Which book title is more compelling?
35 Responses to Option A
yes like a get the job YOU Want like that the YOU is capitalized good job
Much more eye catching. I like the capitalized YOU as well
I've done job searches before, haven't got the job I wanted.
Its a direct call to action, and puts the reader in the immediate position of feeling like that, if they read this book, it will help them get they job they specifically want.. Its just a more direct, action oriented title.
I want to get the job that I want, the other option is too generic.
Get the Job YOU Want is the perfect title for a book because it seems ordinary and real. This title would make me one to click on it to find more information about it.
Choice A makes the person feel empowered because it is a forward looking title. The other option is as if the job seeker is stupid and needs yo be told how to get a job.
Option a sounds more attractive and intriguing. It's the most desirable.
It sounds like a book I would read with a hook. B sounds like a marketing scam
Choice A definitely sounds more inspirational, and also more professional, so I prefer that one.
Its shorter and more concise. The capitalization looks like chatting which makes it seem more accessible.
Choice A targets specifically what you're looking for whereas choice B gives you tips on how to do something, but you will still need to work on the end result after.
It is more attractive and opens the mind to think big and go for their dream job.
I like the title because it is short and sweet and to the point.
I think A sounds more exciting and it is more to the point. Option B is a little too long and doesn't sound as much like a book title.
Option A sounds like an actual self help book aimed at helping someone getting their dream job. Option A's title would compel to pick the book up and consider buying it because it's about getting the real job you want and not how to just look for a job.
Option B seems condescending
Option A catches my attention much more than Option B, and if I were walking through a bookstore with both of these titles next to each other, I'd be more drawn to Option A.
The title in Option A resonates better in my opinion. I relate it to finding your dream job which makes it more interesting.
I'd rather be informed about how to go about finding the job I want to do rather than just a general idea of searching for a job. There's more to a job than just doing a job search.
It has a much higher intensity, catches the eye. It pops off the shelf and says, this is what you want.
It's a punchier title
I chose A because I'd rather learn how to get a job that I really would like. "The Real Way to Do a Job Search" is a little depressing, and it doesn't give me many choices on what I'd want to work as.
It's more to the point and concise
Sounds more personalized and not passive aggressive sounding.
It is shorter and more direct
A is shorter and I caught my attention. B I would have stopped reading
it is very simple and yet meaningful
It's more personal, it emphasizes my goals & sense of self-direction.
It is straight and to the point of what you are looking for and want.
direct and to the point
It emphasize the world YOU, thus get more attention
Option A sounds more proactive and empowering. It's short, to the point, and is highly action oriented. In short, the title is direct and is a call to action.
I like that this title expresses "YOU" as opposed to getting a job that is your only option or what someone else wants. The other title is too bland, Option B would be better for a blog post.
This is short and to the point. I would buy this book in an instant.

I like B the most for me because it seems like it is realistic and efficient. I would want to know the pros and cons of doing right and wrong searches and the pitfalls and this one gives me the feel of what I want.
I feel like option B sounds more trustworthy and factually based. "Get the Job YOU Want" feels a bit more like clickbait. However, I always feel like Option B could shortened a little, seems a little too wordy.
this is more compelling because it sounds like the book will tell you the steps of how to get the job. the other option really doesnt sound all that promising of getting the answers
I chose B because based on the title, it implies that it has a method for finding jobs based on interests and career goals. Whereas A only seems to be a self help book.
Choice B is a more compelling title because people like me get so overwhelmed with the whole job search process. Having a book that tells me how to do a job search effectively does entice me to read the book.
More subtle but gets the message of the title across
Option B sounds like it would be more helpful for people who have difficulty getting any kind of job.
The first one is too generic...it says *YOU* but I am not most people. Option B seems like it may cater more to specific situations.
The all capitol "YOU" feels unprofessional
If the book is just about job searching, this is the best title.
It sounds more professional and serious.
It seemed more analytical-sounding.
No all CAPS lettering
more simple sounding
A may sound attractive, but I feel B is more down to earth and practical.
