- This passage flows better and gives some needed details that the other one does not.
- I think option B makes the plot of the book more clear

Assuming you have some interest in cloaks, please review this website ravenfoxcapes.com and give us feedback to improve the site or make it clearer?
This is a 1 option poll with 50 respondents targeting Preferred book genres (Books Read: Science Fiction & Fantasy). A sample of responses:
- Looks cool to me. Very modern design, looks like a pretty standard website.
- There's just way too much scrolling on the front page. It needs to be condensed; it's literally 7 or 8 screens worth of images and giant text.
- I like the site, but it's kind of an info dump on the main page, which is kind of overwhelming. The pop up that forces me to take a quiz is ANNOYING, please remove it, I can't close out of it without clicking it.
- Higher quality product images
- The about and Contact info would look better linked at the bottom.

You’re looking for your next weird west/western horror read. Which cover do you pick off the shelf?
This is a 2 option poll with 50 respondents targeting Gender identity (Male) and Preferred book genres (Books Read: Science Fiction & Fantasy). A sample of responses:
- I would likely select Option A because I like the air of mystery and a horror that is present with the raven or crow imagery. Option B is actually a cool image, but it doesn't seem reflective of the title or very dynamic.
- This one immediately says "Western" to me, so I'd be more likely to go for it over the other one.
- has a picture that is more relatable with the book title. has a witty phrase at the top
- Having the raven or crow on the cover makes it more mysterious thus fits in with a horror genre.
- I like the look and the feel of option B. It makes me think it would be a good read.

Your looking for your next favorite Weird West/Western Horror read. Which cover would you grab off the bookshelf?
This is a 2 option poll with 50 respondents targeting Preferred book genres (Books Read: Science Fiction & Fantasy). A sample of responses:
- The cowgirl would clue me in that it is a western-themed book, and if I was looking for a western-horror, then choice B would be my first pick.
- I like this cover the most because the cover looks like what I would imagine for this genre of book. The other one looks to feminine and girly, it doesnt look like a horror book.
- I like the cover with the redhead, she is attractive and caught my attention to that book.
- Option A looks more ominous and dark which I think would suit my tastes better. It is more attractive to me overall.
- option A: The raven makes the book more curious to read. makes me think of how ominous ravens are and the negative vibes that always surround them, makes me curious, would like to read the summary of this coveroption B: makes me think of the typical cowgirl wanna be that deals with the same ghost town and the mystery happenings.

Which book would you rather read? This is a science fiction adventure story reminiscent of pulp sci-fi magazines of the 30' and 40's.
This is a 4 option poll with 50 respondents targeting Preferred book genres (Books Read: Science Fiction & Fantasy). A sample of responses:
- Based on how the title "flows", I would choose Option A, then D, C, and unfortunately not B. B just doesn't sound correct at all.
- The first 2 options sound like the best titles for this book or piece of literature although the 2nd option sounds a tad bit illiterate. The last 2 options are not good at all in my view.
- Option C doesn't give enough information. Option B tells me just enough. I have two female characters and an object that hints at what it does, A and D add adjectives that really don't tell me anything and I may not agree with them after I read the book.
- D and A sound like big and epic tales which I think this book is trying to be. B is okay. C is way too short.
- I ranked A and D the lowest as they actually sound more like children's novels by the use of words like "astounding" and "amazing"; Option C is my favorite as it is lacking this implied childishness and is very terse and to the point. B is like this to a lesser extent, but the naming of the characters in the title is still reminiscent of a kid's book.

Which cover do you prefer for a sci-fi book?
This is a 2 option poll with 50 respondents targeting Preferred book genres (Books Read: Science Fiction & Fantasy). A sample of responses:
- I prefer B because of the scenery and the colors used. A is too sexualized and looks like an icon for a mobile game (one of those pay-to-win ones about making choices as a king, or sultan, etc).
- The other option doesn't look like a science fiction book at all.
- They're both good in different ways, B feels more serious, but also suffers from a resemblance to a lot of other dystopian books with young female protagonists. It's very competent, but doesn't stand out. A on the other hand instantly grabs my attention with the high quality, vibrant and colorful art. The only downside is the style seems to imply it is for a somewhat younger audience than A. Without knowing the intended audience for the book, I can't make a judgement on the differences. Overall though A intrigues me and catches my attention, which is vital for cover art.
- I like the darker look of Option B, and I think it is more consistent with a sci-fi book than Option A, which looks more a fantasy book.
- I like option A because I like the mirror showing someone slightly different. It makes me more curious about the book.
-
Which cover would make you want to by this Urban Fantasy book about modern-day witches in Salem?
This is a 2 option poll with 50 respondents targeting Preferred book genres (Books Read: Science Fiction & Fantasy). A sample of responses:
- Choice A would be more likely to make me want to purchase this book. It stands out much more than the other option.
- I really love the colors in option B with the blues below and the shadow of a man. It is very alluring and enticing. I generally don't like people to be on covers but in this case it is a great juxtaposition with the female face on top and the moon with the silhouette below. Very well done, I even like the pentagram accent on the O of "Your". My only criticism is that I like the way "League of the Moon" is presented in Option B.
- a grabs my eye over b, good coloring and detail
- I chose option A because the attractive woman makes the the design more appealing
- The cover has many things that makes me curious about what the story is about. Is this woman the main character? What does she do? Is she a witch? Is she good or bad?
-
Which fantasy novel would you buy?
This is a 3 option poll with 50 respondents targeting Preferred book genres (Books Read: Science Fiction & Fantasy) and Gender identity (Male). A sample of responses:
- C and A sounds cool to me. B sounds a bit boring and a bit basic. C and A are ones that I would like to read.
- I like the title of B best. Feels very mysterious and intriguing.
- B sounds more intriguing compared to the rest.
- The term 'Innovation' is not useable for a fantasy novel. Hunted by fire gives a sense of intrigue.
- Option B because the title was the one that popped out the most
-

- Gives me a more complete view of the story and the first paragraph gets my attention better to keep reading the rest of the description
- Option B is a little more condensed but still interesting and you get a sense of the story.
- I like the layout of this one more, and I think that it would be a better one to use
- Option A sounds like a better way to put the story. I don't want the whole story spoiled in the intro. I like surprises.
- B is simpler and more clear, even if it leaves out some facts needed to better understand the story
