Which book title is more appealing?
41 Responses to Option A
this looks like a better tittle
looks more modern and appealing (font and design)
This cover is concise and clear, it makes me want to pick up the book.
i like the title and subtitle of this book more
I'm more interested by the aliens than I am Jesus.
I like the simple color scheme and more minimal look of choice A over choice B.
A sounds a lot more interesting to me
That sounds super cool. Aliens? Non-religious Jesus? Bent nails? It sounds like a great parable on christianity and something that is cutting edge and rather cool.
Choice A has a catchier title. Better graphic design. And the sub-text is more compelling. Choice B seems boring in comparison.
It seems more than just a book about Jesus of Nazareth. It is more "today" and something I would pick up to see what is hidden inside.
i like this one cause it basic and gets the point across
Alien life is pretty thought provoking, lol. I'd have to choose A.
this one tells me more
I chose A because it sounds like a strange and intriguing book -- what could all those things have to do with each other? Whereas choice B just seemed like a pamphlet someone would be handing out on the street.
It sounds authentic and like I might relate to it which is always nice. The other one sounds like it may be more of a "preachy" type book which I don't prefer.
The title with the graphics are super appealing and eye catching, especially on a shelf in a bookstore.
Atheism is upsetting to many people. A seems less threatening.
more captivating title
A is definietly more appealing because it is more descriptive and really makes me wonder what Detroit, alien life, and Jesus have in common. I'm like "what? what is THIS about?!"
the detroit cover is more appealing to me, both the title and colors
much more intriguing
It includes aliens. That is better than just something about religion. Also, A has the specific location of Detroit. I like a specific thing over a vague thing.
It's less overtly religious, and I'm interested in Detroit, so this one's way more interesting to me.
This book looks more compelling.
It sounds more interesting and gives a hint of what might be covered in the book
A seems to be more of a journey and interesting. Not like any I have seen in a while. I would pick this one up and want to read it.
better idea what it's about
This one is a little more intriguing to me
i find A more interesting
The other one seems like a boilerplate book promoting religion, which I'm not interested in, so this one wins by default
I really like the colors of this one
I think this title is a lot more interesting and makes me want to look into it more. The subtitle of this side makes me think it would be something I would want to see rather than a title that is somewhat confusing about weither its religious or not.
"A" is a more appealing title, but I don't get what that title has to do with the book (based on its description). But I'd be curious enough to find out.
A tells you a lot more about the content of the book itself, which gives you more reasons to be interested.
Option A seems more like something I would read
The blue text on a dark background along with the nail as an I make it eye catching
Seeing a different perspective on religion shows you things you may not expect to speak to you. The way the artist depicted the nails in a certain degree of charisma, etc. Something you wouldnt think is religion is more likely opening your eyes to accepting some levels versus the typical sunday televised edition
The title sounds more interesting and mentions Alien life.
Option A seems like a interesting multi-faceted story. Option B just raises a question, but the author already has the answer. I would definitely pass on B.
This one looks way more interesting. The other looks like standard religious propaganda that I wouldn't even consider picking up.
I love A it is very modern and and appealing title. I journey to non-religious Jesus sounds appealing and not a turn off. As a chirstian I would be interested more in A than B.

Very nice love the graphics
B is more intriguing.
The colors make the cover stand out more.
Really dont like the colors on Lost in Detroit.
I like B better. I do not like the references with Detroit in A.
I like option B a lot more because I think the title is simpler. The title encourages me to want to read more and because it's simpler I can remember the title better. I also really like the book cover of B over A. I love the image in the background. My only problem is I feel like the book title being over the image takes away the imagery a bit. Overall it's a nice design and title and would encourage me to pick it up for sure.
I think the context all mean what the reader will induce. There is no misleading language.
I picked Choice B because it feel more like the title is posing a question and tells you the answer in the title. However, it does so in a way that will make you want to read and find out why the answer is what it is. Along with how the author came to that conclusion. In contrast, Choice A seems too random. The 'Lost In Detroit' part confuses me, as does the 'Alien Life' subtitle. What do they even have to do to with a non-religious Jesus. I feel like it makes people ask to many questions in a way that would turn them off to the book.
B is more interesting, because it's such a bizarre contradiction that it makes me curious to understand the meaning behind it.
