Which image looks better and why?
76 Responses to Option A
I like A more as it has some color to it and doesn't look as bland as what B shows in my opinion.
As much as I like the optical illusion on the cover of the book shown in option B, I think the artwork in option A feels more dreamlike or imagined.
B is very plain and boring. A is much more colorful and appealing
I really like the color oragami figures in option A, which draws my attention more.
B fits the concept well but is just not eye catching enough.
This is such a pretty cover that matches the title very well.
A is more bright and creative, looks more unique and matches much more the general idea.
I get what you're doing with B, but I feel that image is played out and also the black and white is just not eye catching. And sure you can imagine faces or a chalice, but the color image with the oragami actually tapps more into the imagation. Also, the font is easier to read and the layout is just more eye-catching.
I prefer this because it looks far better as compared to the other.
The colors on this image make it better.
The cover on Option A makes more sense and better aligns with the idea of the title being presented.
I prefer Option A because I think it looks more fun and it includes an evolution of imagination like mentioned in the subtitle with the crumbled paper evolving into something different.
I like A better because I think the images make it stand out over B.
I choose A because it is approachable. The colors and paper ducks make it look warm and friendly. B looks scholastic and dry.
Neither cover is very interesting. A shows some movement which is better. A is close to an optical illusion illustration
To me the paper crafts are a cool cover that bring contrast to the piece.
Something about the colored origami just screams sophisticated. Someone with a sharp mind wrote this and that’s attractive to my brain
A HAS BETTER COLOR COMBINATION AND LOOKS MORE APPEALING TO THE EYE.
I know the image in B is a classic eye trick image, but since the book is about "evolving" your existence, I think it makes more sense to show something starting from one type of object and ending up a completely different thing. Plus the colors on the cover of A look more inviting and alive. Like there is activity happening, which feels more stimulating than the other one.
(A) seems more optimistic and therefore might be more useful for self-improvement.
The colors and layout of the cover of option A look professional and a step above those of option B.
A is colorful and creative, so I prefer A over B which is black and white.
I think A looks better because it feels more powerful and inspiring, and the use of color makes it more visually engaging.
The design in A is attractive with colorful images so I chose A.
Everything about this is just better. The addition of color in the font and the images. Also the large font in the title and medium font for the author's name. All these things draw your eyes into this book cover.
I think the origami are more intrigueing.
I like the color on this color. I think it is more attention grabbing and looks more high quality.
I like the idea of reframing my reality.
I understand and appreciate the illusion in #B. However, I like the imagery in #A of soaring from the ground/water, and I also like the color.
I like that the cover has some color to it and the art is well done. The font choice was a nice pick, I like the bold strongest it has.
Option A seems a lot more approachable to read. I am more drawn to the colors and design. The black and white seem too passable.
I would say the more colorful Choice A looks better. It's also a bit more thought-provoking than B is, which seems very relevant to the presumed theme of the book.
The colorful art seems mostly appropriate for the subject matter and seems more lively than the black-and-white alternative design.
it looks less like it was created in picsart, and more depth and is more eyecatching
I feel like this is a better image, that has a much greater appearance. It is very colorful and has a significant level of excitement. It does grasp my attention and I am very interested in learning more about this book.
The color combination and the way the text was written made me go for it.
I prefer A it is more colorful, upbeat and inviting looking than the plain black and white cover.
I prefer Option A because it is bolder, more colorful, more compelling and more memorable.
Option A is more interesting and attention grabbing for me. I like the colors on the white background. Next to each other, I would grab A to see what it is about.
The colors and the images were more attractive and eye-catching.
I like this one the best I like how the colors make everything stand out on the cover , it gives it more appeal and not dull and boring
I chose A because it literally just looks better. But also because it is childlike and most people compare imagination (which appears to be the theme of the item) to children.
I prefer book covers with color
This cover is more colorful and catches my attention more quickly.
the image is lighter and colorful so it presents a positive picture
I prefer the splash of color that the origami figures provide on such a stark white cover. It draws my attention and acts as a nice highlight for the cover.
I like both covers; option B with the optical illustion is cool and demonstrates perception can be deceptive but option A's cover demonstrates the entire concept more completely by using the oragami to demonstrate how you can change one thing (that is, the paper) to create something different/new/better. Option B's cover doesn't really underscore your control over the situation. I also prefer the typography on option A's cover; option B has boring/passive typography to my eye.
Option a has more color and is alot more noticeable the cover would make me want to discover more about the book.
Option A seems better choice for me. I liked this book cover more. Very magical, colorful and positive cover. I loved these birds, very nice and cute.
I like option A the best. I like the color and the fictual characters on the cover. they look really good
I believe Option B is too plain and relies on a very common optical illusion. Option A is more imaginative and the coloring is more attention-grabbing.
