I'm writing a book on how to attract and hire great people. What title do you like the best?
There was no majority winner of this Ranked poll after 2 rounds of vote counting. However, Option A and Option B had the most votes (25).
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
A | 44% 22 votes | 50% 25 votes +3 |
B | 50% 25 votes | 50% 25 votes |
C | 6% 3 votes | Eliminated 3 votes reassigned |

Obsession Hiring sounds a little creepy but I like the other two.
The last one makes no sense
Authentic Hiring sounds positive and reflects the type of people that you would want to hire.
I prefer options A and B about the same. Not a fan of Option C at all.
I like the buzzword "authentic," more friendly to read
The "hiring" words makes it more attractive to me to see.
I like Option A because the title is straightforward and it gives me a pretty good idea of what the book will be about. I like how honest it sounds and it sounds a lot better than the other Options. The other Options aren't as engaging and doesn't interest me a much. As a result, I like Option A a lot better than the other Options.
A obviously sounds realer. B sounds interesting. C is not good.
I chose A because I like the word Authentic in the title. It makes it sound REAL and inviting. B is not bad but Winning the talent war to me sounds more like a talent show or the arts than attracting to hire people for jobs. Obsession hiring sounds like a disease. I don't know of anyone that likes to be obsessed with anything.
Authentic hiring would be the best it lets us know what it is about but still makes it sound intriquing.
Authentic is a very position term. Winning is good, but war isn't. Obsession is bad.
I like A and B nearly equally, but really dislike C.
I don't like thinking about non-war things as a "war" really. Authentic hiring sounds nice.
Authentic is getting one of a kind or the best.
I picked the answer that makes the book look the most legitimate and informative.
I like the one mentioning authentic best, folowing by winning the hiring war
I ranked the tiles of a book I would most likely read.
I think Authentic Hiring is the most intelligent title of them all that would make me curious to crack open the book.
Authentic Hiring caught my attention first because I felt, that by reading it, I would learn how to really find good hones employees.
I believe everyone should be authentic in everything that they do which is why I like Choice A the most. Choice B sounded cool. Choice C sounded bad because of the word obsession.
I ranked them in which jumped out at me and which would interest me to read the book.
Authentic Hiring sounds the most helpful for a book about hiring people. It's the one that would intrigue me the most. I really don't like using the word obsession in the name because it feels negative. Winning the Talent War is ok, but it's not clear that it's for the hirer and not the person being hired. I dislike obsession hiring a lot more though, so I chose it third.

I ranked them in order as I foun them informative.
Obsession just sounds bad, so I eliminated it first. Then I thought that "Wining the Talent War" is great. Very evocative. A wasn't spectacular, but still better than C.
A and C dont make any sense for this subject matter to me...
This is more indicative of the goal, if you want to attract talent then you have to 'fight' for it. It has a more competitive feel without being creepy (I think 'Obsession' is a scary word.)
I chose B as my top pick because it is very positive.
Hiring can be for those applying for the job a competition. Those doing the hiring can seem like an obsession and a war.
Winning and Authentic are better, more positive words than obsession.
Option B is the nest title, the other two are negative.
The word winning is appealing to me and grabs my attention.
Winning the talent war sounds like the most unique and engaging title to use. I think this title will attract more potential buyers for the book.
I liked Option B the best because the title is to the point and also eye-catching, without being overwhelming.
I think the first option gives me more "hope" that the book will be helpful to me.
I like the first two options. The only option that I did not care for was option C. The other two felt more relatable to me.
The first one is about winning talent. Authentic hiring is boring.
More believable simple
Option B feels like it has genuine content and they put effort into thinking of a name while option C doesn't sound generic and has an appeal (i.e. what does this book contain? people will pick it up to check). Option A is too straight forward and not very interesting overall.
The first one is a lot more attractive by far
Winning the talent war is far and away my favorite title of the 3, obsession hiring is my least favorite because I don't like the word obsession in the title of a non-fiction book im reading. It might seem like a romance novel to people who glance at what I'm reading.
Choice B is much more pro-active.
B is the best and real catchy. Winning the talent war is very specific to hiring great people. It fits perfectly. C I like the word obsession and option A is kinda boring and I really wouldn't go with that for it doesn't really grab you like the first one does.
Winning The Talent War has the most exciting and interesting sound, it makes it seem like there's some excitement.
i think option B is the best one because its gives the sense of competition and gets you fired up
I think this title is the most dynamic and would make me think it contained helpful information on how to attract good people to hire. I think any title that makes people think they can win draws their attention.
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THE WORD WINNING IT'S VERY POSITIVE. A TELLS ME THEY ARE HIRING BUT I DON'T LIKE THE SOUND OF AUTHENTIC HIRING. C OBSESSION DOESN'T CREATE A POSITIVE IMAGE I THINK OF OBSESSION AS A NEGATIVE
I chose option B because I think that's exactly what it is. Right now there are so many open positions and only so many job seekers to go around. How can you be the most attract the best people.

The shorter titles seem to have the creative touch and I find they're more unique than the longer one (involving winning the talent war). I would stick to those involving hiring.
obsession is a strong word.
The first one is the most memorable and catchy to me. The other ones sound basic and just don't stick out in my opinion.
