Please choose and explain your favorite SUBTITLE for a self-help book for coaches. The book introduces a new personality profile and the way to use it in coaching with any client or group from kids to adults. The title is Don't change them: grow them
There was no majority winner of this Ranked poll after 6 rounds of vote counting. However, Option G and Option E had the most votes (25).
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

4 Responses to Option A
I like the options that mention the 8 minute aspect of all it taking. Choice A is the most appealing overall because I prefer the wording and it sounds the most convincing and thorough.
I prefer option A because this subtitle is the most relatable, enticing, promising and relevant, easy to process and understand.
I likes choice A since the statement is more direct and to the point while sounding confident. Choice B sounds too simple and plain and has a more Christian theme which isn't as relatable to everyone.
This was really hard. I like aspects of each one - sounds like a great concept. I like hearing about 8 minutes/fast & easy close to the beginning of the title. Like as short as possible and concise. But I think "personality" needs to be in it as it appears to be a key focus. In one phrase "8 min guide to the growth potential" feels like missing a verb - instead maybe " 8 min guide to unlocking/unearthing the growth potential." You might want to use "tap into" like tap roots of a tree. Would like to see something not too long that covers everything and has the most important points first, something like "The 8-minute personality coaching method to tap into and maximize anyone's growth potential," or something like that, although I didn't include specifically "Tall Trees"
4 Responses to Option B
I'm a firm believer in God and that one is my top choice. Apart from that I like the ones focusing on unlocking growth in anyone. Not sure what the Tall Trees method is so I was unable to connect to that.
Option B presents a very holistic approach to guiding people. I love that it includes God, and takes about the whole person. This grabs my attention over the rest. I think the tall tree metaphor is my second favorite but it didn’t resonate as described, I think growing people to trees is a good idea but it didn’t strike me as concise in the titles here.
I really like this description because it is focused on the God given talent that we have and it focuses on a way to maximize this, it really brings the joy of coaching people to the forefront
If it's going to be a Christian book, you need to say that right up front so people can find what they are looking for.

I prefer the time range as the persuasive feature, rather than the age range. Time is a valuable commodity, and needing less time allows for more action.
I like it mentioning "just 8 minutes" and the variety listed in choice D! Though, if it were up to me, I'd suggest "Tall Trees" as the title and then "Don't Grow Them; Change Them: [subtitle]" would sound even better!
I like D the most because 8 minutes is very doable for me and it also makes it seem like it's more for everyone. / Then after that G and E and A because 8 minutes
This was difficult as these were all pretty decent...that being said, I guess I did tend to like the simper and easier to read over descriptions better.
I chose D because I like that it says it's only gonna take 8 minutes.
8 Responses to Option E
I prefer option E. I prefer to think of it as dealing with personality types rather than barriers. I use to be a charge nurse and found that matching up the personalities of nurses with the patients made everyone's day go much smoother.
I chose option E, because I like the "unearthing potential" and "any personality type". I think those are powerful in the way the book is described. I like H, but not as well as E. I like how H mentions growing beyond barriers. Option C is similar to E, but not as strong. Option G is ok, but not very strong. I think B, F and A are much weaker than the other options.
I prefer and would most want to read option E because I think that it is the most interesting, attention-grabbing, and overall the most appealing subtitle out of the eight options above.
I based my decisions off which summaries were the most compelling to me.
The introductions as ranked, appeals to me with regards to the title.
Option E is clear and concise, references personality and easy
I think E and H are the catchiest and easiest to understand
I like Options E &D the most. Both are well written and interesting as well as being simple in context and straightforward. They both are clear and direct with a positive message. I also think Option G is quite nice and has a pleasing simplicity. The remaining options are perfectly fine but not as eye catching and seem to be other way too flowery sounding or mumbo jumbo talk.