The color and design are more eye-catching and imaginative. I feel it fits the title better. Option B is strange and unnecessarily abstract.
I like the use of colors, it looks for vivid and really catches my eyes.
I like this one with the paper colored origami and the colors stand out much more. It has more of an interesting and interactive cover. The other one is just black and white and boring
I can see what B is going for here, with the optical illusion cup-or-faces thing on the theme of imagination, but A is more colorful and eye-catching, and looks better presented. The title in capitals and the subtitle in regular text is congruent with the relationship between those two things, while in A they're backwards and so clash. B also does jive well with the 'evolve' theme of the subtitle.
More color eye grabbing the origami images inspire creativity, and the red text demands attention.
The colors grab my attention. The black and white one does not stand out
I prefer A and find it more calming.
i think the color in this one looks better and fits the theme of the book. The other one kind of gives off a negative vibe to me.
the origami is a good analogy and the colors and overall design is much more interesting than the other option.
I like the symbolism on this cover rather than the dual interpretation picture of the other
The sharp colors in A look better than in B with black and white.
A is light years ahead of the other one. First all the vibrant colors make it look like it is an imagination. Also with the origami people create those from imagination so it just looks like a dream is being made
The colors! The font colors matching the ones in the figures draws you in and invites you to read the text. The black and white is much too harsh looks almost judgemental.
The one with the black chalice on the cover looks so grim. I like the more colorful cover.
Option A is more eye catching and draws the eye immediately. Option B is not as easy to read and especially in thumbnail size would be very difficult to read and may even be unreadable.
i loved the graphics and the colors
More colorful cover makes it more interesting
I think the cover on A is more interesting, and the colors are more eyecatching. I think the symbolism of the paper origami is clever and gets across the theme of reshaping your perspective to evolve.
The colors in Option A pique my interest immediately. For this reason, Option A is my top pick.
I like the image that has a variety of colors and a more upbeat look to it more.
color stands out and really grabs attention and makes one look at the cover.
I like this image with the design on the cover
I prefer option A. It looks the closest to what I would want to imagine.
A has a much more colorful, appealing and imagining cover. I would be more likely to check out option A whereas B is very basic and seems more like the cover of a horror novel almost
I prefer A as it has some color to the design -- B is very boring.

Given the theme of the book and the subtitle, I like the cover in B. I think the optical illusion is a clever way to emphasize the theme of re-imagining and re-framing reality as you know it and reassessing your perspective.
The picture on this kind of goes along with the title so it is he better choice..
The use of the famous optical illusion to make a point is interesting and packs a punch
The image in option B looks better. It is more fitting with the book title since the photo is an illusion
I like this cover. It plays on that test they use to determine what you see. I think people would be more inclined to look at this cover of the book.
I preferred Option B because I felt the optical illusion really tapped into the imagine and reality part of the overall title. Option A was probably a little better at the "evolve" but that is a bit of a stretch as it's still origami.
The graphic on the cover of Option B makes obvious the reframing referred to in the subtitle. However, the black and white color scheme is a little boring. I do like the minimalistic vibe and touch of color in Option A. I wish the symbolism was stronger in that option.
The duality of the optical illusion fits the theme better.
the imagery itself is more interesting as it can be interpreted multiple ways and it also meshes well with the title
I think that this one reminds me of one of those inkblot type photos and I like that put together with the title, it makes me think about how just because you envision how things are doesn't mean that's how they always have to be.
The look of B really makes one think with the optical illusion cover. Quite intriguing!
I prefer B because the cover is more simple and understated, while still being bold and eye-catching.
I like b with the selective imagery. Fits into the title well
I think it is more clever with the optical illusion.
Using the optical illusion on the cover fits the book title. Has a very engaging look.
These both have great symbolism, but in different ways. I like A slightly better because of the creation aspect, where B has more of a perpective aspect. I'm not sure which is more suitable to the text within the book.
I think they've both great, but that two-sided image in Option B really drives home the title's claim.
This is a hard one, they're both so different but I like them both alot. I think B catches my eye quickest though.
I like the way Option B is setup so that the optical illusion should be noticeable as people read the title, subtitle and then author's name. That pretty clever and I think people will feel like maybe they would be able to understand the book and apply it.
The optical illusion on B is eye-catching and fits with the title and tagline.
I think Option B is more visually appealing with the stark black and white design. The verbiage does not get lost as in Option A which pattern and color is too busy.
I love this option because of the optical illusion imagery. It goes well with the title.
I like that this image takes your imagination and runs with it. Is it 2 faces or a vase? It's all about how you look at it.
I like the optical illusion, many are familiar with it. Is it a vase or faces?Eye catching and goes well with the title.
