
The red cover is brilliant and beautiful. The other two are alright, though neither of them has the sheer wow factor of the bright red cover.
Option A promises a free audio download. That has to get parents, teachers and know ds excited. Option B has a great cover, something the younger readers would love. Option C does not get me interested as much, but serves the purpose of delivering the message well.
Put a human face on those stories! As such, Option A works best in terms of generating reader interest.
I think red is always a good choice for a language book, the yellow stands out. I would certainly pick it off a shelf.
I choose in the order of which is easier to comprehend
Option A is preferred. Options that include audio is preferred. Option A gives a better description of contents than Option B.
If i were going to a book store this afternoon, looking for a specific book on Korean short stores, this is the exact order in which I would purchase them off of a open shelf, decided based on their cover art work and advertising. A,B,C in this exact order. Would purchase all 3 options.
I would prefer the cover on option A because of its color which is attractive and the image on it which captures my attention.

I love the traditional looking artwork on choice "B". Neither of the other choices really stand out to me.
I love the art in Choice B, I immediately noticed it and felt interested before I even read the title.
I chose B as !y first choice because I like the colors used, the graphics and how it relates to the culture. I chose A as my second choice because I like the brightness, the accent t colors, the graphics, and the highlights. I chose C as my third choice because I like the graphics, the font style and co!or, and the text description.
B is the best because it shows an animal which attracts more readers including the younger ones. C is the worst because the globe shown is a bit too complicated.
B is the best book cover for Korean Short Stories for Beginners. The tiger is very eye-catching and gives off an authentic vibe (I'm Korean-American, BTW). From there, I think A is a good #2 because of how large the free audio DL label is, emphasizing value. C is alright but it comes across as a tour guide or something more than an instructional tool.
The classic look of B really wins me over, so I would go with that one. The other two just look too modern and bland.
Option B looks the most intriguing. I like the picture that fits the information about the book containing traditional folktales.
BI feel is the most reflective of what the book is about, and meshes the best with it.
This has the most interesting cover that seems authentic to the Korean culture
I made my choice based on which image really makes me curious to open the book and learn more. I felt that the image with the odd looking creature really made me want to pick up the book and learn about the story and environment.
Option B has a higher quality image which is more attractive compared to the other options.
It looks more authentic and less generic than the others. The art is also very nice. Although the descriptions on the others are a little better, this design is far superior.
Option B is the best look. Love the cat there and the Korean text there. That looks excellent and I'd use that for the first choice. Option C is not bad and love the globe there. Option A works too and that is a nice look as well.
I chose option B because the image draws me eye more. The artwork is more interesting than the photoshop in the other options
I chose by covers that look the most interesting and professional.
I liked the cat. It really caught my attention and aroused my curiosity. It's big eyes really stand out. So I voted B highest. I liked the "audio download" in A, making it my second choice. C is fine. The graphic is good, but the other two grabbed my attention first.
I like that B emphasizes the traditional aspect and leans in to more of the history. C looks too much like a textbook or manual. A looks too stereotypical.
option B because the image is very eye-catching and easy to understand the wording.
B first looks the most exciting cover because it represents the culture well. Second pick is C because I like the mature looking cover and has the flag. Third pick is A because I like the red with the buildings on the front.
Choice B has good artwork that stands out over the others.
I picked B because it included traditional Korean art.
Anmials on the cover of books are always a good selller, cowboy looking person 2n choice .

I prefer option C because the illustration looks the best to out of all the pictures. Option B has a good cover as well but it just does not look at pleasing as option C. Option A does not really look good, just a generic cover.
I thought the illustration was best for option C followed second by option B
Choice C is the best, the cover is attractive and grabs my attention. Choice A and B are kind of bland and boring.
I choose C, Because the cover is more attractive and appealing it's more suitable with the book cover and I like it more.
The White background is pacifying and doesn’t overpower the text.
Option C is a very interesting cover. It mixes a very modern design with language mastery. All the pertinent information is either in bold or a vivid color like red. The Central image is interesting and informative as it is a small version of the Korean flag. The brand name is prominently displayed as well.Option A is a colorful cover and very traditional. Quite the contrast to the more modern version of Option C. Option A does highlight the audio download component of the lessons which is a strong plus. The traditional cover looks outdated, but the red color definitely gets your attention.Option B needs to be tossed in the pile of what not to do. The poor tiger in the cover has an expression like the vet just took its temperature using a rectal thermometer. It is not a great image... funny, yes... but not a great image for selling language books. That tiger needs to poke its eyes back in its poor head and relax a little.Option C looks modern and interesting. It conveys a confidence that this book could help you learn Korean.
Option c and option a both have the Korean flag in it, I think that's an essential part of the cover
I don't find any of these especially appealing, however "C" is the least "try hard" design of the three. Book covers with "Free download" graphics are extremely offputting, it makes it seem like the book itself is subpar. For this reason, "B" is second because the "Free" graphic is considerably smaller than "A".
I just went with what speaks to me most when it comes to learning simpler and basic is better in a cover because then I think the text is basic and easier to comprehend.
"C" is for beginners and has short stories. A great way to learn a new language.
I preferred option C the most because it looked the most professional. Both options A and B had odd cartoon-like images. Option B was the worst, I would not buy it because the cat looked weird.
Option C looks the best for beginners. The cover's design is simple, which conveys that the text inside will be simple. Option B's cover is too nice and says "intermediate or advanced" to me
I like the art work on option C the best and also like how it teaches you Korean via short stories. I feel that based on the cover alone that option C would be the best choice to try and learn the language with.
Choice C shows more comforting graphics and design that make it a more appealing option and one where one can grasp the concept without being overwhelmed.
The individual on A seems a bit stereotypical and offensive. I picked the one with the globe and flag to be the most diplomatic.
I THINK C HAS THE COOLEST COVER, I THINK B IS UNIQUE BUT ITS NOT MY TASTE. I THINK A MAY BE CONSIDERED INSULTING TO KOREANS BY SOME.
I prefer the option C Korean language learning book because I like the illustration of the world and the easy Korean stories description shown here the most. I chose option A second because I like the illustrations and the easy stories emphasis shown on this book cover but do not like the red color as much. I chose option B last because the symbols are not easy to understand on this book cover without having already learned Korean and the cat creature looks strange and unrelated to language learning.
I personally think that Option C is a more fun looking book to read for such a level of study. Thank you.
