Which Comedy Travel Adventure book title would make you want to buy the book if you saw it on an Amazon Travel Humor book sales page?
Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 26 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
C | 34% 17 votes | 46% 23 votes +6 | 52% 26 votes +3 |
A | 34% 17 votes | 36% 18 votes +1 | 48% 24 votes +6 |
D | 18% 9 votes | 18% 9 votes | Eliminated 9 votes reassigned |
B | 14% 7 votes | Eliminated 7 votes reassigned |

An idiot in Cuba. I laughed at that title! Misadventures was fun too and those were the best. An Idiot though gets the reader off to a fun start.
Your book should be interesting to read. I like this title better, it caught my attention, short and to the point.
Option D is way too long - it's gonna be difficult for that to draw people's attention. Then, Option B is too vague. I liked Options A and C, but especially Option A as it was the most attention-grabbing and made me most want to read the rest of the book (or at least the description on the back).
Really choice a is the only good one, it's easy to read, it's easy to understand
The use of the word idiot immediately makes me laugh and want to open the book and start reading and wondering why is the person an idiot. The first choice is short and sweet and to the point which is what I want in a title. My last choice doesn't humor me much at all.
Option A just sounds the funniest to me. Option C is pretty whitty and still funny. Option D is a little too long to be a great title but still funny. Option B is just too simple
Option A is a funny title that tells a bit about what the book is about. Half Man Half Idiot sounds funny but the title is too long. Option C and B are both too vague.
Shorter and punchier is better.
The title of "A" seems to be the closest to the sub-genre indicated. "Misadventures" could be interpreted several ways.
the first one is just the most catchy title.
Choice A gabs my attention and would inspire me to look at purchasing the book.
The first option was most funny and the second option had good wording. The third was decent as the last was too wordy.
I think Option A will grab a wider audience of readers for the book. With the title midlife misadventures in Cuba you are kind of limiting your audience to a certain age group. An idiot in Cuba could be of any age and your imagination can picture lots of misadventures that can be gotten into.
Option B is simply too plain, while Option A is humorous and straight to the point.
Option A is simple and says it all as to what to expect with the book. Humor and dumb situations combined to be fun. Option D is a bit long for title, but does communicate a fun reading experience via its use of half/half which intrigues me. Option B is short and does indicate unusual events to be read about but doesn't indicate fun and comedy. Option C communicates a sense of mid life crisis and age related comedy and not really what I would expect in a travel adventure.
I don't think any of these names are great. I think a bit more thought should go into it. "A moron's guide to Cuba". I'm not sure.
A and D sounds funnier calling him an idiot.

All book titles seems interesting and entice me to read them.
cuba misadventures sounds more comical and relevant for a travel book
A and D just sound dumb even if going for humor it isn't funny in my opinion. B is a solid title that can still have satire to it while being simple. C is also catchy with the Midlife thrown in there as well
I like the two top I picked because the titles are really appealing
more descriptive here
Option B might be a little too simple and straightforward but it is definitely my favorite of the choices. The "Idiot Abroad" thing has already been done so the two with "Idiot" in the title definitely are no-go's in my opinion.
They are all the same to me. They are mean titles.

I love the first one t is so funny
C seems liek it would have the most depth to it and be the most intelligent, D has a title that could be seen as quirky and fun. B has a very geenral title, A has a title that may seem offensive to some or may make someone think that it is about a different subject such as politics
I am approaching mid-life, so I think Option C might be most relatable and humorous for me. I do like the titles with 'idiot' in them as I enjoyed the show Idiot Abroad, so I think these books would be just as fun.
My choices are based solely on personal preferences.
I would definitely pick option C, as it sounds somewhat neutral, and it also has a good word scheme. I think the word idiot is kind of self-effacing and also a bit negative, even if it is used to describe yourself. I doubt if I would even look at the cover if it had that word in it.
Option C is probably the most descriptive and people who have dealt with midlife in any capacity might understand how it could drive one to Cuba. There is an air of mystery with this one as well that makes you want to read on. Option D is probably the funniest title and you know you are going to be reading something humorous! Option B is rather bland, but I do feel like it touches on the more mysterious aspect noted with Option C that makes you want to know what they are talking about. My issue with Option A, is it isn't descriptive enough and one could think it's about Castro or some other leader in Cuba.
midlife misadventures sounds the most creative
C and d are really odd sounding. B is too short. I think c encompasses what the travel blog is trying to get across without it sounding lame
Idiot is a very strong word to use in comedy.
C and D tries to be a little interesting compared to the rest. None of them really catches my eye just from the titles.
I'm in midlife so obviously I'm partial to Option C. I also like Option A, but Option D is too wordy and Option B too bland.
unique and true yet funnt
I like option C as I would be able to relate to the title more as I approach my midlife.
I'm looking for a book written by an author with a unique perspective. "Midlife" suggests this the most. "Half Man Half Idiot" is at least a funny title, so it gets second place. The other two seem least interesting.
I ranked them in order of what sounds like be the most descriptive and funniest and most humorous title to the least.
the first two are better to me. Not fond of "idiot" in the title.
Opton C was the least offensive title for me and I would buy that one above all else. Option B was a rather vague title for me. Option D and A I did not particularly like because it has the word Idiot in it and I do not feel any book title humorous or otherwise should use the word idiot in it. It is too condescending.

D shows he doesn’t take himself too seriously and seems like it would be an interesting read. C also is clever, would catch my attention. A and b were descriptive, but d and c had a better zing.
I would choose option D because the title is the most amusing and funny in my opinion.
MY FRIST CHOICE D BECAUSE IT IS REALLY A BOOK OF COMEDY .I LIKE THE ADVENTURES COMEDY BOOK..THIS IS THE BOOK IF I SAW IT IN AMAZON TRAVEL HUMOR BOOK SALE PAGE.THE OTHER THREE BOOKS I WONT PREFER A LOT
I think option "D" makes for a good title and draws my attention. Option "C" makes an interesting statement. Option "A" is ok but more harsh. Option "B" is too vague.
I like option D the best because you can get a good synopsis of what the book is about.
Half man and half idiot is very self-deprecating. I wonder what happened.
I think the choice D is better because it describes the humor in the title and you can see without reading too much that its about humor and adventures.
the first one is kind of creative and that caught my attention
"Half man Half idiot" is funny and memorable enough to stand out.