I prefer concise wording on any product. The more you have to read, the more you lose what it means.
My first choice is short , clear and to the point. In evaluating I am looking from the perspective of already being a coach and wanting to improve myself as much and as quickly as possible. This tells me what this book will do to help. The first two options are both good, But I think option F is the best.
I liked the copy that seemed the most effective in reaching out to the actual coaches and not their clients so much.
I don't like the idea of a timed "learn this in 8 minutes!" kind of thing. I think that really lacks something in the learning process. I like F, I think it's short and to the point.
It is my opinion that subtitles shouldn't be too wordy. Your two best choices are F and G, both of those get to the point and spell out exactly what the book is about.
Options F,G,E and D are simple titles that let you know right away what you're reading and what it is about.
F: States just enough info. to attract curiosity; A: includes 8-min. Growth Guide statement to attract coach with limited prep. time; C: includes info. on personality types; E: clear-cut statement including 8-minute time period; G: includes time info. and personality type ranking; D: not specific;H: too many vague words; B: "God-given" phrase may put off some shoppers.
I'm not a fan of subtitles that claim 8 minutes. F is simple. I like that H seems to define in what parts of life this may help such as professional life. I like C and G mentioning potential. I don't like that B says "God-given."
Option F. I chose the order of the options based on how easy it is to understand the subtitle without any prior knowledge or experience.

It is short and sweet and to the point.
I like a short and sweet tagline that focuses on the fact that it only takes 8 minutes
G summarizes the point very precisely and without any wasted words, which I appreciate.
Option G is the most concise while still getting across the purpose of the book. Options D, E, A, and F give a good understanding of what the book is looking to accomplish without being too wordy. Option B will narrow the reader base of this book in that it could turn away those from different religions.
g is short an to the point
G is simple and to the point. F and E are much the same, but I prefer G. C and A name check the program, which is good. I think the wording of D is a bit clunky. B is simple, but I don't think God is involved in sales. H is just too long and wordy.
I chose G as my first choice because its the simplest and most concise subtitle.
I ranked these in the order of what I think is the most enticing to me. I really like G, A and C the most because of how they are worded. They make me want to engage with the book more and grow as a person
I selected option G' because it sounds interesting and I also like how the subtitle briefly give an idea of what the whole book is about.
They don't know what the tall tree method is yet so i wouldn't lead with that like they know what it is. I also put the mouthier sentences at the end because I got bored too quickly. I picked the shortest most punches slogans as the top choices because they gave the info I needed in clear and easy to understand terms that I could pick up quickly.
G sounded the best when I read them out loud
I liked the shorter, crisper subtitles more, as well as the subtitles that included the "8-minute" reference, and ranked the options accordingly.
Have to go with G because of its clarity and conciseness. Brevity is key for me so far as subtitles go. It's the best because a reader doesn't want a "novel" on the cover of a book.
The short and simple subtitles seem to be the most suitable. The language used is understandable and I find these options to be appropriate for the book and its contents.
Options G&D are short and to the point. F makes me curious to find out what the number 1 barrier is. What are Tall Trees in H,C, and A. I am not sure I like that wording, I probably would not be interested. I like B and "God-Given" but would everyone? I am not sure if that wouldn't limit the marketing and reach a smaller amount of people.
5 Responses to Option H
I want the description to be specific and really allow me to see the benefit of this coaching method. I think Option H does the best job of that. It breaks out the type of barriers that this personality profile system can overcome, and makes it very clear how it can help a coach achieve success with his group. Some of the other options are too vague. I also like mention of God or spirituality.
I prefer option H because it explains clearly what the book will be about. Option H explains there will be a spiritual component to the book and I think it is important to include this information in the subtitle. Option H let's the potential reader know that the method includes spiritual components and readers would want to know this information before choosing the book. Also I like that option H let's you know about the personality profiles that will be used in the book. Option H is informative and gives me the information I would want to know before purchasing the book.
F and C have grammatical errors, and the 3-103 thing is bizarre (what 3 year old or older adult needs a life coach?!), and B just seemed odd.
I usually like numbers, very much, but in this case I'm thinking of my niece and nephews two of which are about to enter their teens. Option H appeals to me the most and I especially like the listing of barriers this offers to help them "grow" past. I often tell them that they aren't the ball in a pinball game (my parent's have a full size game in their den we all love to play), they are humans meant to use reason and their minds to overcome obstacles not just bounce off them randomly veering in directions as if they have no control. I also like Option B as God plays a major Role in my life.
In terms of my choices, H and E were my favorite choices due to their description being a bit more abstract, hence they have a lot more wider appeal - not to mention, E's use of "personality type". A and D, were next best due to them being a bit more clearer and direct in terms of their descriptions. F and B were were a tad too generic sounding, and C and G were last due to their hook "3 to 103" being a tad too corny., hence, ineffective.
