Which title is best?
Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 28 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
A | 56% 28 votes |
F | 16% 8 votes |
E | 14% 7 votes |
B | 6% 3 votes |
C | 4% 2 votes |
D | 4% 2 votes |

These all sound interesting to me - the one using bullshit was a major turn off but for some reason the word asshole didn't bother me.
In option A, there are no cuss words in the title, which I think is a plus.
I would prefer Option A that leads with Humanity at Work because it comes off as the most professional title and avoids cursing.
I like not having profanity in the title.
I like choice A better than the rest because it were less offensive. Choice A is the only option that use an offensive slur.
A IS THE BEST BECAUSE IT IS MORE INCLUSIVE WITHOUT THE BAD WORDS. B IS NOT SO BAD WITH THE BAD WORDS. ALL THE REST ARE JUST OK FOR ME.
I feel like there are plenty of books already that swear in the titles to stand out, so A is best.
not a fan of the vulgar language so i prefer the option A its the most positive
Humanity at work is the best option. There is no reason to use swear words and cussing and bad language to explain a business or service. It makes the company that is using that language appear, low class, juvenile and infantile. This type of language will not appeal to anyone of any maturity or seriousness. I find the use of this language offensive and unnecessary and I am sure the general public will feel the same
To be clear: I am not a fan of using profanity in a title, unless necessary. That's why I lean toward Choice A -- no profanity and it says the message it needs to say. The rest I am not a fan of.
I like only the option A. The languae in option seems appropriate to me. The rest of the options have very inappropriate language.
I liked A better than all of them , it seem like it did have a smart mouth phases to it , it was clear and to the point , the rest seem to not stand out at all to me that they needed some work done on them
I'm not sure how good any of these titles are, my fear is that while you may draw some people in with them, they are not the kind of people who would be looking for that sort of book. A is clean so thar goes 1st, F isn't perfectly clean but would get a pass from most people, the rest are just variations of bad
Using the word asshole is just asking for trouble when writing a book like this, it doesn't really seem that edgy stick to traditional titles like humanity at work, stop cussing
I probably wouldn't buy anything titled NO ASSHOLES ALLOWED, and I'm not a prude, so I put HUMANITY AT WORK in first place because it noted diversity, inclusion and well-being in the workforce without noting assholes.
I liked A the best because the profanity in the others turned me off somewhat
The cursing feels a bit crude but it works in a humorous respect
I went with the ones the were less offensive. I do not see the why the others used cuss words in their descriptions.
Option A is best because it leads out with a good keyword, which is diversity. The fact that it doesn’t have profanity in it is a plus
I think the simple, straighforward title works best.
I prefer the phrase "humanity at work". I also like the mention of both diversity and inclusion.
I don't like a swear word in the first or second word of the title.
Option A is the only one I would use. I do not swear, and that extends to what I write online. I just randomly chose the other five, because they are the same with the swearing.
Honestly, I think swear words are bad for any kind of advertising regarding an HR subject. So every single entry except A is unaccceptable. The people who buy this are the same kind of people who manage write-ups for profanity. Seriously.
This title is best. It is proper, appropriate, and more professional. I will order for my book club.
Choice #1 (A): Relevant title for today; no offensive language. Choice #2 (F): Similar language to (A) and states that it is a guide. Choice #3 (B): Did not like first two words, but did like the verb "optimizing". Choice #4 (D): appeared to be a how-to guide for organizations. Choice #5 (C): seemed to offer employers a way to get and keep "the best people". Choice #6 (E): Offensive language and vague title.
A is professional, detailed, and indicative.
All of the ass-hole free stuff sounds terrible. Sorry. Not a fan of any of these names but I liked A best.

I like that choice B is highly funny and extremely relevant as well.
The best, attention grabbing titles involve being "Asshole Free". They grab the reader's attention quickly. The subject matter of diversity and how to do this with a remote workforce is very good. We need to keep that up and make sure we are on top of things when it comes to diversity in the workplace. So this book is definitely going to be great for human resources and managers to make sure they are able to have a great working environment that is diverse and inclusive.
I went with B first. I like it a lot. We all want to work in a ah free environment #1. #2 diversity and inclusion are important aspects of any organization. #3 W are becoming more and more remote. That requires us to evolve as workers. I chose F next because it is the next best one because it emphasizes no bs while expanding on the other 2 reasons I chose the first one: inclusion, diversity and then the remote aspect of today's workforce. Option E is kind of a balance between A and B so it was chosen next. C, D, and A while good, I didn't feel quite conveyed what the first 3 options did as well.

Option C caught my attention first and would make me want to read the book. Option F is a close second. It has a very eye opening title that is direct and straightforward. The other Choices didn't really seem that catchy to me.
i chose in order of how based the slogan was. how honest and to the point without sugar coating it.
2 Responses to Option D
I prefer the first one. It's the easiest to remember and the most clever. The wording is just right and it makes me curious to read it.
Man I like all of them lol! Not one is better than the other. They are all good titles and very interesting.
7 Responses to Option E
I think the No assholes and No bullshit ones are the ones most likely to speak plainly, makes it more relateable.
These are the most memorable and seem the most interesting.
I really like all of the titles but option E is definitely my favorite overall. I like the title best and the description that goes with it.
Even though it uses profanity i really like how direct and to the point the title under option E is, it sums up what a lot of workplaces lack these days and it would be a title that would really draw my attention to it.
I chose based on the titles and how attention grabbing they were despite the use of profanity
I think the first one grabs your attentions with shock value and then delves in and tells your what is you are going to learn. The No BS Guide makes me think you're going to learn just the facts and in an ever fast paced life, that is very appealing. The Asshole Free books makes me think that there is going to be a zone free of Assholes but I like the Keeping your Best People because ideally in a workplace you want to keep employees.
The use of mild profanity is definitely attention grabbing and more people will click on an article like that. The No assholes allowed intro is definitely interesting and the most attention grabbing. No bullshit allowed is also super attention grabbing. Next, all the ones that say Asshole free, will spark curiosity.

F to me says it best but all the others are good titles as well. you can't go wrong with any of them but F is best in my book.
F and A are the only ones I would take seriously
Humanity at work title is very nice and good quality,
The wording NB starting in this book title shown in option F is strong and makes me feel connected to this book and probably I would buy it. The other options are not strong enough.
F is straight to the point, A is a nice title overall. D C B are similar in they are all asshole free, I ranked those based on tagline. E is last because No Assholes Allowed sounds harsh.
profanity makes it a little difficult to rate. profanity is not professional
I love the "No Bullshit.... " line on the first one. Several of the others, I didn't quite get what the "No Assholes...." line had to do with diversity and all. Sorry.
Calling out someone on their bullshit, although is negative, is also extremely productive and makes people assess themselves. Asshole works in a similar fashion but some people accept being assholes unless publicly called out on it. Option A is very PC and will not work.
